Okay… all I could think as we were eating was that it was okay, but not anything great. We had the lemongrass chicken dumplings, Brussel sprouts, arancini and the albondigas. All were just okay, which for what we’re paying isn’t worthwhile. The brussel’s we’re smokey, but plain and IMO missing an acidic note. The arancini were simply bland, crispy and a decent texture but I couldn’t differentiate the prosciutto or provolone at all. The sauce a that accompanied it was also okay, not great. The chicken lemongrass dumplings were also unimpressive, the typical flavors of this type of dumpling lemongrass and ginger didn’t come through. It was served with a sauce that while had a nice spice was extremely sweet. The albondigas were also pretty bland, no strong flavors and was even lacking an appropriate amount of salt. Over all my experience wouldn’t bring me back. The beer was good as was the wait staff, but the food and atmosphere weren’t up to snuff.

A little on the pricey side, but not too bad — especially if you have a group to split everything with. Food was tasty with very unique flavors. My only complaint is that they don’t separate checks, which was a bit of a headache for my group of 14. I’ll be heading back, bit with less people.

This place has amazing food! We arrived without a reservation and was told we could be seating if we would be done within an hour and a half. I’ve never been told that before, but she wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the timing of their upcoming reservations which was a nice courtesy. There was the option to sit at the bar as well. We both order craft beers which were delicious. My husband and I decided to order and share and we picked out 5 tapas, and they were wonderful! The server was very attentive and paced our food to arrive at the table in a perfect time fashion. We couldn’t help but order dessert and chose the donuts which were out of this world! I know we will be going back to this place soon!

Not sure what took us so long to try this place. We know people that eat here but always ended up at our regular places every time we went downtown. We got there on a Saturday as soon as they opened and sat at the bar. I’m not even sure where to start. The drinks were excellent, food was great and even had the bartender pick a plate or two for us. We tried the wings, eggplant, dumplings/pot stickers and the list goes on. For me the highlight was the shrimp and grits, may have been the best I’ve had since the last time we were in New Orleans. Definitely coming back once we can.

I came here for a drink and dessert after getting dinner elsewhere on a Saturday night. The bar seemed well stocked, and the atmosphere was nice. No dirty people, mostly well dressed. Definitely classier than some other local spots. The noise level was pretty high, but not in an obnoxious way. The cannoli was good, and so was the live music.

My only regret is not trying this place sooner! All types of food, perfect tapas size portions, and reasonable prices! Definitely coming back again soon :-)

I haven’t visited in a couple of years, historically, Stella Blu’s food has been great. A couple weeks ago I was drawn in by the new menu options during the week. My boyfriend and I both got the prime rib, it was not great, honestly the 99’s has better quality. It didn’t seem fresh. I did have a Cosmo which was made perfectly! I would go back for their regular menu items since that’s what I’ve had luck with in the past.

My son, my niece and I enjoyed our Tapas at Stella Blu. From the calamari, short ribs ravioli, arancini to the carbonara gnocchi to the Kobe sliders and Parmesan wings we enjoyed every bite. The Espresso martinis were perfect compliments to the small plates. Dessert included crème brûlée and salted caramel donuts. While I found the donuts too soggy due to the salted caramel sauce, my son loved them. The only negative was that although the restaurant was not busy at all they sat us in front of an emergency exit and right behind other diners. There were plenty of open tables and I would have preferred to be able to spread out a bit, not be cramped by another table full of diners.

My wife and had the calamari, brussels sprouts, chicken empanadas and drinks. They all were excellent. Anne, our server gets an A+. I’m looking forward to trying more of their dishes. The quality of the food was amazing! Clean environment and very good prices. Try it out.

Really, really good! Casual ambience, and fabulous food, good service. We enjoyed some small plates and then a few dinner plates. Spinach artichoke dip was a little unusual(in a good way) — light, and instead of a thick heavy cheese, had light stringy cheese. Also enjoyed the Kobe sliders, calamari, Stella fries, carbonara(enough for two meals), chicken Marsala, short rib ravioli(with short ribs both inside and outside the raviolis). And oh, the yummy cocktails! I enjoyed the drink called Strawberry Fields with strawberry purée and prosecco, and my daughter enjoyed the apple cider Bellini. For 6 people, including drinks and a 20% tip, the bill was $ 280. Live music after 9 on the weekend.

