This is a good place to take friends who are in town. They have a nice roof and a variety of options on each floor. I’d imagine it’s a good place to meet hot babes when you’re out partying too.

BEST fried chicken sandwich that has EVER touched my lips! That alone gets my 5 stars. The atmosphere was great offering wide open spaces with«living room» seating for all of our friends to gather before a show at Bridgestone Arena. There are tons(and I mean tons) of televisions so you will never miss a beat on a sporting event. The bartenders and wait staff was super friendly. It’s not often easy to put up with 17 slightly intoxicated women from Memphis but they pulled it off! BTW — I will be back for that chicken sandwich!

Great dancing music– yes hip hop. And lovely live music(duh!) to ease into. Drinks were alright, but vibe was super fun!

This place has the worst service in Nashville. We had a table of 10 people and our waitress(2 different ones) almost never showed up through the 2.5 hours we were there. When asking for our bill we waited for like 20 min on someone to try to help us, when one of the waitress was told to split the check she said she couldn’t do it since it wasn’t her table(even though she did serve our table) and she said we would have to wait for our server” … So another 20min wait??? No way … Don’t waste your time on this place they don’t value customers who are the ones keeping them on business !!!

Came on a Sunday during brunch hours and they had live music set. The vibe was fun and relaxing and the music was great! Ordered a hot chicken sandwich and it came out pretty quick after they put the order in. The sandwich was flavorful and the pickles were perfect. I should I have asked for extra pickles since it makes the sandwich more tasty. They had a rack of sauces on the counter that had unique flavors. My favorite was the Texas ketchup, it was a mixture of BBQ sauce and ketchup and spices that was pure bliss.

I don’t normally write reviews because anywhere I go to with high reviews on Unilocal is worth it, but this was the worst service I’ve ever experience.(And I travel a lot). Our server completely ignored us and had a horrible attitude. The place wasn’t even crowded. There are so many great places in Nashville, so don’t waste your time here. If I could review 0 stars I would have. So disappointed. Never coming back.

Acme was the worst dining experience I had in Nashville. The food wasn’t that bad, it was the atmosphere and the whole process. But I’ll get to the food later. We walked in and were greeted and handed menus. We were told to order on the first floor and the food would be brought out to us. Now we weren’t totally sure what to get but as a line formed behind us we just picked the plain cheeseburger and paid to get out of the way. We were given beverage cups and directed towards a water pitcher. Then we started looking for seats. There were plenty of people who had finished and were just lounging to enjoy the live music, but that meant no seats for us. Halfway across the dining room as I walked some guy came up and handed me a try with my cheeseburger and fries. Now I had to find a table while carrying my food. We tried upstairs but there were no seats there. We had to keep going up the four flights of stairs, and found chairs next to the party speakers. Look, Acme is fine if you want to sit around a watch live music, or the game on one of their MANY TVs.

This place has a great atmosphere in the heart of downtown Nashville. We sat in the second floor and ate sushi which was surprisingly good! We tried to come back at night but the line was way too long. I’ll be back to try some more of their foods.

Large, open space makes this one of the best places to listen to live music. well lit, huge bars, several places to sit, or dance on the dance floor. Don’t forget to check out the other levels.

Great place to eat and listen to live music. This restaurant is located all the way at the end of Broadway near 1st. We stopped in during battle of the bands and snagged two spots at the bar. If you pick a table you have to go to a counter to order food and drinks-no table service. But at the bar it’s a one stop shop. We ordered our drinks and the bartender was super friendly and made some recommendations for us. For dinner we ordered the tacos and the short rib pot roast. Both were amazing. The pot roast I could have eaten for days it was that good. We ended up not staying too long after dinner because the music wasn’t out speed but the ambience is great.

