Lunatic Fringe Melrose

Several friends told me about this place and thought I’d check it out. It was amazing. First off, there’s complimentary drinks and there is a free tree oil massage for the first visit. Also, Amanda was AWESOME. She really listened to me and definitely catered to what I wanted. She even styled my hair at the end and put on some complimentary makeup. I really enjoyed my experience and don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else to get my haircut/​styled!

I came to Lunatic Fringe after a HORRIBLE cut at Élan in Germantown shortly after moving to Nashville. LF is a great salon — chic, nice people, and good prices. Cherith does my ombré and always makes me look great.

I personally have had a great experience with the services at Lunatic Fringe. Thank you to Sydney and the rest of the staff for making the salon feel welcoming and fun. It is a great time to feel taken care of. I leave feeling redefined and refreshed after each visit. Sydney has a great eye for style and how it works best for each individual!

Amanda was amazing! I was really nervous about finding a new salon since I’m new to Nashville, but Amanda was so great. My cut and base/​highlight came out AMAZING. I’ve been getting my hair done in Los Angeles for years by some of the top hair stylists, and this was probably the best hi light I’ve had. She was so sweet and attentive. Definitely go see her!!! The rest of the staff was wonderful as well!

LOVED this place! The moment you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly face at the front desk. She offered me fresh brewed coffee from their french press, water, soda, etc. I chose the coffee which was delish!!! The stylist I saw was Cherith and she did an outstanding job! I have been a hair stylist for 7 years and have recently left the salon atmosphere to peruse dental hygiene. I have thick wavy hair that takes time. Cherith listened to what I wanted and did EXACTLY that! She is VERY thorough and explains what and why she is doing what she is doing. My hair color was amazing as well as my haircut! It honestly was one of the best haircuts I have had in a LONG time! I would most definitely recommend Cherith to anyone!

I have been getting my haircut by the same gal my entire life. I moved to Nashville 2 years ago and would just get my hair cut whenever I would go back home to LA… but those trips are too far apart and my hair started getting out of control. I made an appointment with Cherith at Lunatic Fringe and had a great experience! She is super sweet and gave me really good styling and product tips. She also didn’t let me leave without making sure that my cut was perfect, and told me to come back if there were any areas I was unhappy with and she’d fix them, no charge. Fortunately she did a great job, so there was no need!
The receptionist was also very nice, and they offered me french press coffee which was an added plus since I had an early appointment on a Saturday!
