Regis Salon

JP is amazing. I have been to practically every high-​end salon in town for a decade, & they have all managed to screw up my hair. I have thick, dark, Italian hair, & while living in LA & NYC, I had better luck finding a talented stylist with my type of hair compared to finding one here in the «land of blondes», which was a bust. Until JP. He’s taken me to every color my heart desires & given me the exact cuts & styles I’m looking for. He’s kept the integrity of my hair throughout my constantly changing mind & just gets it. All while being a fascinating, kind, authentic gentleman. Thank you JP for making me feel beautiful!

I got my haircut on Saturday and I’ve had at least four comments on how nice it looks. My kids and I all get our hair cut there. Udom does a fantastic job on my hair, and Keith did a wonderful job on my son’s hair, which is a bit difficult to cut well. I’ll keep coming here as long as Udom stays!

I came in for Ombré and my stylist, I believe his name is John, not sure though, told me he had never done ombré before but he’ll try. He spent two hours trying and he screw up. And he admitted it.
I told me him that I’m not happy and it’s not what I came for (he was trying to convince me that it still looks good). He ended up charging me a minimum (like $ 35), but was complaining pretty loud (so I can hear it) to his colleague that he isn’t gonna make any money out of it, so I felt obligated to tip him. Which I didn’t want at first, because he wasted my time, still charged me, even a little, and fuc*ed up my hair.

After reading the many positive reviews I drove to Regis tonight to get my eyebrows waxed. Now I understand most people are going for hair but I still wanted to share my experience with the customer service. I walked in and there were two stylists washing hair and they both looked my direction as I stood there. I stood there for a couple minutes waiting to be helped and finally one of them came to the front desk. I asked them for an eyebrow wax. He told me that yes they provide that service but the guy who does the waxing already left. I expressed my frustration that they did not close for another two hours and they should have it posted on there website somewhere if they are not going to provide that service until close. There was no apology or sympathy whatsoever. Needless to say, I drove over twenty minutes to a salon to not have any service provided and then twenty minutes home disappointed.

I followed hairstylist Barbara here from another shop and wouldn’t have my hair cut by anyone else. She really knows what she’s doing and treats you like a human being, not just another «head in the chair.» She has a great personality and could probably bring the most introverted person out of his or her shell, never to be the same again! Go and experience Barbara, the person, and Barbara, the stylist. You won’t be disappointed!

I have rarely been made to feel this welcome the first time I walked into a salon. I needed someone to blow my hair out once weekly as my regular stylist had left the profession. I was given to David, who did exactly as I asked. Not only did I leave with beautifully styled hair; I also had a terrific time talking with David & Mason, another stylist. LOVE the friendly vibes, the beautiful hairstyle and the affordable price. I am a new «regular»! Do not be afraid of parking at the mall. .park in the Dillards garage or take advantage of the valet.

AMAZING :) Go see Tony he simply is the best … He did exactly what I wanted and even better then what I wanted … So kind everyone there don’t waste your money at any other salon !!

After reading the other reviews for Regis, it sounds like many of us have the same story… we came to Regis for a quick-​fix, but the stylists made us regular customers! If that’s not an amazing business model– I don’t know what is!
I had just moved to Nashville three years ago. I was in desperate need of a haircut and happened to be in the Green Hills mall. I’ve seen Regis Salons all over the U.S. and knew they had a pretty good reputation, so I thought I’d go in for a cut/​style until I could find someone more permanent.
That is until I met JOHN PRYOR. He is AMAZING! I love the way he styles my hair– heck, I love how he shampoos it! He gives a natural scalp massage during your wash– and treats your hair with tender love and care. I’m always showered with compliments after I go see him. He’s also great with wavy/​curly hair, which I think is a special skill in itself. I’ve sent my friends there who have also become «regulars.» Since I met John, I haven’t looked back! Plus, you can’t beat the price ($ 39 for a shampoo/​cut).

I have to update my review to reiterate that Mason rocks! I love my new cut and he did a fantastic job with my highlights. All this at around half what I have paid elsewhere.

I happened to wander in to this Regis shortly after moving to Nashville. New to town and in desperate need of a hair cut I figured I’d see if they could get me in when I walked by on my way to pick something up at the mall. I will definitely be back!
On a Sunday afternoon, wandering in with no appointment I was in a chair within 2 minutes. David took great care of me. They were the perfect combo of friendly/​laid back and professional. I ended up with a great cut, which is not always the case given my wavy/​curly hair, and the cost was super reasonable.

I needed a cut quickly since I had done an Edward Scissorhands to myself in desperation. Being a 50– yr old woman who had had the same hair for twenty years, I feared the «old lady cut.» Nathan to the rescue! He worked me in right away, made me look fifteen years younger and was a dream about the whole nightmare. I can’t recommend him highly enough. He’s an artist!

I have been going to this salon for about 6 years. John colors my hair, and I would not have anyone else do it. He does an amazing job!

Out of convenience I stumbled onto this needle in a haystack (a.k.a. Nashville)!
I moved to Nashville not to long ago looking for a hairstylist that knows how to cut Asian hair well. I used to frequent a place in Cool Springs that was much cheaper than Regis, but I was getting sick of the long drives just for a haircut.
Since Regis was the closest haircut place to my apartment, I gave this place a try knowing that I spotted an Asian lady working there. So, here I am two years later, happy and more than ever satisfied with my haircuts. Yes, the haircuts are pricy, especially for a men’s haircut, but the hairstylist, Udom R. is friendly and definitely knows how to cut Asian hair. She also does really good scalp massages during the shampoo and wash.
(Quick Tip: Which by the way, if you’re just want a relaxing shampoo and scalp massage, she’ll do that for pretty cheap)
For the price and the quality of the haircut and especially the scalp massages, I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Nashville!

This place will give you the best haircut of your life. All the stylists are very good but Brittany is the best. She is very talented and very friendly.
