If I could give this business zero stars I would. I placed an order to have flowers delivered four days before the scheduled delivery date. Received a confirmation email almost immediately. Then on the afternoon of the scheduled delivery I receive an automated email saying my order would not be delivered because of a lack of a florist. Why are you sending a confirmation email if you’re not going to follow through? And why wait until the afternoon of delivery to tell me they won’t be delivered. If you want to ruin someone birthday pick this business. I should’ve read the reviews before choosing this business. Seems like everyone has had the same experiences as myself.

I placed an online order for flowers to be delivered to my sister for her birthday from Queen Anne Florist 3 days prior to the requested delivery date. I specifically searched for a local florist to insure that the flowers would arrive as an arrangement(v. in a box), and one that was relatively close to the delivery address to insure that I the location would be within a reasonable delivery radius. I received a confirmation email that the order had been received, with confirmation of the delivery address, my phone number, and the recipient’s phone number. On the delivery date, nothing was delivered and neither I nor the recipient was contacted by the florist. I tried calling the local and toll free phone numbers listed on the website repeatedly and neither number worked; both numbers went to an automated prompt that never connected to a person or even a voice message system. I tried contacting them through the form on their«Contact Us» page and, at this point, have still received no response.

I just received my Valentine’s flowers from Queen Anne. I will go ahead and say that I’m very grateful for the thought and the flowers are very pretty. However, the pain it took to have them delivered is a different story. I received a phone call from the delivery guy. He was angry because he could not find me at the address. The address they were given was obviously wrong, and when I told him this he barked«well, are you going to come here?» I explained that I had no idea where he even was, and he got very angry that he had to bring my flowers to another address. So angry, in fact, that he hung up on me, leaving me with no clue as to where or if my flowers would be delivered. Three minutes later he called me back, and when he got frustrated with me again he simply gave the phone to a lady with him. She apologized for the way in which he behaved, but the damage was done. I’m sorry that they were given the wrong address, but that was not my fault. Receiving flowers is supposed to be a nice surprise. This guy made me feel terrible for something that had nothing to do with me. He was rude and he hung up on me(something a business should never do to a customer). I know it’s Valentine’s day(which happens to be my birthday as well), but that was no excuse for the way in which I was treated. Please, do not send your loved one flowers from this place unless you want them to be berated and insulted.

I was in a spot trying to find corsages for Mother’s Day, and was not having any luck. I finally found Queen Anne and thought my day was saved. Boy, was I wrong! First, walking into the store does not create a good first impression. It has a crowded, cluttered look that I most associate with Southern junk stores, and had the dusty, musty old smell to match. No flower shop should smell like old dust. I was in a hurry, and I wouldn’t say that I received prompt service. For the most part, the woman seemed mildly disinterested and surprised/confused since I walked in and didn’t order online. Do they get so little business that a walk-in is surprising? Despite the funky smell, I order two corsages. Again, the woman seems discombobulated by the fact that I’m standing there ordering flowers. I decide to go with a simple arrangement of pink carnations with white ribbon. She quotes me a price of $ 15.99 each, which I thought sounded about right since carnations aren’t exactly an expensive flower. After a few minutes, she comes back and tells me she quoted me the wrong price(The price was for boutineers). Instead of $ 15.99 each, it was going to be $ 39.99! Holy cow! For carnations? Needless to say, Rebel Hill got my business that day.

I was looking online to order flowers for my aunt’s funeral, found a wreath that I liked that had the price quoted and called them directly to order. Whoever answered the phone said the website hadn’t been updated and now the same wreath was $ 50 more… even though I could have just ordered it online for the original price. Poor busines ethics if you ask me. They offered to make a «cheaper» version for me with different flowers. Not interested. So I simply hung up and called Rebel Hill Florist who was AMAZING and had my order done in less than 5 minutes at a better price.