My wife and I came to Boston a few weeks ago on vacation and wanted to show me where she grew up on Nashua. We made reservations here and met up with an old childhood friend. The wine selection is very good and the food is great as well. They serve everything on tiny«appetizer» plates which is great for sharing as well as trying new things. If I’m ever in Nashua again I’ll definitely return!

I have been here more times than I can count and keep asking myself why I haven’t written a review yet. I guess the main reason is, I can’t decide if I love or hate it here. Downtown Nashua has really come a long way in the food scene and I am super excited to have a local tapas place. However, I have never left this restaurant with my mind blown. They have a nice variety of tapas from different cuisines but it seems as though every dish lacks something every time we come in for dinner. If I like a dish at one visit, I may hate it the next time. Consistency is so important in the restaurant business and it seems as though SB struggles with it. Now mind you– I won’t not come here but I also do not have my expectations set super high. I also seem to get the same waitress who always looks miserable and seems to hate her job so that really ruins the dining experience as well.

Surprisingly delicious. Well, shouldn’t be surprised since I picked from Unilocal with 4.5 stars. Got scallop, Kobe slider, Brussels sprouts and napa valley Cabernet. Wine is my least favorite but drinkable. Scallop and burger are excellent!

Compliments to the chef! This is by far the best place around. If you want good quality food. You need to try this place! My friend and I went here last night. Every dish that came out was amazing! These are small plates but no complaints here about that! Everything looks delicious I wanted to try every dish which is why it’s great they decided to do small plates. We got the arancini’s first. They sit on top of a light marinara sauce that is delicious! Next came the Beer Braised Beef Short Rib which I highly recommend! Falls apart with just a fork –YUM! Then we got the thin crust Prosciutto and Fig pizza. The sweet/salty mix on this is perfect! We of course couldn’t pass up dessert! Well I couldn’t! Crème Brulee with fresh fruit. Oh my! I wanted to order another to take home! We had a few Martinis as well. The Upper Manhattan, Expresso, and a gin cucumber martini that I can’t remember the name to. All very delicious! I highly recommend this place. Food was nothing short of amazing! I will be back!!!

I came here very early for dinner one night, I think they just opened at 5 and we got there at 5:30. There was only one other table that was seated. We sat at the bar. There were three employees all huddled at the end of the bar chatting away, we weren’t greeted we just sat down got looked at and they continued to talk. We sat there probably for 7 min before one of the bartenders was making her way over still taking. My husband and I each ordered a specialty drink which were both pretty good. Then we ordered some tapas; artichoke dip, I think it sat out for awhile before they brought it to us, because the cheese on top was hard and it was just one giant piece of cheese. Teriyaki Wings, these were pretty tasty, we liked these, braised beef, wasn’t too bad, the vegetable purée was good that it sat on. Sliders, these were good too. We ordered a lot because it is a tapas place. Overall the food and drinks were good. The service at the bar was kinda eh. It got better, but it was a bad first impression. I have been here a few times, but always sat a table with friends and the service was pretty good at the tables.

Great cocktails and small plates. The food menu isn’t too extensive so what they do offer, they do well. Creative drink menu and a nice selection of beer. The bar is nice & long and sometimes there’s live music. It’s great for a date or a gathering with friends. The small plates are large enough to share and feel satisfied. If looking for a full meal it’s best to visit a nearby restaurant but consider starting here or ending here with a desert cocktail & their doughnuts with chocolate dipping sauce.

Beverages are always decent, food is mostly small plates done all fancy but I’m not into it. As I recall, the food is pretty good though. The really noticeable thing bout this place is al the hard surfaces for sound to reflect off. The sound is almost always oppressive, regardless of how many people are here but it’s really rough when it’s busy.
