It’s a great place to eat. The roasted cauliflower mixed with different sauces that go with it. I had fish(I don’t remember the name but flesh is very similar to sea bass), it was well prepared and flavorful throughout the flesh. On thing though, I ordered tea to begin and I had continuously to keep asking my server for a straw in order to drink it. My friend was sipping his cosmo and was already half way through with his drink when finally my server brought me straw to get a taste of my tea. I don’t wanna experience that specially when one’s paying for an expensive meal. That was my first time there and I will probably come back because the food was good…

Roasted cauliflower and tempura mushroom appetizers were delicious. Smoked turkey Sammie was fun and creative. The cauliflower was the best thing I had on the menu. Only went for lunch. Dinner has to be amazing because lunch at Etch is divine.

Skip the cauliflower and get the tempura mushrooms! I’ve had both and will only dream about the mushrooms from this day forward. The two accompanying sauces(ponzu and spicy mayo) were also awesome! That’s actually what I like the most about the cauliflower is the sauces so now I have an item I love AND the sauces! My friend had the Latin Salad that she swears by and I had the Thai Shrimp salad which was unbelievable. Everything was cold and very fresh and the portion sizes were big! I could only eat half of my salad because I ate too many of those darn mushrooms, but about 4 hours later I was polishing off my salad. I feel bad that I haven’t been back here from almost 3 years ago… now I get it! And NOW is when I/we should be supporting them. With the Bridgestone building going up next door I feel like they are currently off the beaten path, but it will be worth your trip if you have to cross the road a few times to get there!!!

We didn’t have reservations and we’re just looking for somewhere good to eat. Searched online for good restaurants close to our location and found this place. Since we didn’t have reservations they offered to sit us at the chef counter. This was definitely the best restaurant we’d been to during our first trip to Nashville and the best meal we’ve had in a long time. Different than anything else I’d had. The blend of flavours was unusual yet just worked. Besides the food the atmosphere was great and sitting at the chef counter made it for a very entertaining meal. My wife had the roasted cauliflower and the scallops. I had the mussels and grilled lamb loin. And we finished off by sharing the ice cream Sunday. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back on our next trip to Nashville.

Came to Etch for dinner and decided to sit at the kitchen bar. Very neat experience to sit and watch all the food orders being prepped! We’re able to speak with the sommelier, who was very personal and made us feel so welcomed! We order a few appetizers and out of all of them the zucchini was by far the best! I ordered the Venison chop which was really good but the star was the pork chop entrée! Unfortunately my boyfriend likes pork rare(def. recommend that temperature) and it came out over cooked BUT they were very apologetic and quick to make it right! They also offered us free dessert in which we choose the banana split dessert! So amazing! Definitely will be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone living or visiting Nashville!

We went there for our anniversary for this week and it was outstanding. This was our 4th or 5th time going to Etch and it never disappoints. The Don and Smoked Old Fashioned were very tasty drinks.(Both stiff so be careful) The octopus and shrimp app was maybe the best thing we had all night. My wife normally does not eat octopus but she loved this. The service was great. Nicole was on her game that night and we had a wonderful time. Anytime someone asks us for a recommendation on where to go for dinner Etch is usually one of the first restaurants out of our mouth. We have never had a bad meal or experience at Etch.

Had cocktails here prior to dinner. Bartender Paul was very attentive and gave several suggestions. The pork belly and cauliflower were excellent.

Excellent fare with a creative flare and layout! Becoming a Nashville institution, Etch continues to surprise with excellent service and fare. Brought to you by a female chef, the entrees and appetizers melt in your mouth. Try the roasted cauliflower for an amazing treat — if you are going solo, you can ask for a half order. The Butter Tasting appetizer is very popular. The grilled sirloin was cooked exactly right and very tasty. There is complimentary valet which very helpful given the construction all around the restaurant. If you stay at the Hilton Garden Inn or Hampton Inn you are just a block’s walking distance.

