My wife and I stopped in for dessert after dinner on Sunday night. Fearrin’s was really promoting the heck out of their Salted Caramel Pumpkin Sundae so we bit. It was excellent! Also a nice treat to have pumpkin ice cream in the summer.

Delicious, creamy ice cream. I had a single scoop of cookies and cream. The shop is no frills. The sun shining in March may have inflated my experience, but the ice cream was definitely good.

Their famous pumpkin sundae! Pumpkin ice cream covered with caramel and nuts(optional), this sundae is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. A nice sweet treat on a hot day… or any day!

The ice cream was nice and creamy. I enjoyed eating it in the outdoor seating. The person who waited on us seemed annoyed that we didn’t know right away what we wanted(only ones in there at the time). There were about 12 flavored to choose from. I had chocolate chip cookie dough and pumpkin. The two together was great!

Top notch homemade frozen confections. Creamy, fruity, sweet treats. My black raspberry and peach scoops were a party in my mouth. Add the quaint train ride thru the village of Nashville and you’ve got a winner by any measure. Luv this place.

Chocolate almond in the PB coated cone! Heavenly! Husband had Pb choc chip in cake cone said it was delicious. $ 10 for the two slightly pricey in my opinion.

Delicious homemade ice cream! I had peanut butter chocolate chip & I highly recommend it! Many delicious flavors to choose from, they even have homemade truffles! Definitely don’t miss out on a visit to Fearrin’s if you’re in Nashville. FYI — they don’t have much seating inside but there are many options outside where you can watch carriage rides & a tourist train go by.

Homemade ice cream was good. If all you want are scoops of ice cream then this will work. The sundae was awesome and their peanut butter chocolate chip was the very good. They do have soft serve yogurt as well and claim to make something similar to a DQ blizzard, but it could have been better if you could have done that with the Homemade stuff. Overall good, but would like to see more options using the homemade treats.

I liked this place so much I came twice when my husband and I stayed the night. Inside it was pretty typical. Nothing too fancy. All the tables were taken so we just carried our drink while we shopped. We got the ice cream soda. I wasn’t really sure what it was but the super helpful staff gave us the run down. They are traditionally made with vanilla ice cream, soda and you pick the syrup flavor. We went with that and added chocolate syrup. It was great! I was worried the soda would be over powering but it was not. I came back the next day and got another. I really wanted to try the pumpkin ice cream. I looooove pumpkin! I think it would even be good in a soda. I will have to remember to stop by when I come to Nashville again. It wasn’t super cheap or super expensive. We paid around 5 for our soda. You could get a bigger shake from steak and shake for that price but I think it was worth it.

It’s got a lot of charm, especially with the train/trolley that sets out from their location. The prices are reasonable and they make their own ice cream. Still, there was just something lacking for me in terms of flavor. I wanted to love it but I guess my expectations were set higher than what they could deliver on.

In a town with at least six ice cream shops in a three-block stretch, Fearrin’s wins for one reason alone – they are open the latest of them all. While most places closed at 7 or 8pm, Fearrin’s was open until 9:30 on Saturday. Their closing times are 9:30 on Fri/Sat and 9pm the other days. That’s good news for folks who don’t go to bed when the sun goes down. So how is the ice cream? Not the best I’ve had, but better than just«good enough for nine o’clock.» It’s homemade, so that adds legitimacy. They have chocolate almond here, and since I hardly ever see it anywhere, I had to choose that. I prefer the almonds crunchy, not somewhat stale as these were, but otherwise the stuff was great.

This place is really good! Last time we were visiting it was during the winter and they were closed. I was definitely disappointed because I’m not used to seasonal restaurant closings in Northern Virginia, but it’s my understanding that many of the establishment owners in Nashville run several restaurants/shops at the same time. I guess it makes things easier on them to close down all but one store during slower seasons if they sell similar items at all of their stores. I will go here again next time I visit!

Hands down the best pumpkin ice-cream I’ve ever had. It wasn’t too sweet, not too spicy, not too icy, nor creamy. It was simply perfect! My husband and I are kicking ourselves for not coming home with some hand packed goods. After driving around Indianapolis looking for comparable if not better ice-cream, we’ve given up and will go back to Nashville for some more spicy, pumpkin goodness. As an aside, the server was awesome and gave us a very generous serving!
