My group ended up here to visit antique archeology. Turns out the line was ridiculous, but the Marathon Motorworks building that contains antique archeology is full of other shops. One of those shops happens to be this cool little winery tap room. The wine is pretty good, but the highlight is the $ 2 wine slushies! You even get to pick what kind of wine goes into your slushy! Bonus– free wine tasting(with purchase) when you check in on Unilocal

Those who are leaving the«what?! $ 3 for a wine tasting?!». I don’t know where you buy your wine(maybe at a certain trader grocery for $ 5/bottle), but you’re paying $ 3 and getting to choose what taste you like, and it adds up to being a glass of wine. That’s beyond fair. Anywho, the staff were very friendly, even though they were super busy. Our girl told us she had been there since 11(it was now 5), and that none of them had gotten a bathroom break all day because they were so busy! She said it with a laugh, she was not complaining. She was super helpful with informing us on the wines, and was spot on with how they would taste, so there were no surprises! Ever had chalky tasting wine? I have, so this matters! We left with two bottles of sweet! It’s fun if you love wine, but have other things you want to do in Nashville! It’s Nashville after all!

Hubby and I went in with every intention of buying a bottle of wine. I wanted to try a couple so I’d get one I enjoy but a tasting costs $ 3.00 or more. I told the young lady that I wanted to buy a bottle but when I taste I only want a thimbleful and didn’t want to pay that much for such a tiny taste. If I had been the employee, I’d have given the old gal her thimbleful, accepted a tip, and sold the bottle of wine but that didn’t seem to be an option so we left with no bottle.

What a fun spot to run into! We went to Marathon Village to go to Antique Archaeology, and we decided to walk through the building a bit once we were done there. My aunt and I did the wine tasting(I did both the dry & sweet wines, she stuck with just the sweet). The guy that helped us with our tasting was nice, very friendly and informative. The wine was very good!

This tiny little winery is located in the shops adjacent to antique archeology. The shop is also one of the stops on the Nashville Trolley Tour. Being the tourist spot that this is, one would think that they’d have enough business to be open more than 5 days a week, but as we found out when we tried to visit the first time they are closed Monday and Tuesday. Nonetheless, we made a special trip to come back on Wednesday so that we could do a tasting. I did like that they had two different tastings — one for sweet wine and one for reds. They gave some good info about the wines and had a small section of things for purchase. If you are stopping here anyway for the trolley tour or are going to one of the other shops, it is a nice thing to do. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way for this winery.

Great Wine! This is a must stop for wine lovers! There is a selection of merchandise to check out including t-shirts, kitchen towels, cork screws, and more. The staff is very friendly and will be happy to answer questions and offer tastings. I have had the pleasure of meeting Jacob, Micol, and Ashley on different visits. Now the important part — the tasting! There is a small fee from $ 3 to $ 6 depending on which wine you want to taste. I love this. You can have a one ounce taste of the wine you like before you commit to purchasing a whole bottle. I’m a dry red wine drinker so I can tell you these are my favorite. I have tried the sweet wines and like them but just can’t drink much of anything sweet. I don’t even drink sweet tea anymore. The great news is there is something here for everyone’s taste. The wines: Rebel — My absolute favorite! This wine is made from the estate grown touriga nacional grape which is a Portuguese grape. It is a dry red. The other dry reds they offer are Three-Eighty-Two from a chambourcin grape and Colleytown which is a syrah blend. Ivory Mist is an off-dry white wine from the Cayuga grape. I can tell you it goes very well with chicken or fish and summer picnics. I know this from experience. Now for the sweet wine lovers: Blondy is a sweet wine wine and if you like Moscato I’m convinced you will love this one. And for the sweet red wine drinkers they have Switch Red from the Concord grape which is the same grape that makes grape juice but this one will give you a different feeling than grape juice. Razzbury is available for the berry wine drinkers. If you are in the area and love local wines, this is a must stop.

Great place! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great wines from locally grown grapes. «zephyr» was our favorite. And they have slushies! Will definitely return.

We walked in here after visiting antique archeology and we were probably in there for about 5 minutes looking at their merchandise and looking over at the bar every once and a while. We were looking around trying to find out how there tasting works as there is a big sign outside but no info. We are a little shy but without any engagement from the staff we didn’t want to ask. The only time the staff acknowledged us was when we left! Not going back.