I am mainly writing this for vegans and vegetarians. My brother, his gf and I went to Etch the other night after they were given a gift card. Lovely atmosphere. I like the open kitchen concept and the waitstaff was very kind and knowledgable. They were also very excited about their restaurant. Enthusiasm is important. My 3 stars are for our lovely waitress and good drinks. I asked our waitress if there were any vegan options. She told me, «Yes of course. Get the trio de setas without Gouda.» So I ordered it. Listen to how complicated this is – porcini brûlée, tempura ancho butternut squash, braised leeks, red bean smash, portobello salad, smoked sage golden raisin vinaigrette, corn tortilla, smoked gouda, black olive mole, confit shiitake mushrooms, pozole red beet sauce. Cool. I thought. This seems awesome and interesting. My first bite tasted like Spanish food, the second like Asian, the third like Italian. What a confusing dish. There were so many different sauces on the plate and marinades on the vegetables that it became overwhelming to my palate and extremely rich. Couldn’t finish. I am all for being creative and using funky ingredients, but this dish missed the mark! The vegetables were also extremely soggy – so much oil(another vegan issue if you avoid fat). Texturally it was like baby food underneath all the greens covering the poo-colored mess in the middle. My meat eating brother and his omnivore gf’s dishes looked amazing and they raved all night. If you’re at a function with family or something that is an obligation, that is one thing. But if you are vegan and want to try out a popular Nashville restaurant – avoid this place! There is really only one item on the menu and your tastebuds will be mad at you.

We got here early, so we sat at the bar for cocktails and an appetizer. The bartenders were friendly and helped us pick out something delicious. The pork belly was delicious, the ginger and beet sauce was my favorite. We ordered the pork and filet for dinner and both were cooked to perfection though the pork was my favorite. We also tried the cauliflower appetizer and it was pretty tasty but I preferred the pork belly.

Over the years I’ve come to the realization that I have to avoid restaurants so close to Lower Broadway. My experience at Etch was for a lack of words«just okay. Most of it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault — just a matter of circumstances that seemed to affect my dining experience and left me feeling let down in the end. My wife and I walked in a tad early for our reservation. The hostess was welcoming and asked if we wanted to sit at the bar for a bit and have a drink. I said yes — she grabbed our menus and took us to our table. Maybe I said yes too softly. No biggie. Our server took a very long time to come to us, but it wasn’t his fault as he was with the table next to us and they wouldn’t stop talking to him. Tourists from Texas who wouldn’t let him leave. He kept eyeing us and came over immediately after their recitation of Joyce’s Ulysses concluded. Again, no biggie, but I really wished I had a drink from the bar to sip on while waiting. He recommended a nice white wine to start with was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the roasted cauliflower and octopus/shrimp bruschetta to start with. The appetizer portions were plentiful. I was very surprised, as most nice places usually give small starter portions. They were great and very tasty. I went ahead and ordered our entrees early which was a mistake. I could tell they were made too quickly as they were brought out the same time as the starters were being cleared. We ordered the fish special and pork loin and you could tell they had been sitting for a tad. They were dropped before the silverware had been refreshed — my guess was the chef was probably pushing to get them out once made. Again, not the end of the world, but a definite«no-no» for this type of dining. I hate to feel rushed. The server made another great recommendation for a bottle of red to go with our entrees which tasted superb. This is when things started to go downhill. A twenty person bachelorette party was seated next to us. A nice dinner turned into a bit of fiasco. The party was not happy with the table set up, so the poor servers had to get everyone up and rearrange a lot of tables. This caused about 5 – 10 minutes of bodies and rear ends milling around our table while we were eating. The party got seated and things got louder and louder as the night progressed. It also took up just about all of our server’s time waiting on them. Another large party of guys saw the table of twenty girls, their spider sense flared, and they swarmed the table. This created a group of thirty people milling around, taking pictures, yelling«woooooo,» and occasionally bumping into our table. When I made my reservation at Etch I did not picture dining with my face next to sequin skirt butts. I finally asked the server to move tables and he was very accommodating and apologetic. It’s not 100% the restaurant’s fault, but a party of this size probably needed a private room. A manager came over and apologized as well. In the end, our bottle of wine was comped as well as the dessert. This was really nice. At least I think they were comped. Our server never mentioned that it was comped, it just wasn’t on the bill. Maybe it was just an error and I was a jerk for not pointing it out. I’ll assume it wasn’t the latter. So, how do I feel? Honestly, just really let down. My friends and co-workers rave about Etch all the time. Will I go back? It will be a tough call. I’m very hesitant.

