I was extremely impressed! Friendly staff and excellent service. The best food I’ve tasted in a long time; probably the best chicken I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the Almond Chicken Skewers! I’ll be going back very soon:))!

Where do I begin… Fresh to order has always been one of my favorite places. I used to go once a week when I lived in midtown Atlanta. I just recently moved to Nashville 3 weeks ago — and to my surprise they had a fresh to order too. 2 weekends ago I had friends in town from Alabama and I learned there was one here. I raved about it to my friends so they had no choice but to want to come to F2O. Unfortunately it took 35 minutes for our food to come out because of the fact that we all ordered salmon. Mike(the manager) was sooooo nice!!! He immediately came out and apologized. Then he didn’t stop there, he gave use each two cards for a free salad or panini AND $ 4 in F2O bucks. This was so nice of him and it really stuck with me how he went above and beyond to make it right. I was a restaurant manager for 2 years at Newks so I am usually more critical of restaurants than most. So 5 stars to fresh to order in Nashville! Beyond that — the food was great like always. I’ve already been back twice and it’s only been two weeks(don’t judge). This will definitely be a weekly stop for me — will probably bring my coworkers next time. Thank you Mike!

Unbelievable. Flat out, unbelievable. I’ve been waiting for something such as this to open up in Nashville for years. I would like to preface this review with the fact that I’ve NEVER reviewed any place/eatery. Nevertheless, after going there now, I felt obligated to post a review. Exceptionally friendly staff, clean place, cool setting, fair prices and excellent food. Eventually, a filling, healthy and moderately priced meal.

Excellent place, clean, great atmosphere, nice background music and super friendly staff. Top notch recommendations from the menu made by Mike the general manager. I’m having the spinach salad with grilled tofu and raspberry vinegarette dressing, to die for!

Great lunch spot if you’re looking for healthier, yet still flavorful, options. My mom and I ordered off the small bites(or was it plates?) menu, and were fully satisfied. I had the shrimp with an Asian slaw and it was divine. She had chicken with a side slaw and loved it. We both got small greens side salads and enjoyed them – each came with the perfectly-sized croissant. One critique: the raspberry vinaigrette is a tad on the sugary side. Will definitely be back when I’m in town!

I have never had a bad meal here. Staff is always very kind to my buddy with special needs. With the punch card I Have gotten two meals for less than a dollar. Gluten free menu is short but really delicious. The drinks alone are nearly worth the visit.

The service was very nice but the quality of the food was worse than I expected. specially for being one of the best-rated restaurants in the area. I had the Almond Chicken Skewers.

Such a great concept but we went for dinner and the food came out 1 order at a time. I was done before the rest of us even got dinner. Then it did not taste fresh but frozen and reheated. The beef with mushroom sauce wasn’t good at all. Won’t go back.

Other than the food tasting decent, I can’t recommend this place. Overpriced and they barely give you anything. Atmosphere is decent. I’ve been to sushi places and received more for my money. I’ve had Lunchables that were more filling. And they even came with dessert. Check out the added photo of the chicken tenders to get a good idea of how much you get for their biggest entrees. To think, they offer a quarter portion.

Yum, yum! Wish I had taken a picture of my pretty food. I had the Asian salad with the tuna as I was trying to go lo cal but when it came I was so happy I got it. Huge and filled with oranges and avocados. Hubby had the Waldorf chicken salad panini and I barely got to see it, he scarfed it down so quickly. Thankful for the healthy kid menu options. My child had the salmon and wheatberry rice. He was so happy it was served with a lollipop on the side. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Also nice customer service. Only complaint was they need a changing table in the women’s room. We’ll be back!

I’m extremely happy to get this place nearby. I’ve been there at least once every weekend as it opened and am looking forward to going tomorrow. The marketplace salad is the greatest and their broiled chicken would be to die for. Their soups are also wonderful. I’m looking forward to trying more things on the menu! The staff is also quite friendly and professional.

Great food! But the service wasn’t all the way there. Maybe I’ll return when I’m back in Nashville, but not likely.

This is our go-to spot for lunch. We always get the black bean burger and tuna burger. It’s so hard to steer away from them! Caesar salad tastes great. I love the tomato bisque soup. They have an almond-crusted seared tuna that is soooooooo good! It takes a bit longer than other food to prepare, but it’s worth it. They have a variety of tea and a cucumber mint water that’s very refreshing. I will say, beware if you get the draft beer. You first get a card and put money in it. They have this nifty machine and when you swipe that card you can start your pour yourself. Depending on how long you pour your beer will determine how much it will cost. Unfortunately, if you’re one of the first to use it, you get mostly foam, BUT each time the staff have been very helpful and will re pour the beer to wherever we want and not get charged. This is a fasible lunch spot so they’re super busy during prime lunch hours.

I ordered to go — almond crusted ahi tuna and a caesar salad. The disposition of the workers was amazing, otherwise this would have been 2 stars. The packaging of to go orders is very half hazard and incomplete, I was surprised by how unappetizing it looked when I got home and opened it up. The ahi was good, if a bit fishier tasting than I would have liked. The caesar salad really was not as good even as the Dole Caesar salad kits you get for $ 2.50 from the grocer. I was disappointed in the lack of creativity in what I ate, I don’t think I’ll be back because I’ve had better salads from Panera Bread or just the grocery store in a bag, like I said. Nothing to write home about.

