Yup, it’s a drug testing center alright and they must take their work very seriously because the guy who did my test had ZERO personality and was not friendly at all. Whatever. I was only there to take a pre-​employment test for a company.
If you’ve never been to a drug testing center it may be a little bit of a shocker at first. I signed in and took a seat in the lobby. The first problem, I waited 45 minutes to just piss in a cup and there was only 1 other person waiting with me in the lobby. Why the delay? I was about ready to piss all over the lobby by time they called me back. I followed the worker into this little room where I filled out a form and had to empty my pockets into a lock box. You’re then handed a cup and told to enter the bathroom and fill it up to the line. They allowed me to close the door behind me but the guy still stayed within ear-​shot of the door. After a minute, I was told that my time was up and I needed to finish up ASAP. I complied, exited and handed the cup over. It was transferred to a sealed container and I had to intial the container to show I was present the whole time. They then sealed it in a bag and said they would ship it to the lab. I was told «That’s all, you’re done.» and left.
It wasn’t a bad experience but it wasn’t a pleasant one either. I had the feeling as if as soon as I walked in the door, they labeled me as a drug user and I got no respect. I ended up passing my test after waiting 3 days for the results. I hope I NEVER have to go back to any drug testing center again.