We had a fantastic lunch! I ordered the soup of the day which was a phenomenal strawberry soup with hints of ginger, lavender, cream and a beet glaze. This dish was very unique and it worked wonderfully, I couldn’t get enough!(How much cream was in there?!! Haha– I hope not much, but it doesn’t matter, soup was awesooommmeeee)! Also got to try the starter salad with walnuts, blue cheese and fennel. I loved the delicate dressing and the beautiful presentation. My main course was the spicy shrimp Thai inspired salad. It came with tempura mushrooms, peanuts, a delicious spicy Thai dressing and an odd bed of bean noodles. I enjoyed this but I found the cold noodles too prominent. I was under the impression it would be just a little crunchy thing, but it was a legit bedding of tasteless soggy noodles. I hated that part and discarded it. It was okay because the rest of the salad was sufficient. Our dessert consisted of dessert bites: 3 layers of goodness with some soft chocolate cake on the bottom, a middle layer of crunchy toffee goodness and topped with cold chocolate mousse! This was phenomenal and I appreciated the small bites because it was really rich. Still managed to shove down 3 pieces because they were soooooo fantastic! Overall, delicious lunch, very professional and kind service, definitely a great establishment serving top notch creative dishes, I highly recommend stopping by!

My coworkers have been talking about Etch for a minute, so I’ve been wanting to go! It’s located downtown, next to the Country Music Hall of Fame, Schermerhorn, all that stuff. I recommend a reservation, but also sitting at the bar overlooking their kitchen if you have that opportunity. It’s a bustling place, with a great selection. We ordered a few appetizers. One of my favorites was the butter tasting, which had rolls and baguette served with a medley of butters. My husband loved the one that was flavored like a potato chip, and I loved the one that was like an Italian sub. It’s hard to describe them eloquently, looking back, but they were smooth and delicious and fun. We also ordered their Roasted Cauliflower(one thing they’re definitely known for) and the Lamb Frites. I’m not big on lamb, but the husband loved it, and I did try some. Tasty! As for the cauliflower, it was pretty good and I don’t even usually like the stuff. I’ve heard some people come here just for the appetizers! For my main course, I had a delicious ahi tuna. It was their special that day, and it had a mix of vegetables, a purée of some kind of rice and other things that was smooth as hummus, and it was all so fresh and plated beautifully. Dan had the grilled lamb loin, served with feta filo clutch, pomegranate walnut sauce, lemon black olive tapenade, confit pearl onions, Tunisian poached apricots, mint relish, grilled okra. Isn’t the plating just so colorful and delicious? My mother-in-law had the grilled filet, cabernet sauce, horseradish & caramelized onion tart, parmesan, broccoli, mustard seed tarragon butter. I sampled a bit, and it was delicious too! Overall, the service and meal we received at Etch was excellent. While I felt like the entrees were overpriced(for comparable meals in Nashville, anyways) the appetizers were outstanding. I’d go back with friends and order all of the appetizers, tapas-style and share those for a great night out!

Wonderful service and good food! We found this place while being out in the city, looking for a place to it. I believe they offer valet parking, but we didn’t know that beforehand, so ended up parking in a garage nearby. The place was packed, and we got there about 45 minutes before closing. They offered us seats at the bar(I politely declined because I hate eating like that) and we were seated fairly quickly at a table. The service was impeccable, probably one of the best services I have seen. I even wrote down the name of the server, so I could mention her by name, but clumsy me lost the paper. To give an example of service, my wife went to the bathroom three times while we dined. All three times, the server came to our table and folded her napkin on the table, so it looked like new each time my wife came back. I was awestruck at how much attention to detail she had with the table, and I really appreciated it. The Butter Tasting: I ordered this for appetizer, because I love visiting my cardiologist. It was what you expect, bread, and different forms of butter. I can’t name them exactly, because the server actually told me which ones were which, but I was too distracted by the smell of food. Two of them, tasted great. One was allright, and one wasn’t special at all. However, the two forms of butter tasted excellent, and the little cups they came in were empty in no time. The bread tasted great as well. Scallops: My wife got the scallops and loved it. I didn’t taste it, but she said it was really good. Compared to my dish, the portions seemed a bit small, but apparently the taste makes up for it. Trios De Setas: I got this dish, and let me tell you, it’s one large dish. Usually at upscale restaurants in downtown, the portions are small but this one was definitely hard to finish. Or maybe I had too much butter and bread. The mushrooms, the butternut squash, and tortillas were great. The beet sauce was good, and I hate beets. I think the taste and the portions make it a 5 star dish. I don’t say this often, but I honestly thought I would have trouble finishing the dish after the appetizers. However, please don’t be alarmed, I did manage to finish it and save us all from doom, so rest easy! We did not ask for a dessert menu, mainly because we were too full to talk. I have to give this place 5 stars because it was good food with exemplary service. Yes, the prices are definitely high, but I thought it was worth it. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a night out on town, and isn’t cost conscious for a night.

