Martin’s Wrecker Service

Had to get my car towed to a dealer for repair. Dealer recommended Martin’s. Martin’s was at my location within 45 minutes and got it to the dealer without incident. I paid $ 135 for the tow (approximately 10 ½ miles). Seems expensive, but I have no idea what the going rate is. Driver was professional.

If you can avoid using this service, I strongly urge you not to!!! Our car was towed from our parking lot last night. Apparently our complex manager had them towed, so our issue was not that the car was towed, but when we tried to get further information, the guy was extremely rude and belligerent.
My fiancé called the towing company and asked why we were towed, from our complex, where our parking sticker was shown. The guy from the company said that he did not tow the car and I heard him screaming through the phone to my fiancé. My fiancé ended up hanging up on him, because he was being so obnoxious, and we went to the tow company.
When we arrived at the tow company, the guy was not there. We called the office phone and he said that he had left the building and did not know when he’d be back, because he was «handling something else». I called him again to ask for his ETA, and again he said that he did not know. We were left waiting outside (in 97 degree weather) for almost 20 minutes before he finally showed up.

So our car was towed to the dealership because we lost our keys and in the interim we we found them. So quickly calling the tow company back we found out they towed it. We get to the dealership and we found out they charged an extra $ 40 because of wait time… And they would NOT take a charge over the phone!!! REALLY!!! What kind of racket are they running here! DONT USE THESE SCHISTERS!!!

Traveling down Bell road in bumper to bumper traffic and witnessed a truck with this company’s logo (already towing one car so not headed TOWARD a wreck) proceed to drive down a heavily congested Bell road on the wrong side almost clipping 2 different cars. I immediately looked up the business number and called to report this crazy driver and the man who answered the phone all but called me a liar outright. Wouldn’t be surprised if this guy ends up killing someone today. Beware.

A local car dealership messed up my oil change by leaving the oil cap off for me to drive around town spilling oil as I went. They sent Martin’s Wrecker Service to pick my vehicle up from work and bring it in for repair. The man that retrieved my car was very kind but the service was obscenely slow and the time estimates continued to change while I waited for approximately 3 hours. Meh.
