This is one of the better food trucks I’ve had in a while. The food is delicious. The lamb gyro wasn’t sliced thin. It’s chopped and it’s delicious. The chicken is flavorful all throughout the meat. I actually believe the website when it says the chicken is marinated overnight. The falafel was fried fresh. Very crunchy and nutty on the outside. Also well seasoned inside. The salad was better than most Greek places. It was made of baby greens, tomato, cucumber, and red onion, all diced. No iceberg in sight. The only thing is the price point. It’s a little high(as food trucks usually are), but I got some quality food for the money, so it’s very VERY close to balancing out. And the cook was entertaining during the short wait. I would wait a little longer for food this good.

They only have a few menu items but they do every single one REALLY well! Falafel was perfect, pita tasted handmade and the lamb has a slight crisp to it. I found them in the Crieve Hall neighborhood in front of Tobacco Road Smoke Shop. I hope they are there every week!

King Tut’s was my first time trying falafel and I was pretty happy I did. They brought the food truck to the parking lot at work one day and I went outside intent on trying the best vegetarian or fish dish amongst the three trucks in the parking lot that day. King Tut’s seemed new and unique so I decided to wander over there and get the falafel platter. They had three different sauces to choose from and the meal came with a little salad, 5 large falafel balls, and a box full of tasty yellow rice. I ended up splitting it into two meals it was so big! It was still a little expensive for what it was($ 14 after tax and tip) but I was pretty happy with the value. The falafel itself was crispy on the outside and remained consistently crunchy with a soft, mildly seasoned center. The texture sold me more than the taste, honestly. Pros: Size of the meal and texture/freshness of the falafel Cons: It was a little expensive for what it was. Overall: Good food truck greek food with great, happy people running the truck!

Scrumptious food truck fare. Had the lamb and shawarma combo with crisp greens and rice with a splash tzatziki sauce. Friendly. Well priced. Delish!

This is always my favorie food truck! I have tried others only because the line was so long at KT’s but then regretted my decision when the food isn’t as good at another truck. They are informative(when I didn’t know what something on the menu was), quick and the food is DELICIOUS! If I can stalk them, I will! :)

Totally yummy. The pita is incredibly delicious — it’s uniquely moist /doughy not four-year at all or remotely dry. Falafel was packed with flavor and crunch you could pick out different bits of the mix so it wasn’t just a singular soft mash bite. Loved my chicken Shwarma so much I craved seasoned chicken thereafter. It was well cooked and very well seasoned with veggies that added all the fresh and crunch you wanted in the heavy meal. I thought I’d need a plate to fill me but the sandwich did it well. Downside on the tzatziki sauce — wasn’t really a fan kind of felt flat/mayo-ish to me. Out of hummus but can’t really fault a food truck at a small event for not over prepping but I would have loved to try since hummus is my favorite. Guy running the stand was nice, truck looks good and food was awesome. Good stuff.

GREAT felafel – moist, well seasoned, and smooth(not grainy). Light, soft pita. Plenty of fresh veggies. Delicious yogurt sauce. Hot hot hot hot sauce that is so, so food. Eat here. Just do it. THISISTHEFELAFELYOUSHOULDBEEATING!

Absolutely delicious. Their motto is Egyptian fare with a New York flare, and it certainly lived up to that. After a quick wait, my husband and I received our food. He ordered the lamb gyro, and I had the mixed grill plate with hot sauce. Both were great, but I think I ordered better. The mixed plate was an obscene amount of food. The chicken was amazing and so well flavored. The lamb was great with lots of crunchy pieces, which are my favorite. The falafel was good, but my least favorite of the three options. The hot sauce was AMAZING. It actually had some good spice to it and was super flavorful. The best part? In each of our meals, there was a stuffed grape leaf hidden. How amazing if that?! I will definitely seek out KTs in the future!

Delish! Found them at Live on the Green and it was a great change of pace from the usual trucks. Tried the falafel and chicken sandwiches. Both were top notch. Also, both for less than $ 20. Don’t know what that Jason B. guy was taking about.

Delicious falafel sandwich! Pita was fresh and chewy. Hummus was homemade and far above local standard. Come back quality.

I’d say that the chicken schwarma is one of the better food truck dishes that I’ve ever had. A healthy serving of rice topped with spicy marinated chicken and a side salad. While the portion was filling for lunch, I have a preconceived notion that I should have a satisfying lunch from a truck for $ 7. The plate is $ 10. I’m only rating 3 stars for now because I haven’t tried anything else on the menu. Also, there are only 3 options… falafel, lamb gyro, chicken; each availalbe in plate or sandwich.
