A wonderful salon experience I enjoy the friendly staff and the professional services every time I come In.
I have been a client for years and enjoy each time I come in. its always comfortable and always a great conversation going on. a treat for anyone to try out.

Francis Mashburn is the only person in this town I trust to cut my hair. Everyone at Colors is super nice and very pleasant, but I would follow her wherever she chose to cut hair, that just so happens to be and has been for quite a few years now, Colors Salon.

I LOVE COLORS! Chloe has been doing wonderful things with my hair for over 7 years. She saved me from a self-​coloring disaster way back in college, and I have been with her ever since. She recently referred my friend Katie to her mother for a BEAUTIFUL 40’s style updo for her wedding day. They were both SO excited! The salon is in a nice, quiet, easy-​to-​find neighborhood with plenty of parking. They have a cute little covered deck in the back, if you want to take a little break outside while your hair is processing. The same staff are ALWAYS there, so it’s like having a second family! I never have trouble getting an appointment that is convenient for my schedule. The best thing, in my opinion, is Chloe has a knack for knowing what I want/​need, and tells me the truth when I bring her a picture of what I want that is impossible for my hair;) Also, I would recommend for men… they have men & women stylists and there is almost always a man or two in there. It’s a very casual atmosphere.

Imagine the movie Steel Magnolias: Dolly Parton’s character owns a beauty salon, now have it owned by French immigrants and you’ve got Colors. It has a very small town feel with lots of conversation and a sense of family. Each stylist has their own specialty so you might want to inquire for your specific want when you call. Personally I think Chloe is the greatest stylist in town; she is fantastic at finding the right cut for you and does awesome color (she’s dyed my hair almost every color). The salon is in an old converted house in Berry Hill and there are only four or five parking spots but I’ve never been there when they were full. Also, their sign is no longer standing, the only identifying mark is the mailbox with Colors painted on its side. It’s closed Sundays and Mondays as well.
