Fix It Right

Rude and unprofessional. I’ve never had such a bad experience with any service.
The owner was uncooperative and incredibly rude to me on the phone. He spoke down to me and actually hung up on me twice.
I can’t speak to any actual work because he did not come out to my house, but the customer service was appalling and that’s enough for me to call someone (anyone) else.

RUN. DO NOT USE. He intimidated my wife and was VERY rude and extremely unprofessional. I had a very simple repair on my fridge that was correctly diagnosed on the phone. He gave me a quote over the phone and said the trip charge would be waived if i used him.
With the quote he gave me with the correct diagnosis, i agreed to have him repair my fridge. When he got there, he jacked the price up by $ 100. When i disagreed he got angry and very RUDE. My wife and kids got scared and he said if i didn’t use him I would still have to pay the $ 75 charge.
While i was talking to my wife he started on the repair. I told him to Stop Immediately that we were still deciding if his new price was worth hiring him. I’m pretty sure this is illegal.
At that point, i told him i’ll pay him but to leave my house immediately. I should have called the police.
I can prove that this was a bait and switch and he used intimidation to get $ 75 from us and didn’t do any work.
RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN away from this guy and his company. A website and a truck does not make you a business. RUN RUN RUN.
If i could leave negative stars i would.
UPDATE: Instead of doing the right thing and being professional, the owner (he’s a one man shop) is threatening me.
I ended up repairing this for $ 36 using YouTube.

We called on New Year’s eve and expecting to be told that they would have to come out after the New Year. He said he could be here same day and told me up front what the fee to look at the fridge was going to be and that he would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. He called and was here quickly. The service call fee was waived because we decided to go ahead and have him do the repair. He spent about 35 minutes here and it was well worth it to know that the fridge is fixed.
I will be calling next time we have any appliance problems. GREAT Service and fair pricing.

Scheduled an appointment 1 week in advance. The person on the phone didn’t seem very concerned with my issue when I requested help and that was reflected in them missing the appointment we scheduled. 2 hours on a Saturday waiting and when I called to find out where they were, the gentleman (who was the same person who took the original order) wasn’t interested in making it right. «Must have been some kind of foul up,» he said. «I don’t know what to tell you.» How about «We apologize and we’ll have someone right out,» or «We can’t make it out today but what can we do to make this right?» Nothing.

Very knowledgable. Diagnosed why my dishwasher wasn’t cleaning properly within minutes. Which was impressive since I had someone else try to repair at no avail. My dishwasher is like new again. Will be the first person I call from now on.

Very nice guy and he knows his stuff. Fixed my dryer real quick. Price was reasonable and agreed to before work was performed, no last minute charges. Just all around good business. I’m a happy customer.

Very knowledgeable. Quick response. Was courteous and respectful. Upfront pricing and no surprises. Will use again.
