They have almost everything, even helpful employees. The first time we went looking for colored sugar and struck out. The next time for baking supplies, including catering type carriers. Not only did they have what we needed, but it was also very very reasonable. This will be my first stop from now on. They really do have a wide selection. And empty boxes you can take.

After going in to L and L discount restaurant equipment further up the road, coming in here was a BREATHOFFRESHAIR! First, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Calvin(I think I’m remembering his name right) and welcomed in. He told me they had a supply of 6,000 items in store but could order up to 11,000 more, so if there was anything I didn’t see to ask and it could probably be delivered. He was so nice and all of the other employees were helpful too. They have a decent selection of kitchen equipment at good prices. I saw everything from LARGE cooking pots to pizza cutters to plastic trays to bartending jiggers. There is an entire row of paper/plastic plates and cuttlery option. I found a jumbo bag of paper jello shot and or ketchup cups that I was looking for. Party supplies are in the back corner and are organized by color. I can’t imagine needing anything they don’t have. The bulk of the store(pun intended) is the monster jumbo large sized food items. They have a plethora of items from dry goods(rice, flour) to packaged foods(franks red hot sauce, marachino cherries) to frozen(cookie dough, ribs). It is all priced reasonably. I’m not really sure that the prices are so wonderful but they certainly are fair and I think the ability to cut down on waste from having to buy lots of little packages vs buying a commercial sized item is a good thing. I will certainly be back here, I only wish that this was located closer to where I live rather than downtown nashville.

Do you need an 8-pound bag of Ore-Ida crinkle fries? Or an 11-pound slab of Callebaut chocolate? A 50-pound sack of flour? Or a 10-pound box of Sysco burger patties? You can find all of those things and more here. I was looking for cardboard bakery boxes, which they did have in many sizes, but only in packs of 250. In the far corner of the store they have party supplies such as paper plates, napkins, balloons, and tablecloths organized by color, in pretty much any color you can imagine. I don’t know about their prices, though — a gallon of milk(regular, not organic) was priced at $ 4.99 when it can be found at any regular grocery store for about $ 3. Some of the bulk-packaged things might come out a bit cheaper per pound compared to regular grocery store sizes but perhaps not that much. The staff was helpful pointing me to the item I was looking for. It was interesting to browse and I might go back for party supplies and the novelty of gawking at giant packages of food but that’s about it.