One of the best meals I’ve had in years. Upon booking our trip, Alli made reservations weeks in advance for this place, not realizing that it is so popular and good. The location is great, the décor is slick, industrial and modern. Open kitchen for the win. We decided to go all out for this meal. Starting with the drinks, we both got the Red Head Chef, like a sour Margarita. We topped that off with the roasted cauliflower and bruschetta apps. Followed by the pork and lamb. It really was amazing. I would write more, but there are over 600 reviews so I’m sure everything has already been stated. One last note, our waiter was wonderful, I can’t remember his name, a younger guy in college, he was funny, helpful yet not too much. He definitely deserves a shout out.

Etch won the vote as the perfect place for my birthday dinner. We all got dressed to the nines and made our way downtown. Unfortunately, construction made parking somewhat of a challenge, but it was gorgeous outside, so we didn’t mind a walk. The bar opened at 4, so we got there early for our reservation at 5:15 and started the celebration with a few drinks — and just in time for happy hour! Their 303 concoction was absolutely phenomenal! It tasted like a mimosa, but with far more flavor. Despite being $ 8 a pop, I simply had to have two. Once the clock struck 5:15, our hostess showed us to our table. They gave us delicious bread rolls(I think they were rosemary?) with butter and took our drink order. Being the birthday girl and having to honor the family tradition, I chose a bottle of pinot noir from Oregon that probably had a huge mark up. After being sufficiently satisfied with my wine selection, we ordered our soup and salads. My salad(that they so kindly split in two for me, so I could share it) had slices of grapefruit and avocado and was topped with a piece of shrimp. The greens were dressed nicely and didn’t need any further seasoning. We also ordered the cauliflower appetizer… and I could really eat it everyday for the rest of my life. I do so love a restaurant that can make vegetables a true centerpiece. I chose the«catch of the day» entrée which was a more dense variety of white fish whose name escapes me. The consistency was similar to that of mahi and was complimented by three stuffed roll/savory doughnut type things(I’m so terrible with specific names). One was technically sweet(it included coconut), but it tasted more savory to me. By that point in the meal, I couldn’t finish the side dishes, but was determined to have at least a bite of each and all were delectable. I did, however, manage to finish the fish after achieving my second wind. I was quite content with everything. Although, they do not offer a free dessert on your birthday, our server(who was wonderful) brought me a tiny espresso cup filled with what tasted like crème brûlée with a lit candle. Of course, as with the rest of my meal, it was delightful, but the gesture was what really made the experience for me. Thanks for making my 28th birthday a tasty one!

There was no wait to sit at the bar, although the main restaurant books out pretty far in advance. Reservations are a must. They do offer full menu at the bar, but we came only for dessert. Definitely tasty desserts, with good presentation. The food is pretty when it comes out, picture worthy. The wine was very good, albeit expensive.

Loved Etch! There’s a reason Nashville is getting such a great reputation for its fabulous food! I made us a reservation for a Friday at 9pm and upon arrival at 8:45pm we were immediately seated. Our waiter, Ed, was exceptional. Good service always makes me bump my reviews up ever so slightly. Older gentleman from Nashville who was super nice, knowledgeable, cordial, polite, and overall, awesome. We started with a round of cocktails, and I felt terrible, I just didn’t like mine. He happily took it away and off the menu. No worries. As far as our meal was concerned, we started off with the octopus and shrimp bruschetta which was fantastic, excellent combination of flavors. Highly recommend. We also ordered a nice bottle of wine. For dinner I had their scallops and my beau had their fish special. My scallop dish came with 4 large scallops over caramelized onion farro with a variety of mushrooms with butternut amarillo sauce and preserved lemon beet purée drizzled over it. Very unique flavor combination. My beau had their fish of the day(halibut I believe) which came with the butternut amarillo sauce, oranges, carrots, a baked crispy pouch with(pasta) I believe with a tasty green sauce on the side. We also ordered potato salad on the side. Let me tell you, I hate potato salad. I kept thinking, babe, I won’t eat that. WELL, let me tell you, the potato salad was outstanding! It was pieces of crispy baked sliced potatoes in a mustard dressing. Yum! Loved the ambiance, very upscale, classy, trendy and sophisticated. I can’t wait until they fix that terrible parking garage outside of the restaurant, it’s hideous! That’s my only complaint. Food was excellent, I am really surprised they don’t have a Michelin star rating!

