On March 25^th I was involved in a collision,
I took my car to Lyk nu THAT AFTERNOON. (The 27^th) with my estimate, they told me they would start on my car Monday and give me call.
I would like to preface this next statement with the fact that the previous idiot who owned my car, cut out a piece of the bumper and two toned it. My insurance adjuster asked me if I wanted two tone paint, I specifically said no.
I called Lyk Nu on Wednesday to check on my car, because to my understanding it only needed a crash bar. Ashley told me that they found additional damage and were waiting on a supplement from my insurance, which was taking a long time because my adjuster was on vacation, once again she said she would call.

I called back on Friday, (noone called me) where Ashley told me that they had JUST finished the supplement and it got approved and they would have my car ready the following week and she would call me.
The following wednesday I called to check on my car (it was at this time I realized Ashley doesnt ever call anyone back. ever.) Ashley told me they had to send the bumper they ordered back because it was not up to their quality standards and had ordered a new one. That my car was ready to go and just needed the bumper and they said it would be there on Thursday and she would give me a call. I mentioned to her the piece that had been cut out of the bumper. (called crosshairs) I said I needed the crosshairs. She told me she didnt know what those were. I said its the CROSS at the bottom of the bumper, its the OEM bumper. She said if it was OEM, thats what was going on it.
Friday at 3pm, I called the shop. I was informed that my bumper had not been installed because supposedly the guy who was working on it had an emergency and at a BODY SHOP there was noone there who could put in the 16 screws that hold my bumper on. I told them I was coming to pick up my vehicle.
I got to the shop at 5pm. My car was NOT ready, and i was informed they had started to two tone paint it. Which i did not want. They told me they could repaint that section, which i agreed to.
THEN the guy Ashley brought in who was telling me this said, Oh yeah, and we even cut out that piece for you too!
The shop. Cut PIECES out of my BRAND NEW 550.00 BUMPER. I’ll admit, I got very angry. Mostly because I SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED to Ashley that I wanted the crosshairs! She kept saying «crosshairs isnt a body shop term» to which my argument is, obviously I was VERY concerned about the bumper when I spoke to her, so before you chop it up, wouldnt it have been prudent to CALL ME and make sure thats what I wanted?
It doesnt stop there. Oh no.
They told me I would have to get my insurance to call them to buy a new bumper, even though THEY are the ones who messed it up. So I left angry, but agreed.
That monday morning I called my adjuster, he spoke to them and at NO POINT did they apologize for cutting pieces away from my new bumper. My insurance, bought ANOTHER bumper, but because they choped up the only local ones they said it would be Thursday before I could pick up my car. I agreed.
SO at this point, it had been almost month, noone had EVER called me back, and noone apologized for the fact that its aken a month to put on a bumper and make my car look «Like new»
Wednesday I call, they say the bumper is there and they are painting it, I can pick up my car Friday and they will not be cutting it up. Fantastic.
Friday I go to pick up my car. I look it over initially. No big deal. Paint doesnt match AT ALL, but i figure it may need to fade a little. So i pay the 1100.00 and I leave.
The Neon srt4 is Turbo charged, so the entire car is pretty much vacuum lines. I notice, on my way home, that my car isnt idling right at all, and my vaccuum is 3 pounds lower than it is supposed to be, and everytime I turn on a turn signal, it blinks fast, like its out.
So i get home, and I pop the hood.
4 of my vacuum lines are COMPLETELY disconnected.
BOTH turn signals are UNATTACHED
and my bumper doesnt have ANY Oem fasteners in it. It is held on by MACHINE SCREWS one of which had already fallen out on the drive home.
So i call Ashley,. I explain to her my issues and she tells me «She’ll call me back» This was Saturday the 18^th of April
I pop my hood Sunday morning to check my oil, and the «BRAND NEW» paint is flaking off my bumper (pictures enclosed) It also has bubbles in it where it is obvious the bumper was still wet when painted.
I took my car up there Monday morning and once again explained to Ashley this needed to be remedied IMMEDIATELY.
She told me I had to fill out a warranty claim form (for a 2 day old paint job) and that someone would ABSOLUTELY CALL ME.
Noone has (as of today) So im disputing the charge on my card.

Came by here one Saturday because the bumper of my car had cracked and was thisclose to falling off. KC was doing some work even though the place was closed and he took one look at my bumper and told me to pull it in. He fixed it in no time at all and I absolutely recommend going there because this guy clearly knows his stuff. I got to watch as he worked and it was like watching a brain surgeon… well, what I imagine watching a brain surgeon would be like… the man was very focused, okay? Okay. So go if you need work done and ask for him. I feel good about it. I think you can, too.
