Rivergate Nails

This place is terrible. I wouldn’t take my dog there!!! I went to remove and reapply gel nails. The guy destroyed my nails getting them off and then they hardly had any colors to choose from. They still charged me $ 15 for the removal. Terrible service. Their license needs to be pulled.

I came in with a friend for a mani/​pedi over the weekend. The nail techs injured both of us during the pedicures while working on our cuticles by grabbing the skin while it was still attached and pulling it off rather than trimming it. When it came to the manicure session, the nail tech would not allow my friend to paint her nails the color that she wanted not because she was not able to do what my friend was asking, but because she didn’t want to. The mani/​pedis were not cheap and my friend is suffering pain on her toe and is watching the cuticle to see if the pain is from the skin-​pulling or if she has gotten an infection from the pedicure. There is no chance that I would return.

I had to get a refill on my nails and this was in the area i currently was in, so i stopped. there was one of there person there and so there was no wait. the appointment started off good, she was friendly (Ping i believe she said) she talked me into upgrading to gel nails, started all over and getting a manicure too. ($ 65)
im not one who gets their nails done often, getting married soon so thought it would look nice. so i wasnt sure if you were suppose to feel so much pain through out the session. i was near tears half the time and kept saying ouch and pulling my hands back. her reason was that i wanted a certain shape (square with thin sides) I am mad that i didnt say anything while i was there and although i was bleeding (which seems crazy) I still didnt think it was that bad, until the next day. it is now 3 days out, they are swollen, scabbed over, red… horrible! :(

Great service! I came into the shop close to closing time and she stayed and performed all of the services I requested. And instead of trying to rush through any of them, she took her time and did an excellent job.