Etch is definitely not scetch. Stopped in for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. The lunch menu is not large but the execution and flavor packed a punch. The wine list had plenty of nice offerings and the by the glass selection was just as tempting. Started with a cauliflower appetizer that was very wow. Almost ordered a second one. The beef tenderloin was uniquely prepared served with a sauce and thin noodle like vegetables. It also came with a large serving of fried potato salad that I did not care for. The service was adequate and the atmosphere anchored by the open kitchen is straight forward with concrete walls. The dinner menu is much more ambitious. I would have loved to try a few of those dishes too bad they are served only in the evening.

This is definitely a MUST-TRY place in Nashville! Perfect for a nice business or romantic dinner. You won’t regret it, and also make reservations! It get full easily. I found this place on many top restaurant lists online. I was a little worried that it might be one of those fancy, small portion places, but it had a more cool, modern feel to it with great portion size! I really like that. What we ordered: Roasted cauliflower — the green and red sauces that come with it make the dish. Two completely different flavors that compliment the cauliflower so well. Octopus & Shrimp Bruschetta — so many different flavors, it’s like a party in your mouth. I love all the textures from the crispy bread to the tender lobster. Venison chop — I’ve had venison before and never liked it because it was too gamey. This cut was completely tender and I would never guess that it wasn’t beef. The best part of the dish was that meatball that came with it. Bang! They packed a lot of flavor in that little thing. Scallops — also with this dish, so well cooked and I was able to cut through it so easily and smoothly with my little knife. Dessert — They had a homemade banana/passionfruit sorbet that night. OMG. .. I’ve never had a sorbet so good. Each bite starts with the banana flavor and ends with the passionfruit. The scoop was surrounded by something as simple as crushed graham cracker and that made all the difference. I finished everything down to the last crumb. Basically I loved everything. I would say the only downside of the evening was that the service was a little slow because there were like five big groups while we were there. Other than that, wonderful, fantastic meal. It’s worth the cost because you will get your money’s worth in flavor and size.

It has taken me a few weeks to write this review because my first thought was this place doesn’t need another 5 star review. Everyone already knows it is one of the best in town! But, I feel like I will no longer be allowed to write reviews if I don’t write about this amazing restaurant! We went here for a birthday, so I booked a reservation pretty far in advance. It is not the kind of place you can just walk into. But when you go, you will understand why. As many have said before, the butter tasting and cauliflower are musts to try as far as appetizers go! I loved that the cauliflower app donated a $ 1 to Second Harvest. Call me a typical millennial, but I love when part of my purchase goes to help someone else. The butter tasting was really cool, but it is not probably something you would need to do each time. It is more about the experience and if you have had it once, I would suggest getting something else the second go around. Although on second thought, anytime it is acceptable to just order a lot of butter, maybe you should take advantage! My filet entrée was phenomenal! One of the best steaks I have had here in town! It came with a potato bread pudding which was really unique and delicious, and the presentation was beautiful! Everything presented at Etch looks too pretty to eat! In fact, I even got out my phone to take a picture, which is something I don’t typically like to do. But it just had to be captured! Cocktails were also great, and I would love to go back for a happy hour or just to sit at the bar one afternoon/night for a drink and appetizer!

There is a reason so many websites list Etch as one of Nashvilles Top Restaurants — it’s Good! We ordered the cauliflower as a app — loved the sauces and the truffle brushed on them! Then we ordered 3 different dinners: the fish of the day(grouper with eggplant meatballs), lamb and the filet. The eggplant meatballs were so different– but delicious! The Lamb has soooo many flavored and I loved it! The filet I ordered was amazing and my favorite! Such great flavor combinations on the filet and lamb! Highly suggest! For dessert we ordered the Almond and olive oil cake — I thought it was delicious! Perfect level of sweetness and again the flavor a were perfect! Presentation of the food was also some of the best I’ve seen! You need to eat here!!!

