So, their chocolate peanut butter pie left a lot to be desired… Like actual pie crust. And obviously they have no control over their customers… However, they are incredibly rude. Not a child friendly restaurant. But, the kids loved their cookies.

This bakery has amazing French baguettes. Seriously. Their breads, in general, are delicious. They have a small selection of breakfast and lunch items. I had an egg sandwich with avocado and it was ok, nothing to write home about. It was something I could have whipped up in no time for ¼ the cost. The service was also OK. The pastries, although they look amazing are also ok-good. I had the chocolate croissant and I prefer the ones at Au Bön Pain. And, I really want to like these ones more because this is a local bakery. I’ll be back for the bread.

Never disappoints! Love this place for weekend brunch solo or with the family. Hands down the best baguettes in town and all the«sweet treats»(cookies, muffins etc) are always on point!

Seriously good bakery and a savior for Nashville pastry! Excellent basics such as croissants — wonderful flaky crust and just the kind of layered, buttery insides you remember from your trip to France(which makes sense, because I hear the woman who runs the place worked in France and brought back that huge computerized oven you can see in action behind the big glass wall). Chocolate croissants, kouign aman(which I now know how to pronounce — first word very similar to ‘queen’), bread, baguettes(which I now now how to spell), peacan bars, and muffins all very very good. The breakfast items and sandwiches are also excellent. I guess I’m outing how frequently we’ve been there. On the muffins, I usually don’t much like muffins but theirs have this nice crisp sugary top that provides an often-lacking texture to them. I really hope some of the long-standing Nashville bakeries send some people here if they haven’t already. Are you listening Provence? Seriously. Between friends. You gotta up your game. These folks and Village Bakery in the farmers market are setting some standards. The lines are rarely too long there, and one can almost always places to sit, although a couple of times we’ve gotten in just before a big line formed, and have felt the need to give up our seats on the weekend(although the excellent and friendly staff would never dream of hurrying you). If they keep up the good work, you’ll want to be mindful about when you go, although its never an issue during the week. Prices are very reasonable so long as you realize this is hand-made stuff that takes some real skills, and simply cannot be mass produced and shipped anywhere. Like from the«largest artisan bakery in middle TN», even if it’s «shipped daily»… Provence? You listening? Hopefully the addition of real baked goods to Nashville will at least clue you in to the irony in your own web page…

Soooo nice! Bakery items look amazing. Service is very friendly. Bacon cheddar scone is peppery, and blueberry muffin is to die for.

This is such a cute little place! I love the simplicity of the shop and the décor. It is a perfect little place to stop for some pastries and coffee. I love that the Airbnb we are staying at is so close! I came in for a quick breakfast and coffee run. I was quite tempted to get one of everything especially since I’m not from here. Everything just looked amazing and tasty and I just wanted to try everything! The creama coffee is so good! I usually need to put cream and sugar in all my coffee but I can honestly drink this black! So delish! I ordered the egg sandwich with avocado(additional $ 1) and it was just amazing! The pesto spread adds the perfect amount of flavor to the sandwich. I got a chocolate croissant and blueberry muffin for my friends. The pastries you get right away since it is already premade. I think the egg sandwich they make everything fresh so there was a bit of a wait on that. Everything was quite delicious and it was devoured by the hangry fiends with a quickness once I came back with the goodies!

YUM! Dozen is my FAVORITE! I’m a sucker for a ham croissant and theirs are fabulous. Big, fluffy, buttery(but not greasy), and there’s some stone-ground mustard in there, which is just perfect with the ham and cheese! And that little bit of cheese that oozes out when they back and turns into a little crispy cheese skirt on the side?! Don’t even get me started! The chocolate croissants are delicious too. Dozen is where I stop when we have people in from out of town staying at the house and I want to treat them. Delicious and worth every penny!

First time here. Arrived around 7:30am on a Saturday hoping for a breakfast sandwich. However, I was informed that they only start serving breakfast items at 8am. Ended up waiting till 8am to get breakfast. My husband and I had two breakfast sandwiches, two coffees, a muffin, and croissant which ended costing around $ 30. Pricey in my opinion but thats Nashville for ya. Everything was tasty; however, I left still hungry. :(

I was seriously craving a peanut butter cookie. Being that I’m no baker I went out in search of one. Dozen Bakery is located just off 8th Ave and Wedgewood area. I had never been to the spot before and it was cool to see some other great spots(Gabby’s Burgers). The building is clean and big. They also have some fantastic outdoor seating. They had plenty of sweets and bread selections. I got my peanut butter cookie and a Snickerdoodle for good measure. The pb cookie was yummy. A little crumbly and dry but it had a great flavor and satisfied my craving. The Snickerdoodle was also a bit dry but still delicious. From my glance around the other tables it seems they have lunch items as well. I may have to come back and give that a try!

Dozen is our absolute go-to, we’ve probably been here 20+ times since they opened. First of all, the baguettes are amongst the best, anywhere. Croissants are great, as are the muffins(we are big fans of all the different kinds). Try the cookies, they aren’t just cookies but rather very good cookies. The space is very pleasant, modern without being stark. Plus you can watch the baking through a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, which is a lot of fun!

If your looking for a bakery, the Dozen Bakery is the bomb! Very modern in appearance but the baked goods are as good or better than grandma’s! Scones are soft and moist on the inside and a bit of crunch on the outside. Cookies are big and better than homemade. The bread looked amazing, if I wasn’t going out of town I would had that too! Lol. It’s s bit out of the way but worth the trip. So as the title says, Dozen Bakery, because less than that will not work!