We asked a server at Brugada(hookah bar) where we should end our 1st night in Nashville, and she told us Acme. What a great choice. This place is the huge building at the end of broadway. It was getting late and the line was pretty long. The place has many floors and has got something for everyone. There was a line down the stairs to get to the top floor, and what a surprise we were in for! The top floor was sort of a rooftop party. The Music on this top floor was strictly hip hop with a DJ, and everyone was into it, it was amazing. It was so fun we ended our 2nd night here as well. No doubt one of my favorite bars during our trip!

We came here on a Sunday night and it was busy but not packed. Perfect evening to listen to a band and have a drink. It’s where a lot of the locals go for a drink and it’s down the end of Broadway away from the ruckus and drunken lunatics in the other bars. Lots of options for beers and that’s definitely their speciality. They have food there and it looked nice but I didn’t have any. Great atmosphere and great live bands. Go here if you’re in town.

I feel like I wrote this review already, but Unilocal tells me otherwise. So, I’ll try not to half ass it since Acme deserves the 5 stars. Well, Dennis, the bartender, deserves 5 stars. TL;DR version: Go for brunch, drink blood marys and mimosas, eat anything on the menu. Sure, the place next door has an unlimited mimosa special, but make sure you take a good look at that special. The mimosas are made with LOW end champagne and the food isn’t that great. Then, consider Acme with a Bloody Mary’s at $ 9 and mimosas at $ 6. With Good pours with quality liquor. You would have to drink at least 5 mimosas before the unlimited paid off, and you’d feel that low end champagne the next day. Also at Acme, you get QUALITY service at the bar and quality food. We visited on a Sunday for a boozy brunch and my group had a couple ALT + B + E sandwiches, a damn good, and(mine) the Co-Op add pork. Everything was delicious and perfect. As for that service from Dennis? He was pretty new to the Nashville bar tending scene, but he was a seasoned bartender. He knows how to handle his customers and earn his gratuity. He sorted out a deal for us to have a dedicated nice bottle of champagne for our group’s mimosas and let me choose the vodka I wanted for my bloody mary, without changing the price. This was my 3rd trip to Nashville. On my previous 2 trips I walked into Acme, felt a bit overwhelmed and didn’t stay. Don’t make that mistake. Go here on your first trip or your next trip.

As a a bar, I would say this isn’t my favorite place(maybe the best spot on broadway) but their lunch is dynamite(get it?) I am absolutely obsessed with the brisket sandwich and mac and cheese. I don’t think I have ever had a better brisket. They DO have sweet potato fries, which are pretty delicious and I would suggest swapping out the regular fries for the orangey goodness. Now, as I mentioned, this is not my favorite bar, but it definitely has some perks if youre on Broadway. Unlike the other multi-story bars downtown, this one ACTUALLY utilized the three floors for different atmospheres. Bottom floor is live music, second floor is(an attempt) at a cocktail bar, and the third floor is a DJ. Definitely a lot of variety and there is something to please anyone in your group… unless you’re with the Grinch.

Ended up here twice during my recent trip to Nashville. First time was just for drinks, and second time we came back for food since our Über driver had recommended it. So for the first visit of drinks, we mainly stuck to the first floor. We were able to get a seat at one of the big long tables and really enjoyed the doo-wop sorta band that was playing! Even though the place was packed, we were still able to get drinks relatively quickly. And bonus points for having all those water dispensers readily available for everyone — I’m surprised I haven’t seen this in more bars, but it certainly helps to be able to just grab a water quickly without having to bug a bartender. We did stop up on the second floor to check it out and there wasn’t a band playing — it was more like a lounge type thing, which wasn’t what we were looking for. Attempted to go to the roofdeck but saw there was a cover because it was Basic Friday(LOLNOTHANKYOU). So back down to the first floor we went :) Ok so our Über driver the next day suggested Acme for food so we thought sure, we didn’t get food there the night before. To our delight, when we walked in, it was actually a Soul Brunch! They handed us paper menus which had different stuff than what was on the board — just a tiny bit bummed because I wanted something on the board, but no biggie. We ended up grabbing another big table right next to the stage and watched this soul dude just rock out — so much fun! The food was friggin awesome! I had some bowl dish that had beans, plantains, pork, fried eggs, etc and came with this delicious cole slaw on the side which was the perfect complement to some of the spicy sauces! For drinks or food ORBOTH, Acme is definitely an awesome spot to check out!

