While waiting for my food at Miss Saigon, I strolled into this place. The manager or owner there was very friendly. Everything there is individually sold so its not a wholesale place and its for nail salon shops as well as private consumers.
He estimated that to buy the hand lamp ($ 65 – 170), special shellac base coat ($ 15) and top coat ($ 15) and shellac polish ($ 15), it would cost about $ 200. It sounds fair considering that to go to the nail salon, it costs $ 35 + tip per shellac manicure. The shellac manicure looks great and its supposed to last 2 weeks or longer! Which is amazing because even with a gel polish, I usually get a week on it.
