We went for a family lunch on a weekday. Portions are getting smaller, miso soup used to come together with lunch specials. Our waiter seemed a bit lost or frazzled? asked for our check, he came back 15 minutes later and talked to himself and realized that he didn’t bring the check. Owner was helping out during lunch too, didn’t see him in the restaurant before. Either chef has changed or more hands-on management is necessary now. We had bi-bim-bap, grilled salmon, salmon roll: not bad but kind of average, nothing to write home about. Unlikely to visit again.

We went back to You You after being away for quite some time. We’ve been on and off regulars for about 15 years. I rarely feel compelled to write anything negative. Our experience today is worthy of an exception. The Halibut special was overcooked, overpriced, and unimaginative. I suppose all that overcooking was why it took forever to get our meals. Our server never once asked how our meal was. When presented with the check, I had to ask her if she normally inquired about her guest’s experience. I gave her a honest and mixed review; the bento-box shrimp tempura was good(but not as good as I remember, a bit dry but certainly not worthy of a complaint.) The $ 25 Halibut special was a dry lump of overcooked Haliubt served with dry white rice and a small blob of spinach. Disappointing to say the least. She returned soon with the check and mentioned, ambivalently, «I told them». On our way out two young women giggled and thanked us. The place used to be packed at lunch, but was mostly empty. Perhaps there is a reason for that.

Best Asian resturant in Southern NH. I have been enjoying the food at You Yous for over 15 years. The quality is consistantly excellent. The portion size is generous. The Japanese menue items are Great as is the Thai food. I haven’t tried the American menu items because that is not why I come here. The staff is friendly and gives excellent service. It is very popular and sometimes you have to wait for a table but you would expect that on a weekend night. My favorite resturant in Southern NH.

Great food and great drinks. Their bartender Mike is just the best! Their sushi is creative and yummy. I wish their bar area was a bit bigger as it fills up quickly but their dining room is very large and can accommodate large parties.

Food is always mediocre, at best. The crab cakes, this last trip, tasted like crunchy fry grease. Even my mother thought so and her expectations for food are far from high. It’s way too dark. Every time I go there I end up leaving wishing I remembered how little I intend to return.

The service is slow but the food is hands down the best. I travel 45 minutes just to get the pad Thai ! The sushi is great also.

Then service really depends on the day you go in to you yous, if you go during peak times expect to wait for a little while. I have been going there since I was 12 years old and now I’m 20. I still go there every few weeks when I can because it’s the best place to get sushi and pad Thai in nashua. I have had some great waitresses in there and some terrible waiters, the turn over rate in there for staff is pretty high. The only thing that I find odd about you yous is the lack of a cocktails list. There are no specialty drinks. Sometimes I think that the sushi could be a lot bigger for what you’re paying for but over all you yous is a good establishment with decent service and really good quality food.

I love this place! I’ve never been here for dinner but frequent it often for lunch. Prices are reasonable, they just recently went up but I guess that’s to be expected. It’s still a quality place. Small. Nothing fancy but good good food. High recommend it.

Raw tuna him bim pop. Its nothing like how its served in South Korea. Pickled ginger, radishes, sweet pickles and loads of lettuce. Watch out for the wasabi. …wow. kimchee was very fermented! The owners say this is how they were taught. I thought that there was too much lettuce. I lived south of Seoul. We ate it differently.

visited You You last night and had a decent meal of sushi. The low point was the pork ramen– The price was close to $ 10.00 yet the serving size was surprisingly small. I’ve had the ramen in all other local restaurants that serve it, and I must say this restaurant has the smallest portion. When it was served to me I almost laughed. I hope the manager reads this review and does something to increase the serving size of this dish, or at least lower the price to match what you get.

I’ve tried several dishes and sushi and haven’t been disappointed. My favorites are the tekka don and pan stir fried noodles. Their miso soup is light and flavorful, one of the best around town. They also have ramen soup, which only comes in pork. While it is tasty I wish it came with a chicken, shrimp or vegetable option. Staff is friendly and attentive. The place is small and sometimes when it is packed it can be a little difficult to have a quiet conversation.

It’s lasted in nashua for a good reason — its consistently good. Best pad Thai in the area. The main course dishes are all unique and delicious. The lunch prices can’t be beat. Best bento boxes in town. Sushi is good for sure. I don’t feel their sushi stands out compared to others in the area. Staff is always helpful and very nice. Prices are reasonable(lunch is beyond reasonable A++) Atmosphere is fine. It’s always clean. The bar is small but offers a few high tops as well as bar seating. There’s something on the menu for everyone.

