Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits

I used to go here about once every two weeks or so because the food was always great, and the staff is generally good. Recently though, I’ve had to wait longer and longer each time I’ve gone there. Tonight, I went through the drive thru and they told me it would take 7 minutes for the Apple Pies to be ready, and I was fine with waiting. So I pulled forward and waited. and waited. and waited. I waited for THIRTY MINUTES before I finally went inside and they gave me my Goddamn Apple Pie. I don’t know if they forgot about me or if the fryers actually take three times longer than they expect, but fuck that. I won’t be going to Popeyes for a very VERY long time after that. I asked if I could get a new meal (because my old meal had basically gotten cold) and they told me the spicy strips would be ready in 4 minutes. Not wanting to make my overall time there close to an hour, I left. Corporate Popeyes will be hearing from me.
