We finally decided to try this new place in Donelson and I must say that I had high hopes based on other reviews. Unfortunately, the only good part of the meal was the ½ price wine. The pictures of food on their Facebook site appeared as though they had a few higher end dishes such as sea bass. The menu tonight… on a Saturday night, consisted of 5 or 6 sandwiches… the only entrée special was a pasta dish. My burger was ok but I have certainly had many burgers that were much better and if you are going to serve Kobe beef on a burger, don’t put processed American cheese food on it. Just leave it off! This is basically bar food. If that’s what you like, then go. If you want a few nice choices, go to Darfons.

Hatters Cross is a really quaint and awesome bar/restaurant. The music was great, which is not something I can say about all bars. Sommer was my bartender and she is awesome! I had my fill of food and drink, the 8oz burger(get tots with it!) was amazing. Definitely recommend and will return.

Nightly specials, great bourbon and beer selection. Now open for lunch 11am-2pm, and happy hour every day from 4−7pm. Local and craft beers, excellent wine list, we have something for everyone!!!

I found this place using Unilocal, staying at a nearby La Quinta and needing something good for food and drink. The place has four taps and they’re all dedicated to craft beer. Their food menu is amazing, the smallest burger they have is 8 ozs. Clientele are mostly locals that like quality or business travelers with class. You’re not looking at a bunch of douche canoe bros or woo girls around here. Summer runs a good place. This will be a new spot I visit often when I travel here for work, even though I don’t stay in the same hotel.

A hidden gem in a hotel. Great beer selection and food. I had their Sea Bass Veg Risotto and it was excellent. If you are in the area stop in, you won’t regret it. Props to Sommer and Lewis.

Had some time because our flight was delayed. Stopped at Hatter’s Cross because it was close and looked good. The soup and artichoke dip were excellent-really some of the best we have had. Kevin offered us excellent & perfectly laid back service!

Well, i went here because of the other reviews and the pics. It was a good call. Sommer was behind the bar and she is awesome. Okay, it is a hotel lobby bar, if you can get past that, all is good. We came in and it was very quiet with some cool music playing. We ended the quiet real quick. Ha ha ordered some drinks and food. I had the chicken club and it was just awesome. My buddy had the hamburger and he said it was awesome. These are super big sandwiches, so if you’re a lite eater, you might want to share. Which is always good. Tatter tots or fries come with it. Tots were excellent. The menu is small with the perfect amount of choices. From apps, salads to some really good entrees. So, if you live in the Donaldson area or close to the airport go here. Now, stop bothering me, kid. He he

I was staying at the Marriott and they didn’t serve any food, so I walked across the street for a meal. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I’m glad I came here to eat.

Hatter’s is close to my work and hoped it was going to be a great little spot for lunch. But, that is not the case. The lady at the reception desk had to find someone to help me. I stood at the bar and ordered then seated myself. I was there 25 min before my food came with not even my drink or seeing anyone else that worked there since I had ordered. When my food arrived, it was cold, greasy and to look at it, I wasn’t sure what I had ordered. The waiter ‘remembered’ my drink when he delivered my food and disappeared again. When he didn’t return, I went back to the reception desk and asked the lady to come back to the table with me. I showed her the food and explained I was not going to eat it and was leaving. I didn’t see my tea nor the waiter again.

I can’t really rate the restaurant since we didn’t eat there. We walked into the hotel and there was nobody at the front desk and nobody at the bar. We weren’t even sure if it was the restaurant at all. When someone finally showed up and walked behind the bar we asked if the restaurant was open. She said Yeah. And that’s it. We said so what’s the protocol? She said Just sit wherever you want. We walked out. I’m sorry, but that’s not the restaurant experience we expected after reading some reviews.

Okay, now, hear me out. This place is way out by the airport. It’s in a business hotel. It looks like any other business hotel bar. BUT. It’s not what it appears to be. Lewis Graham is an insanely good chef. Their happy hour deals are ridiculous. We had Stone Arrogant Bastard Bourbon Barrel Ale, an offering I’ve yet to find elsewhere in Nashville, and it was amazing. Oh, did I mention it was two for one? Appetizers are all $ 5 during happy hour and I would say tasty enough and big enough to be a meal. Lewis cooks big. Big flavors, big portions. I would say take a doggie bag, but probably more like a body bag. You can use it for leftovers. Or for your buddy who downed the entire 16 oz Double double burger by himself and dropped dead. :) Seriously, though, the portions are big but the cooking is super savvy and if this place were located anywhere else it would be filled with bearded Nashvillians looking for delicious, bold food and a great drink selection. Head out there for dinner before a movie at Opryland. You will be the happiest person in the theater.