We tried this place because of the 3+ reviews here and because friends had mentioned enjoying it. We should have stayed home. The experience overall was really middle of the road at best. The sushi was OK… some of ti was pretty good, some of it was pretty bad. The calamari we had as an appetizer was good, not great. The service was really bad. There wasn’t a single thing we wanted to order that did not require us to chase our waitress down. At the end of the mean, we dropped $ 150 for four people. For that we could have done a ton better.

Excellent Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup! I wish I could comment about the dining experience, but I’ve only done take-out.

The best sushi restaurant around! My family and I went for New Year’s Eve dinner. All of the meals came out perfect. One person said it was the best Pad Tai they have ever had. I had the Manhattan and Caterpillar Rolls. Not only were they absolutely delicious but they were a work of art! The ambience is perfect and the service was stellar. I can’t say enough about how much I love You You’s!

Tonight, my parents and I dined in at You You Bistro. As you walk in, the bar is to the left and the dining room is to the right. The restaurant has a modern feel to it. In the dining room, it’s dimmed and there are dark green topped wooden tables and chairs. It’s perfect for parties of two or four. The staff was friendly and attentive. I’d give this place a 3.5 star for good service and good food! For drinks, my parents ordered hot sake and I ordered hot green tea. The Genmaicha was kind of strong. I liked how the teapot came steeped with loose tea leaves. My dad ordered Chicken Pad Thai(without the peanuts). I was surprised that it was not orange in color. The noodle dish came with shredded onions, small pieces of egg, bean sprouts, and tender cubes of chicken and was garnished with parsley. The dish had a strong sweet and sour taste to it — this was due to either the fish sauce or sweet vinegar. I ordered the Roasted Pork Ramen which was similar to instant ramen but better. The thin noodles came in a clear, light, and not salty broth and garnished with slices of lean pork and shredded spring onion. My mom ordered the Ok Dol Bi Bim Bap, which is rice with marinated slices of beef, assorted vegetables(spinach, shredded carrots, bean sprouts, zucchini, cabbage), and sunny side egg on top and served in traditional Korean hot stone pot. The beef could have been more tender and more rare!

Love it! Sushi is always fresh. The chicken satay is tdf and the peanut sauce — well, I buy a bucket to take home every time for my own kitchen creations. The shrimp and veg tempura offering arrives light, crispy, and tasty. The dumplings and spring rolls are really nice. The pad thai is spot on and the miso soup is divine. I like the ambiance and the service. It’s not super quick so if you plan on making it to a movie after dinner, allow ample time so you’re not stressed. Oh and don’t forget about the warm and cold sake offerings. mmm mmm good.

The sushi was okay. Fresh and decent flavor, but nothing special. No especially interesting rolls. It would have been a 4 star review. Except for Jonathan. Jonathan was a terrible server. Really terrible. Not new and nervous but incompetent and dismissive. I watched him walk a circuit around the sushi bar, through the kitchen, and around again without picking anything up or putting it down. I watched him lean against the wall and stare into space(several times in several places) while his tables were lacking drinks with empty plates. Everyone else on staff looked busy, constantly running drinks and food, even the hostesses were busy making change and doing takeout orders. But no, not Jonathan. There was a half an hour gap between when our first roll came out, and the next time we saw Jonathan. He told us the sushi chef was backed up(which happens) and left without taking our empty plates, or apologizing, or refilling my empty water glass. I really hope it was an off night.

Very delicious for japanese food in New Hampshire. I was quite surprised, and glad a new acquaintance took us there. Some notable things: Fresh, FRESH, FRESHHHHHHH Sashimi! Very surprised by the quality! Also, their rolls are very tasty as well — get their Spicy Tuna Special Roll(not on the menu — just ask the waitress, she should know what you want). It’s a perfect blend of spicy and crunchy flavors and textures. Second, their Bimbimbap — their sauce is home-made, and veryyyy delicious! One thing that was strange was that their beef was in large slices, not shredded. Different for me(I prefer shredded for my bimbimbap), but still tasty — reminded me of jerky. Third, their décor. Extremely eye-catching with a heavy japanese theme. I really enjoyed it, it was very tranquil. The lighting was also appropriately low, with oil wicks lighted at each table. One advice for the restaurant — it’s time to get some new glasses. My water glass had many signs of use(cracks from use over time at various areas), and I noticed many of the other glasses at my table showed other various signs of use. This could be a classy place, with a few minor adjustments. Keep improving!
