Very good food and friendly staff. Like the casual and relaxed atmosphere! Pizza was very good. Meatball(Bocce Balls) were huge!

I have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered from here will remain the last time. I ordered the steak tip dinner with fries and a side salad. The menu I had from my previous trip stated it was $ 13. When I picked up my meal it was $ 17(ok inflation, whatever). When I got home and opened the box I was only given 4 steak tips and enough fries to feed 3 people. Did I really just pay $ 17 for a ton of fries? I will never be giving my money to this establishment again!

This place is great! I’m shocked it doesn’t have a higher rating. I order take out pretty often. The pizza I order here is one of my favorites(large Bianco pizza, add prosciutto, bacon, and pineapple — SO good) and I’ve also tried many of their sandwiches: cheeseburger club, the newbury, the pilgrim wrap, and more. Large menu, still many things I’m anxious to try. Service has always been friendly. Atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Nice large convenience store-style refrigerators with a wide selection of beverages. The bakery case cannot be missed as you walk in — everything in there looks AMAZING! Bakery items seem a bit pricy upon first impression but keep in mind the quality. Pricing is on par with what you’d see in a Boston north end bakery. I’ve tried a few of the baked items(cookie dough cheesecake bars and red velvet cake come to mind) and was always so glad I did! Bottom line — I’m a big fan! Especially the pizza! Highly recommended.

I’ve been to Valentino’s in the past(1 – 2 years ago) several times and gave up as the food was always poorly prepared and the staff for whatever reason could not get an order correct. However today I ordered a buffalo chicken calzone with little to no expectations and was pleasantly surprised! While these certainly are not cutlets and are tenders it is still an exceptional calzone and the best I’ve received in the area! Overall the store was clean, the gentleman who took my order sounded unimpressed to be working however the food itself is a 8−9÷10 and will be my go to for calzones in the area!

A large pizza ordered half pepperoni half mushroom. got a mushroom and pepperoni pizza. crust was undercooked and slimey. cheese was rubbery. I would rather get a frozen pizza instead of this. will do next time.

I was in Nashua visiting family, and we decided to go out here to eat. I’m ¼ Italian, and my grandmother spoiled me growing up with a plethora of authentic Italian dishes. That being said, I’m very picky about Italian food. Valentino’s impressed me from beginning to end. I started by splitting a Bianco Calzone with my sister. It was quite large for the price, absolutely stuffed full of cheese, and had a delicious garlic sauce on it. The dough itself was hardy without being too thick and had a perfect texture to it. It’s pretty obvious the dough was homemade, as I can tell when frozen dough is used somewhere. For me entrée I had the gnocchi with bolognese. The potato gnocchi was incredibly tender and amazing The bolognese sauce, while not as good as grandma’s was within spitting distance(Sorry grandma). Service throughout the meal was prompt and friendly, and at one point the manager Justin introduced himself to the table and asked how everything was. He had a great sense of humor and had our entire table laughing. I was so full that I ended up taking some chocolate covered cannoli back to the hotel with me for later consumption. It made a perfect late night snack. The only thing that I’m disappointed about is that I live too far away to eat here once a week. Maybe I’ll stop by before I fly out and load up on pastries to bring back to Tucson…

Have ordered from Valentino’s a few times. The food is decent but they mess up orders all of the time. Last time they forgot to give me something I ordered and this time they didn’t give salad dressing with the salads.

Just awful… we recently ordered take out for lunch. The salads were loaded with so much onion that almost all was left uneaten. The Forgetaboutit combo was very overcooked, dry as a bone with very little sauce. The Bocce balls(a dough covered meatball with sauce) was just a big plain meatball in a little sauce with NO dough covering. We’ve given this place a try several times because we enjoyed it the first time, but it has gone steadily down hill since. Never Again!

Just left for a little desert for take out. We had a sample of Ricotta cheese cake, Tiramisu, Ricotta cannoli, and a fresh baked chocolate cookie. What an Italian delight. I’m 100% Italian and I’m truly thinking for the holidays to pass their deserts as mine. I give this pastry chef 10 stars. Believe me this is a place that needs to be on your holiday order!!! It was 6:00 pm I asked the lovely Nicole about a lonely slice that was ready to leave. She said it would be her pleasure after she checked with others to give it to us for free. But let me tell you this is a pie that deserves another 10 stars. It was meatball and ricotta. Now I I’m going to order meatballs for the holidays. All I can say is yummy. And as for the Mgmt. Nicole is a lovely women whom I found charming and very helpful. Great job to you all !!!

