Great venue! I’ve seen several bands play and they always sound great! I love the chicken wings! My only wish is that they’d have assigned seats! It’s a real drag having to get there an hour or more before the doors even open to stand in line outside to get a seat. I’d pay a little extra to have an assigned seat!

WOW! Watching the Time Jumpers jam after a $ 13 prime rib meal is hard to beat. This is an absolute must see on a Monday night in Nashville.

What and interesting spot. Like most places in Nashville the non-descript exterior hides a warm, fun filled environment on the inside. Since the name of the place is also it’s cross streets, if you can’t find this place, you have had too much to drink and need to go home. With that said, the musical performance by The Time Jumpers is sure to bring smiles to those familiar with archetypal southern favorites and newbies alike. The crowd is a mix of Nashville locals, travelers and a few younger people like me. Everyone was friendly. The food is basically upgraded bar food with some good entrees as well. I felt like a patty melt tonight and damn was it good. The menu indicated«Angus beef» and it was and epic combination of sautéed onions, Swiss and rye. Fries have some sort of seasoned salt but there is something really good about them that I can’t identify. My partner in crime had the prime rib dinner which was also very good. Parking is slightly better than most places in Nashville with a few nearby businesses not needing their parking lots at night. Bring a Mini Cooper to fit in small places. Also get here early if you want a decent table, or a table at all for that fact. Some friendly stranger indicated she paid someone to be here at 5 to secure her a front row table by the stage. That’s dedication people.

I dislike having to give only 2 stars, I really do because the venue is great! The Staff is AWESOME, funny and had a great sense of humor. The service was really top notch and the bar tab at the end of the night was mind-blowing to me in a very good way… So why the 2 star review… Welp. Simple. BLOWNSPEAKER Stage right(left if facing the stage) hanging stack middle speaker in my ear all night kind of ruined my boogie time for my favorite band that I traveled 2000 miles to see. Even the band was pissed for the first few songs because the sound tech didn’t get it dialed in. Bad form. It is what it is, i’ll for sure go back and when I do, if the issue is corrected(I highly suspect it will be) I’ll rewrite my review. See ya next year.

Great show and venue. Food was great and we had a really nice server. Only problem was that the prime rib sandwich was sooooo salty that it was inedible. After one bite, my mouth felt like I had just gargled with salt water. Seriously, no exaggeration. Sampler platter was amazing though.

Update: once we became familiar with the drill this has become one of our favorite places in Nashville with top-notch entertainment and reasonably-priced menu offerings. That said for a 9:00PM Monday night Time Jumpers show we arrive at 5:00 PM to get in line for the doors open at 5:30 and we want to be assured of a decent seat. We have found the same people attend the show week after week and it been very pleasant to visit with them. Most times we’ve shared our table with others and have met some very interesting and friendly folks.

Great find for live music in Nashville. The only difficulty was finding the place, since it was dark and in a fairly industrial part of town. Bobby Long was playing live that night and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. What a great live music spot with ample seating!

This place is awesome! Went to see Natalie Stovall and the Drive, the sound was amazing! Only issue was we never got a menu or even asked if we wanted a drink… everyone around us got service but no one even looked at us… I would come back though! :)

Been here a few times to see the Time Jumpers(q.v.). and Tim Akers’ Smoking Section(q.v.) There was food and booze. The music was so good I can’t remember what I ate or drank, but I remember it didn’t suck, in fact I think I thought it was pretty good. Seating is way tight, but again, no tighter than seats at any concert hall. What I remember distinctly is that I had a rollicking good time each time I was here, and I can’t wait to get back. When in Nashville, put this place on your list. It’s as good as it gets.

This is a great venue for an intimate live show. There was ample free parking, great service, and a terrific, clean house sound system. Not too loud and mixed just right. There is also ample table seating both upstairs and down with a variety of solid sight lines. I highly recommend this spot for a mature, enjoyable concert experience. We saw The Waterboys tonight and it goes down as as unforgettable gig.

First time here, wasn’t sure what to expect. Got there and all the tables were taken and saved. People were eating and looking around at one another. I got there and leaned against the bar, looking around, looking for an available seat. Bartenders were pleasant and asked me if I needed anything. So no problem getting a drink, if I wanted one. The lights went down and I saw an available seat at a table with a couple of men. Went and asked them if I could share the table with them. All night long, during the concert, the waitress was there asking if anyone needed anything. She was prompt and constantly within view. So no problem with table service. It’s a great venue. Plenty of tables and chairs, everyone got a good view of the large stage, acoustics were perfect… volume wasn’t screeching loud. It was perfect. Price of the ticket was $ 20. No drink minimum. I loved my seat, I loved the venue, it wasn’t too big, wasn’t too small… I will be back! And just so everyone knows… no problem coming to the club, solo. It’s safe. I had no problems. And after the concert, there must have been a dozen taxis outside waiting. Safe neighborhood, as well! I will return!