***Reviewing Acme as a night club/bar. I did not eat any food here*** I love this place! Great music, different vibes and lots of interesting people. Regardless of the type of night you are wanting to have, Acme is the perfect place that has a dynamic energy and a great view of Nashville. I came here on a Friday night with about ten friends, and we had an absolute blast! Each level is a little bit different, we spent the majority of our time on the roof. So Acme in general doesn’t have a cover charge, but the roof top portion is five bucks. Totally worth it, I promise! If you want to dance, go to the rooftop, that’s where is DJ is and they play all the dance music. I feel like sometimes in Nash it’s hard to find places where people are actually dancing(other than play and the country bars), but I think i’ve found my spot for when I need my dancing fix. Drinks were average priced, 8 dollars for an amaretto sour. The only downside of this bar, is that you have to walk four flights of stairs down at the end of the night. If you’ve had one too many, it might make it a bit difficult. Overall, I loved this place and will most certainly be going back!

Co workers and I decided to end the night here at Acme. There was live music when we walked in, which was nice. For a Wednesday night, there was a good crowd in there! Everyone was pretty lively, especially with the fun song covers the band was playing. We went to the rooftop(which on the 3rd or 4th floor, I don’t remember) which was great because Acme is located at the end of Broadway, giving a great view of «NashVegas» and the river. It had just stopped raining so the view was not only beautiful but crystal clear. We were enjoying our beers, until the bartenders started going around saying«last call» for drinks needed to be ordered. I think the bar on the rooftop closes early(I remember leaving the bar around 10:30pm) but the main bar on the first floor was still open all night. Overall, it was a cool and chill bar! I would definitely come back.

I only had a few glasses of wine, so I can’t comment on the food, but the ambiance was great! It’s a beautiful, open place with a lot of seating in a casual and fun atmosphere. They have several bars to sit at as well as tables upstairs and downstairs… I did peruse the menu and they had a little bit of something for everyone. Burgers, appetizers, salads, delicious mac and cheese as well desserts. They have full bar with local beers, wines, and fun cocktails. The service was fantastic!!! They offer a neat little gift shop. Location is great. Right on Broadway and close to various other bars, honkey tonks and the football stadium. I’ll be back!!!

This might be local food located on Broadway, but I didn’t think it was the greatest place to eat. Granted, I tried the fried catfish and my friend that had the cheesy grits and shrimp loved it, but still. When you come in, it’s pay at the register. So the wait for the food is obscenely short. You then seat yourself. Here’s the problem, that short wait attracts way more customers than there are tables and bar stools. There’s an upstairs that requires you go up four flights of stairs with very little additional seating. Most people up there were also standing around holding their food. There was live music, to be expected in Nashville. But the volume was pumped out so loud I could barely think. The speakers for the small outdoor seating area were still a bit over done. The porch had a good view of the waterway, but it’s also subject to a lot of homeless people. What really killed the evening for me was when a homeless guy jumped the fence to eat the recently vacated table next to us to eat the leftover food.

3.5 stars… And really these stars are only for the rooftop bar! My friends and I were visiting Nashville for the first time and wanted a rooftop bar for drinks around sunset. This place was perfect for that. The rooftop bar is very nice and has almost a 180 degree view of the city — amazing view! However, the drinks were just ok, and the bartenders were rude. I saw other reviews about the bartenders not being the best and was surprised to see it was true. What’s the deal?! I can’t comment about the food either. The other levels of the Acme looked very cool as well. The place is huge! 4 stories! You could definitely host some amazing parties here. Overall, I would probably come back for the view/rooftop if there wasn’t a better option.