For starters, the service here was excellent. Waitress was super friendly and charming. My group was seated quickly in a clean(if somewhat plain) family restaurant. The food, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. It was very plain, super heavy; I didn’t see any options that were geared towards someone eating with the preservation of their heart in mind. My meal came out SWIMMING in a sea of cream and butter; it was completely unappetizing. I can certainly understand people that enjoy super rich foods to like this place, and again couldn’t have been more pleased with the people there. Unfortunately, I wasn’t satisfied by their overly heavy dinner selection.

Heard about the market/café on the radio and was delighted to learn of an Italian store close by. Sadly, an Italian market it is not. A few bags of dry imported pasta and a couple of cans of Pastene products dot the area, but basically this is a take out restaurant with tables to dine in if chosen. We did try their cutlet pizza which was excellent. The crust was thin, very much like true NY pizza. Loved the plum tomato sauce with chunks of chicken parm and fresh mozzarella and basil. Will be back again to try other selections. Just wish we could get a real North end market with all the imported and homemade pastas in this area.

Valentino’s Kitchen is located walking distance from the Sky Meadow Community which is a plus. Unlike the previous folks, I have never experienced anything bad from this place. The staff are friendly and willing to assist with anything you need. All the desserts I’ve tried were freshly made. I love their desserts especially their freshly baked gigantic cookies(especially, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cranberry, White Chocolate Cookies, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies) and Tiramisu. Rum Baba was alright, it’s not my kind of cake. Also, a fan of their butternut squash soup, tortellini salad, cheese ravioli and pepperoni pizza! However, they don’t always have my favorite item — the tortellini salad. I’ve been there 4 times looking for it :(If they don’t have the type of pizza in the pizza display, they are willing to make a pizza so you can have a slice of what you’d like. I have yet to try their Chicken Marsala. I wish they made Chicken Piccata or Chicken Francese!

Maybe I caught them on a bad day considering they were coming to a close… However it was pretty bad. We ordered take out, I got a chicken teryaki sub and truly had to throw it away. It was sopping wet, falling apart, and the chicken was so bland. Ive never had take out thrown together so poorly. I will give them credit and say it was shortly closing(about 30 min or so) so they told us they would only allow pick up, however the food was just so sloppy and not good at all.

My bf and I wanted to try this place, because we saw it on phantom .
At first site it was a quaint little country looking store, very clean and I loved the décor it was welcoming. We were greeted right away and the girl at front desk was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a small garlic and onion pizza, we sat at one of there ½ dozen tables and the young lady bought our pizza to us with plates etc. It smelled so good and first bit OMG yummy. The young lady came back with money apologizing that she charged us for a large pizza and apologized up and down, we didn’t even notice. We loved the honesty, you don’t see much of that any more !! Ok now why the 4 stars? I have to say we both loved the pizza, but we had bad bad heartburn from it, ALLDAY !! We eat garlic, onion pizza all the time and never had this reaction. So Sadly I had to drop a star.

STAYAWAY This place has the worst service. I just went and ordered two hot subs and it took them 25 minutes to make them. They had 4 people working, the place was empty and no one seemed to be working very hard. I have worked in food service and I know that during meal time you step it up. If your busy you work harder! None of that was happening here. They did have a large order that apparently was called in but still there was no urgency in anything they did. I have been here before and the food is decent but there is no excuse for taking that long to make two sandwiches. It won’t be long before this place is closed. Maybe someone will open a place that realizes what it means to make food in a business area at lunch time. We only have 60 minutes, to spend almost half of that waiting for an order will drive people away. I for one will not be going back and that extends to their full serve restaurant near by. I have seen that the owner has responded to a review on Unilocal.I wonder what they will say now? Why wait, close this place now!