Our Air B&B hostess claimed this is the best bakery in the area. While I didn’t try them all, the scones, muffins and croissants were outstanding. Beware, they serve only brewed coffee and tea, no cappuccino etc. But the lunch menu looks also wonderful. With freshly made sandwiches and tartines make me wish I was staying in the area long enough to come back for lunch. I will definitely come back when I return in May.

If you’re looking for a bread bakery for pretzels and scones this is good option. When you walk into the cute little shop you’re greeted by the smell of fresh bread and the sour? aftertaste of a hot oven. I don’t know if that means it is smoky, but I do know that you may have a «hot bread oven» scent on you when you leave. There’s a hipster gentleman behind the counter, see through glass to be wowed by the baking process, and a line of intimate marble topped tables leading to the back of the restaurant. This is really one of those cute bakeries that you’ll find on Instagram. The food is good, but not worth driving out of your way for. I ordered a coffee and cornmeal cherry scone. My partner ordered a chocolate chip cookie. It is great if you’re grabbing a bite after leaving Nash Craft or Zeitgeist.(Surprisingly there is 0 artwork in the bakery, even though it’s has 2 art galleries next to it.) Glad I stopped by.

I had a lunch meeting with a friend here, and I enjoyed the great parking and fact that they were not crazy busy. For a breakfast coffee meeting, I can see how this place would be amazing and hazardous to your diet. For a lunch meeting, your choices are limited but tasty — just not somewhere that I’d care to become a regular. For sandwiches, your choices are either open face(tartaline) or on a baguette. Sure, it’s cute, trendy, and fun to sound French… but for me, eating a baguette hurts my mouth. Sorry. They are also very limited on beverages — the fancy Pelligrino waters, Crema coffee, but just coffee — they can’t do the fancy stuff… and that’s it. The sweets were awesome, five stars in that area for sure. Yummy moist brown and blonde brownie… if my new healthier eating plan allowed it, I’d definitely be back in for one of those. Overall though, it’s OK and has some high points, just not going to make my top ten list anytime soon.

Can’t believe it took me so long to eat here! It was so delicious! As a vegetarian and a bread lover, this is my new favorite place :-) they have yummy salads and great breakfast sandwiches, and their baked goods are sinful and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and easy, a great place for a breakfast date or a lunch meeting. I love Dozen!

I love this place! A friend told me about it and I went to try it the next day. very minimalist interior, they have a working station behind the glass wall so you can see the machine working hard to make the bread. Ordered a sandwich, forgot the name, it had pesto and avocado in it, so delish. Got the scone as well, loved it. My friend had a ham and cheese which he said was great too.

I had been meaning to check out this highly recommended bakery for a long time and finally was able to visit on 12⁄19. What a treat! I picked up a couple lovely… and very reasonably priced… salads to bring to my nail tech as a Christmas lunch. Delicious! However, the real treat was the gorgeous Christmas cookies! I made a second trip a few days later to get more of them to use as gifts. This place is top notch and I hope to visit again soon to sample some of the delicious looking breakfasts! Great folks too!

Super fresh healthy and delicious salads that cost $ 3. Unbelievable. Great for breakfast, better for lunch, best for dessert. I love this place. Wish there was bicycle parking!

Great place! There were so many delicious choices we couldn’t decide. Ultimately the lemon Madeleine’s were amazing and the blueberry muffin was one of the best I’ve ever had. The snicker doodle cookie was good too. They don’t have a great coffee selection. Very basic and rather expensive… $ 3 for a plain, rather small glass of iced coffee. I’d go back and definitely recommend it. It’s a beautiful, clean place that’s very relaxing.

I don’t know how many days I’ve craved a chocolate silk pie and have not gotten to satisfy my craving because I couldn’t find a good one. My hips and thighs were probably thankful for that! Well, see you thighs and hips because I found a chocolate silk pie that I can’t put down! Last week my husband and I celebrated 8 years of marriage so we went out to eat but then just wanted to go home and eat dessert then take a nice long walk with our dog. We stopped by Dozen Bakery to see what they had, just hoping for a nice cookie or brownie to share. Then I saw it, a chocolate silk pie. I read the reviews for the lavender lemon pie, saying it was incredible, but the chocolate silk kept calling my name. I chose it. My husband asked if I wanted to share it. We almost celebrated our 8 years of marriage and our divorce in the same day. No I don’t want to share pie!!! Who does that?! So he got his own and we are still happily married. We went home and sat outside with our dog and I thought I could just take a couple bites of pie so that I could savor it for a few days. Nope. I’m naïve to think that I have any will power over pie, especially when it’s this good. I downed the whole thing and then looked over to see if my husband still had any that I could steal. His was gone as well. Smart thinking on his part. We will be back and I will try that lavender lemon pie at some point, but only if they are out of chocolate silk pie!

I can’t say enough about this place. It is simply wonderful. The madeleines, lemon squares, lemon lavender pie, and cookies are amazing. The ultimate dessert though is the pecan squares. Each bite is pure bliss — honey and brown sugar heaven. They also have salads and sandwiches at lunch which are fantastic too but the desserts are the main attraction. The space is modern, well-lot and airy, which makes dining in a real pleasure.

Excited to have this place in my neighborhood. Best baked goods in Nashville. They also have Crema coffee, lunch sandwiches and salads, and my goodness are they crafty and delicious. Just opened. I’ll update with more info as I visit more often, but just wanted to get a quick review in. Visit this place!