We got to the venue at 10:30. Being out-of-towners, we didn’t know what time the band would start and finish. So, we walked in the front door and the doorman asked if we had tickets, which we didn’t. He said that’ll be$ 20. We really wanted to see The Steeldrivers, but were hesitant to spend $ 20 each if the show was half way over. The doorman(Nelly) insisted that they had just started their first set, so we decided to go on in. By the time we got a drink and found a table, the band finished and the place was cleared out! 10:50. The waitress agreed that it was ridiculous that we had just been coaxed into paying $ 20 for the tail end of the show and that we should go see Nelly to express our concern. When I mentioned it to him, he just laughed and said, «well, they didn’t take a break.» I said, «you told us they had just started.» He shrugged. We left unhappy. Nelly is a liar.

I’ve got no good reason to not add the 5th star. We attended the Sturgill Simpson concert last night. The place was JAMMED with people. Sturgill sold out two nights and if you haven’t heard him… get on that right away. The servers stayed on top of everything and we didn’t have to wait very long for dinner or refills. Dinner by the way was really good! I’m always surprised at how tasty the food is at 3rd& Lindsley because I’m never expecting anything other than bar food. I had prime rib, which I never order but wanted for some reason. It was good. It was the sides though that impressed me the most. I was totally expecting frozen broccoli but you could tell it was fresh and NOT mushy! Same with the small salad… very tasty and fresh. Also worth mentioning is the clean restrooms. Seriously, with crowds that size you could expect a disaster waiting but they are always clean. Free parking and plenty of warnings to not fall for the guys trying to con you to pay for parking. It’s a great, small venue and we will be back many times.

Where to begin? For starters: They don’t allow smoking! Thank the Good Lord & Baby Jesus. For the con’s: Let me put this early in the review — do NOT go for the food. It is all microwaved/deep fried FREEZER food from Sam’s Club. It. Is. Terrible. Sure the prices aren’t horrendous, but the food IS. The cheese sticks are straight up the«Farm Rich» ones from the green and white freezer bag. Yeah, you know the ones I’m talking about. Pre-packaged, not fresh burgers. Even the waitress said nothing was made in-house. Everything is from cans, bags, and came out of the freezer. All the other review are correct also, the service is SLOWWWW. They also got our order wrong twice. For the pro’s however: The venue is very neat. Used to be a TON smaller, and it appears in the last few years they’ve bought the place next door and knocked out a whole wall, doubling their size and moving the stage out another 30 – 40 foot. This is a cool place to come watch talented acts on a super small stage. Decent seating from the floor, ok seating in the balcony sections, however if you get the wrong table on either side, you’ll be looking at the speaker boxes all night. All-in-all, very neat, small, and intimate venue to see true Nashville talent and artists for a pittance of a price. Go!(Just eat before or after the show…)

What a cool place for a concert! It has that perfect«Nashville» feel too! There is upper/balcony seating, room by the bar, and a lower pit area that puts you very close to the band performing. My friend and I went for an Echosmith concert and we had a great time! I really enjoyed the venue itself and parking nearby was only $ 5(on a Thursday). I will definitely be looking for more shows at this location.

Loved this place, only been once, but it was almost a Holy experience. Coming in from Knoxville, treating my sister to a birthday concert in the form of seeing Chris Whitley live. I’m a huge Chris Whitley fan and saw him years back kill it at a show in St. Louis. On the way into town, my sister’s car broke down, but we still made it to the show. What could have been an awful experience turned into a great one because everybody we encountered took good care of us and displayed true hospitality, patrons and staff alike. This is a small, intimate venue for serious music lovers. I didn’t know this at the time, but Chris Whitley was dying from lung cancer and would pass away only a few months later. This place has, or at least had soul the last time I was there. Gotta hit it up again soon!

Love this venue. We came here tonight for the first time and we were so happy. The service was great, there is seating upstairs and downstairs(upstairs has a better view of the stage) — there is also a section for those who want to stand in front of the stage. While waiting for our show to start, we decided to order dinner. I ordered a burger and salad and my boyfriend had fish and chips. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t that great. Salad was pretty much lettuce and a ton of bacon bits. Although we weren’t fans of the food, our waitress was awesome and always checking on us to make sure we were taken care of. We plan on coming here again. The staff was great and the venue wasn’t huge so you could really enjoy the music you were listening to. Highly recommend checking out a show here!

A must-visit for locals and tourists alike. I’ve seen several shows here – it’s ALWAYS packed. Decent beer selection and okay food assortment, but you’re not coming here for a meal. The acoustics were great for the shows I’ve seen here. Parking can be annoying(random people standing out in what appears to be a business lot, charging $ 6-$ 10), but what can you do? Welcome to Nashville. I love coming here. I’d definitely recommend you make it out too. Dive-y, but a classic Nashville haunt.
