Kroger

I felt the need to review this Krogs because they have grown leaps and bounds since I stopped in a few years ago.
Upon my discovery of the east-​east side, I declared Donelson a «Bud Light, Miller Light, Coors Light» kind of town with a «White Bread, Bologna, & Mayo» Kroger. Nothing wrong with that, just means you used to have to go a little further to find anything else.
Well, butter my biscuits, this little Kroger not only started carrying a VAST selection of craft beer and serving Sushi, they recently had a remodel. Oh yes, there is definitely a wine shelf anxiously awaiting the appearance of actual wine (the kind with alcohol in it!)
It may not be my go-​to grocery, but it now holds its own against other area Kroger stores. Good job, Hip D.

I do like this store. It’s in a great shopping center where I can make multiple stops. Nothing like convenience and this store is convenient.
It’s also clean, aisles are wide, inventory is usually well stocked, and it’s larger than the East Nashville Kroger.
When I hit the pet store in this shopping center, I usually also hit this Kroger. A little more inventory than what I’m used to on the East Side.

This Kroger is by my work and every time I come here I am blown away by the customer service. Every staff member has a smile on their face and goes the extra mile for their guest. The last time I was here the gentleman behind the meat counter added extra marinade over my steaks without even asking. The gentleman behind the meats was very cheerful and offered samples and so happy to help. Then today as I was leaving it started to pour and a worker came out of nowhere and got an umbrella and walked me to my car. This just names a few. It’s really odd to say this about a grocery store, but it is such a happy environment every single time. 5 stars

There are 3 Kroger’s in my general area. This one rates as number 2 on my preference list. The 3^rd one doesn’t even get an honorable mention. I’m not sure much separates the two accept that my number one was recently remodeled. Customer service is basic. Nothing over the top. Kroger is Kroger.

Best Kroger in the area to shop at! Gas right across the street! They actually know how to organize their isles. It’s not hard to find stuff, and good prices

The Kroger Store in Nashville, TN, was a great find for us. It is a very good grocery store, was easy to locate and the checkers were extremely helpful to us. The prices were in the reasonable range, the produce was very crisp and fresh, and It uses the same point system as the Dillion’s Stores we are familiar with. It is a very clean, well managed store.

Kroger… We use Kroger because of the fuel points so it was good to find a store
When we were away from home.
Good selection and prices but not better than other large stores.
We use what we can find for a supermarket when we travel so it was good to see a trusted store.

This is the grocery store that we visit when we are at Grandma’s house. I find the best time to come in is early, never a big wait.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty nice produce department, complete with an organic section at reasonable prices. We also stocked up on some snacks and beer. The check out folks are extremely nice.
We will be back!

A good selection of fresh produce and meats, they even have a Sushi Chef rolling.
They do offer a pretty good selection of Gluten Free items.
This was a Busy Busy Store, however the manager knew to have extra people on-​hand and opened cash resisters as needed, so my wait to check out was not bad at all.

The Donelson Kroger is my neighborhood grocery store… and a fine one it is. It is an absolutely beautiful store since their recent remodel and their selection and pricing is second to none. Special kudos to the staff at their new Sushi bar — the sushi is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. My mom and dad were regular Kroger shoppers so I feel like I’ve spent a good deal of my life there. Please stop by our Donelson Kroger when you’re in the neighborhood. Support your community. You won’t be disappointed.