Update: Address Owner’s Response Below(to view original review, please go on my page) I would like to thank you for acknowledging that you let me purchase old pastries at your bakery counter, which was one of my three issues I addressed in my review. I would like to note that the reason for me posting my review now and not back when this happened, is because I recently had the opportunity to try your pastries again at a friend’s gathering and sadly your issue has not been rectified as you mention below. Again, the pastries were stale and lacked any flavor or texture that these type of pastries should have. Also, you have neglected to address my lunch experience that was unsatisfactory as well as the lack of «hospitablness» from your staff. I would like to address your exaggeration of the conversation that took place in person between my husband and your manager. If it is Valentino’s stance of 100% customer satisfaction then your management team would have given some sort of option to rectify the situation over the phone. This would have corrected the issue and avoided any reason to need to speak to the owner in person. Sadly, your manager was extremely rude and lacked any ability to execute rectification which forced us to drive to the store to speak directly with the owner. In your absence, my husband proceeded to give two fair options and a contingent option if she wasn’t able fairly address the situation. The very first option(the most fair option for your business) was to issue a credit that we would reinvest back into your store to give you the opportunity to sustain our business. The second option was to refund our money in full(the most fair option for the consumer) and the contingent option would be to provide no refund and force us to turn to social media /word of mouth to exemplify the strengths and weaknesses of your business. Not once did my husband ever threaten physical damage to you or your business; however, in fairness he provided what would be acceptable to make this situation right. To provide some insight of my husband’s professional culinary experience, he is a retired chef that has traveled the world in search of great food and has learned how cuisine is properly prepared in many different regions. Needless to say, he has a great reputation in the food industry and has had his fair share of a genuine pastries across the world. On the other end of the spectrum, five people with no culinary background who just have a sweet tooth thought that all of the pastries were the worst they have ever had, not knowing that they were 2 days old. In conclusion, since the conversation was recorded, you know in your heart that my husband was very reasonable and non threatening and your management team wasn’t able to make things right. It is unfortunate that they had to call you at home on a Saturday night for a $ 20 refund, when they knew those pastries should have never been served. This conversation is not«over an éclair», it is not a threat to harm your business, nor is it a reason to come on an open forum to complain, but a simple statement expressing my true experience with your operation and products. There is no one in this area that wants a great bakery and Italian eatery more than us and it s unfortunate that your establishment wasn’t able to fulfill our needs.

I ordered takeout from Valentino’s Kitchen(former Sky Market Pizza) recently. I ordered a Small 12″ Chicken, Broccoli and Alfredo Pizza($ 11.95 plus tax), which was hot and ready to go in about 15 minutes. The pizza was very good and had nice flavors, which was topped with fresh broccoli, tender pieces of grilled chicken, creamy alfredo sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese on top of a firm puffy pizza crust, crisp on the outside and a soft texture inside. I would definitely return again to order another pizza and also make a stop at the bakery counter for some desserts. The big frosted cupcakes and the napoleons looked pretty good!

I go because I work down the road, so it’s convenient. I am not impressed at all with the food. You read the menu and everything sounds so good, but then you get the actual product and it’s sub par to par, nothing better. The service is good and the prices a about where they should be. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Elaine from a previous review is correct. The Italian sub having barely any meat is an accurate statement. I took a picture to show this. While it tastes ok, by no means is it «overstuffed» as stated by staff at Valentino’s. Mary: Although I agree it looks like I took the meat out of the sandwich as there is not a lot in it, this is exactly how I received it. I too was surprised. Note: My picture was taken down by the establishment. Clearly they do not want their actual«Italian» sub being shown to people. This does not seem like very good business practice to me.

My husband saw this place advertised on one of the shows on TV, maybe TV diner or Phantom Gourmet. So one Sunday afternoon about a month ago we thought we would try it. Our friend joined us. My husband and I both got subs. I got the eggplant which had hardly any eggplant in it and hardly any sauce. His was an Italian coldcut sandwhich called the North End. His had hardly any meat in it. Anyone who is Italian would be ashamed to serve that. I know it’s not the North End, but put a little meat in it. Our friend got a slice of pizza, she said it was OK. Needless to say we won’t be going back. Save your gas and your time. Subway(who I am not a fan of) puts more meat in their subs. Things must have changed since the tv program was there.
