What a great place to unwind! The food is above your average bar food. The view of the golf course is great. You can catch live music here on weekends, or just enjoy the locals that frequent. Close enough to town, but if you don’t want to drive you can spend the night in one of their gorgeous condos.

I can only speak for the resort, not the course. Stayed in winter, with a frozen parking lot. Not salted. Watched a vehicle slide down the ice lot and slightly missed another car. Our bed was hard as a rock. Kind of amusing, as we had a friend stay and tell the story, as she ran to fall and bounce on the bed. Yet she hit a flat hard surface, like plywood. Laughing about it, once we arrived to our room, our bed was seriously hard. There was no bounce. Laughing at who was taking the sofa, we did like our view of the course, and the hospitality of the staff was wonderful. But they could seriously invest in some matresses.

We had the best weekend! My husband, 2 kids and I visit Brown County a few times a year, but we don’t stay overnight very often. On a whim we booked a condo at Salt Creek. It was so perfect for us, the kids had their own room– such a luxury compared to a regular hotel room. The price wasn’t much different than that of the hotel rooms in town and we had our own kitchen and everything! I’m already making plans in my head for a big family get together out there. I was so impressed. We played golf, took an early morning walk down the cart path, shopped in town, and ate at their restaurant downstairs and listened to the live band. Kids can be in there til a certain time, I think it’s 9pm. The music kept them entertained enough that we were able to stay longer. It seemed like a pretty busy place. We will definitely visit again and bring friends.

Good food and good service. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would return again. Great Tenderloins and burgers.

We ALWAYS stay here when visiting Brown County. It’s definitely got that«home away from home» feel. Great staff, very accommodating. We’ve traveled here with family, friends, and as a couple’s getaway– I really recommend this to anyone who wants more than a hotel room when going to Nashville. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, lovely golf course views, swimming pool. Our last stay was this past Memorial Day weekend– it’s nice for us to stop by the condo in between 9 holes to have lunch or go to their 19th Hole(great fish tacos and chicken salad sandwiches!!) Beautiful golf course, large pro shop… The Lodge has very good rates, don’t let«condo» scare you away, it’s really not that much more than a hotel room.

We were just married here and it was fabulous. The planner, Jennifer, was very thorough and detail-oriented which made for a very UNstressful wedding experience, especially planning from out-of-state. The staff is used to weddings and know how to make everything work. Salt Creek bent over backwards to make sure the meal was ready on time, greeted the cake«lady», even provided a caramel apple bar for us. I would pick Salt Creek a million times over and would highly recommend the venue for other brides.

I love this place! I always look forward to a relaxing weekend away at Salt Creek. Nashville is in Brown County which is BEAUTIFUL — especially in the fall. If you go there in the fall then book ahead. We like to go down to Salt Creek and rent a condo– yes. . condos! They have kitchens, washers and dryers, etc. All the condos are pretty new construction and very nicely decorated. They have patios or balconies that overlook the golf course. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. They also have a great pool which makes it a fun family place. The restaurant — The Brown Co. Steak and Seafood Company– is AMAZING. They have awesome steaks and I’ve had their lunch salads. You can tell that they definitely cater to the Bloomington crowd– their food is way above«par». They have a full bar– watch out, the bloody marys will get ya. They are spicy. Also they have a casual bar/grill downstairs by the pro shop called The 19th Hole. It’s more like a sports bar where you can grab a sandwich. At night, there’s no need to go into«town” — the 19th Hole is a hot spot– they have poker tournaments and karaōke BABY! Hah. We’ve had a lot of fun there. I don’t even golf and we go down to Nashville just to get away at Salt Creek. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Make sure to book early if you want to stay there or eat there.
