Moore & Moore Garden Center

Love this place! If you need a garden center with a wide selection of well cared for plants and attentive and knowledgeable team members Moore and Moore is the place to go! Kim and Chris were wonderful. I brought in a bunch of photos of my yard Chris got me started and Kim who has been their longer and has years of experience suggested some plants and tips for caring for my garden. There was no pressure. I learned a lot from them, the tags on their plants are detailed (great for a newbie gardener like me). I left with the plants I needed and a boost of confidence from Kim. She assured me that I could do it and said if I needed help their team would be happy to come out. A very, very pleasant experience. I’ll be back for sure. I’ve found my go-​to garden center.

We had been going to Moore & Moore Garden Center ever since we came to Nashville. We had collected these Kit Kash coupons they gave us which are a complete gimmick. We were 2 days passed when they were good since the times they can be used are very odd. Duncan told us he wouldn’t honor them which is his prerogative as a business and as a consumer, it will be our prerogative never to go back.
Given we go there so often, the attitude in which he spoke to us made us feel like he really doesn’t care about us as a customer. We were extremely loyal customers and felt that Duncan was demeaning to us. We will never go back, there are other places that will treat their customers better.

While Moore & Moore offers a great variety of plants and planting containers, they are the most arrogant and aloof people I have ever come across. On several occasions I’ve had them speak to me only because I’ve looked them directly in the eye. Today drew the line when no one offered to help while I walked through their selections. One employee sat there and read her book on a bench rather than do her job — help a customer! I’m done and will not return.

They are serious about their flowers and customer service. Even if you don’t have something specific in mind, stop by. You almost certainly will be inspired by something they have!

I’m serious about my gardening.
Planting flowers every Spring is a big part of my yearly ritual so finding my «staple annuals» is important to me and in the past has been a hassle trying to find my favorites.
I found THE place at Moore & Moore. I went on my birthday (April 16) which in Tennessee is the perfect planting time. Old timers have always said, «Wait until after tax day to plant… you never know about the weather here until then.»
I usually have to go to 3 or 4 gardening centers to find my favorites, but one stop here was all it took.
I have many established perennials, but love the bright colors of annuals, and always add my preferences to the garden.
My favorites are usually hard to find in one place, but wasn’t the case here. I immediately filled my basket with sweet potato vines, ivy, vinca, lavender (several different varieties), primrose, dahlias, petunias, etc.
One stop and no searching. The people here are friendly and very helpful. I was on crutches when I went. To save me many steps, they took my cart and credit card and took care of everything for me.
This is now my «go to place» for any flowers, herbs or plants.
Moore & Moore is a beautiful place, and feels not only like a nursery but a peaceful secret garden.
They have an overwhelming selection of plants, trees and flowers, they carry beautiful unique yard art, wind chimes, fountains and pots.
The only problem you may have here is trying to keep from buying one of EVERYTHING…