I gave Fresh To Order one more chance today. The presentation was perfect, as always. The Caesar salad was definitely fresh this time, a vast improvement over my first visit. The Smokey Southwest Panini was very flavorful and the bread was fantastic. It’s not a true panini if it’s not enveloped in a great ciabatta! But the word smoky isn’t spelled with an «e» is it? Maybe it’s a corporate decision to honor the University of Tennessee mascot Smokey. Wait a minute, the headquarters are in Georgia!!! Uga the bulldog won’t be happy about this! Anyway, I appreciate the healthy options at F2O, and there are many. A side of freshly cut apples helped balance out the deep-fried calamari I ate as an appetizer(which was a little chewy at times, but the batter is amazing). The fried lemons always amaze me, intermingled with the calamari, and for anyone who enjoys the bitterly delicious taste of something lemony you must try them here! Overall, I upgraded my rating from a 1 to a 3. I’ve definitely had far a better panini for the same price or cheaper, but it was a much better experience this time. And when you can buy the best calamari known to man at Carrabba’s for $ 9.90, any other restaurant charging more will never compare. I wish my Caesar salad had come with a little parmesan cheese, that necessary topping to make the flavors pop! But F2O was trying to keep me on the healthy side of things, and there is enough parmesan in a Caesar dressing to meet my daily requirement. The chips were stale, and as an avid water drinker I wish there was another free option other than cucumber-flavored water. This place just can’t fully satisfy me, and I’m continually perplexed by 4 and 5-star ratings on Unilocal. But I was pleased to see that they had improved since I was last there.

Fresh to Order was another great eatery we visited during our travels to Nashville last weekend. We were trying to eat at all local spots, but towards the end of the trip, my friend and I were on a health kick after binge eating the first two days!.. lol…, so we ended up hitting Fresh to Order on day 3. Even though it is a chain, both of us had not been, and we were both very happy with the experience. The service was very good, we were greeted immediately as we walked in, and we felt welcome. The food was brought out quickly too, another plus. The place was spotless too I should add. They were on top of keeping the table tops clean and ensuring their napkins holders were full and all condiments were available, etc. The food was great. I had their black bean burger, and split a spinach salad with my friend. The black bean burger was a patty freshly made, and it was dressed well with a combination of jalapenos, horseradish, aioli, honey mustard sauce and avocado. Instead of serving it in a traditional hamburger bun, they made it and delivered it on top of a ciabatta bread. Everything just went together and I really loved how fresh and light it was. The spinach salad was very tasty too. The strawberries, toasted almonds, blue cheese and raspberry vinaigrette all married really well together and the salad was another food hit. If you are looking for something healthy(WITH flavor!), Fresh to Order will not disappoint!

I like the idea. I like the location. I want to like the product more than I did. That said, maybe it’s a process of finding the right thing to order. But, if in need/want of a soup/salad/sandwich combo and in this part of towm, F2O is probably worth a visit. At least, check out the menu. I first stopped by on a rainy, chilly evening. I was all out of ‘can’s’ and was in need of some soup. I decided that a salad would be a good way to counteract the effects of my liquid(read: alcohol) diet. So, a quick search of the Unilocal later and I’m battling people for parallel parking spaces in this ever-growing section of Elliston. Once I’d dispatched my foes, I walked in and ascertained that the business matched the location. Yes, I can see that a F2O chain location would do well in, say, Murfreesboro but giving condo residents and hospital workers the convenience of a relatively healthy meal makes pretty good business sense as well. So, the way the show works is you come in, go over the giant menu, order, contemplate some additional protein to said order, pay, start eating or take your food to go in 10 minutes or so. I settled on the ½ and ½: mushroom soup and club salad. Because I was being healthy, I went with their preferred add-on option of chicken tenders. You know. The soup was thick and hearty and much larger a portion than I was expecting. It tasted good at first but left me with an odd aftertaste. That said, I ate it all with no regrets. Making my way to the club salad, I was happy to find that it, too, was a very generous portion size. The salad combo(mixed greens, almonds, bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, cheese, raisins, and cranberries) could stand on their own but I was happy enough with the chicken tenders. I went with the suggested honey mustard but it, too, tasted good at first and finished odd. Something is off with the sorta-liquids at F2O. I’m thinking it may make the most sense to stay with solids-only in your ordering.

This place is… interesting. Great concept. Kind of reminds me of Sonoma Chicken Coop — better food at a reasonable price because you order at a counter, but it’s strange because they still wait on you. I came for lunch and they weren’t busy at all, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Everyone was nice. The ahi had a fascinating curry kick to the crust which really was quite good, as were all of the teas. I’m hesitant about pomegranate, but their take was the best I’ve had. The mushroom chicken was tasty, albeit slightly over cooked and stringy. The Caesar side salad was good, but if you aren’t gonna toss it with the dressing, you can’t put it on a small plate. I need room to stir that ish up! **i had one issue, I thought the plates were dirty, but it’s just their reaction to their washing process I guess. I’ll be back, but I’m not sure what for yet.

Fresh food fancy fresh! Or something like that… That’s fresh to order. They have wine and beer. It’s fancy casual. Great service. Awesome flavored waters. Ridiculously good food.