I mean like man oh man. I don’t know where to begin. Actually I do. So fiancé and I didn’t know where to go with my mother in law and when he had called the hostess told us that there wouldn’t be an open table til 945pm. This was around 6pm. Anyways we went to check it out to see if we could get seats at the bar and had some trouble finding it because of the construction. However there is valet so that was a plus. Anyways, got there I went to check and the first hostess had a little trouble but another one came over and told me she could seat us immediately. What? So of course we stayed and we got a table that was relatively close to the kitchen bar but it was still nice. I was pretty blown away by the décor. I’m not sure what about it was the best but I just loved it. Maybe it was me simply being excited to be there but nonetheless. Our waiter came over and he seemed a little busy but he made sure to explain everything to us and gave us wonderful recommendations. We ordered the pork belly appetizer, I got the steak, mom got cobia and fiancé got the lamb. We wanted wine and he gave us some recommendations and he kept recommending the merlot which I’m not a huge fan of but he brought out some for us to sample and he really knew what he was talking about. My fiancé had ordered a sample of something else but we both ended up with the merlot. It was splendid. Anyways. The steak. I think one of the best steaks I’ve had around Nashville and trust me, I’ve had a lot of steaks. Good and bad. But this melted in my mouth and everything on the plate just made for the perfect bite. And the merlot made it even better. The cobia was also amazing. It’s a strange bite but everything on the plate comes together for the best bite. And the lamb was so tender and melted in your mouth as well. But I’m glad I got the steak because I’m a steak kinda gal. And didn’t regret a single bite. ALSOTHEPORKBELLY. MUSTHAVE. ITISSOGOOD. Finally it was time for dessert and we went all out. Might as well, right? The goat cheese vanilla ice cream was probably my favorite and i don’t even like goat cheese. I had the mocha dessert and it was really good but too rich after such a large meal. And the peanut butter mousse was good too but too sweet for me. All in all the food was amazing, the service was phenomenal(there was also an incident with another guest that occurred but the staff handled that wonderfully and quietly) and we had a lovely evening. Highly recommended for a nice night out and would love to try again in the future.

Bravo! Visiting Nashville for the first time, during the holiday and needing a special experience — My wife reserved New Year’s Eve dinner here more than a month in advance, seeing its popularity on Unilocal. We shuttled in from our hotel and arrived more than an hour early, so we headed to the then empty bar, taking the seats closest to the server pickup area. The dynamic duo of Paul and(sp) Melania were polishing up glasses. So began an hour plus of story sharing, laughs, and a great evening. While at the bar we met the Somm(Mark) and many of the wait staff. We tried white and reds by the glass, and shared a splash of our 2003 Jaboulet Hermitage La Chappelle(corkage $ 25). Simply loved these bartenders! Dinner was a four course $ 90 affair, and although we did not partake, a wine pairing with each course was available for an extra $ 40. Considering what was to follow, the price was extremely reasonable! The quality, intensity and portions all were amazing. Pics of menu are posted. Course 1 — chicken dumpling soup was one of the best ever tasted. Seriously, ever… — seared tuna in a strawberry rum sauce, also terrific Course 2(we had the same) — seared sea scallops with tempura shitake mushrooms and seated bone marrow mouse. This killed. Wow! We asked for extra time here and they were happy to assist — we were mostly full already! So we sat and sipped, the manager came over and so did the chef, who in addition to being extremely talented, was an amazingly down-to-earth woman. The whole staff was so warm and friendly, we felt right at home! Course 3(with our wine) — filet mignon with the most amazing horseradish onion au gratin potato — venison loin chop with brussel spouts and other goodness Close to exploding here but having a blast! And we went on to dessert, which was the piece de resistance of this culinary journey! Back to the bar fore some more laughs, hugs and the perfect end to a perfect evening! This would be our home away from home, no doubt about it!

We had one night in Nashville so I wanted to make the most of it and had heard great things about Etch — it was indeed a superb culinary experience. We sat at the chef’s bar so were able to see the food preparation in action, which was pretty exciting. I started the meal with the Etch Salad — incredibly fresh, well-dressed and beautifully presented. I went with the filet for my main course. Definitely one of the most flavorful pieces of meat and came on top of a great savory bread pudding. The filet was also well presented and was topped with a delicious gravy. Finished off the meal with the mocha torte: brownie, ganache, mousse, whipped cream to name a few ingredients. Needless to say it was quite decadent. I highly recommend Etch for a superb meal, great atmosphere and quality service.
