Sculpted Edge

I have been a client of Hannah’s for the past 2 years. After moving from Houston in 2012 and spending my first year in Nashville looking for my perfect hairstylist I got a recommendation for the Sculpted Edge. I can truly say she is one of the best hair professionals I have ever encountered. She listens to my needs and actually produces what we talk about. She gets me. I have texted her many times to tell her how much I love my hair (weeks after getting it done) and that is seriously the best feeling ever!

April saved my life! Lol… I love vibrant color and after a mishap with my stylist that resulting in a boring color and serious damage to my hair, April made it better :)
She added the perfect shade of Violet/​Cherry to my hair, gave me a great trim and some tips on how to mend the damage to my locks.
I’m only in Nashville a few weeks and will be sad that I won’t be here long enough to visit her again.

The salon is conveniently located in Midtown right by all of the happening restaurants. The appointment was easy to make and everything went as scheduled. April cut my hair just right along with a shampoo and condition that took some tension away. I was offered a choice of beverage, but I stayed with a water because I don’t drink alcohol during the day. Go see April for a great hair cut and conversion.

I’m picky for a guy, and I’ve been looking for someone in Nashville to style and cut my hair for a while. Men, look no further! Sculpted Edge is the bomb. I called and Hannah set me up with April on a Tuesday afternoon. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she sculpted my hair to perfection. No rush – excellent cut, style, and wash. The salon has a great vibe also, lots of colors and chandeliers. I’m definitely going back, and highly recommend April’s services to anyone (especially men) looking for an excellent haircut! I live in Clarksville and this salon is well worth the hour drive! After a bad dye job and being charged far too much I found this salon! April is absolutely amazing! She is super friendly and the salon has a personal feel about it, small and quiet. I would recommend her to anyone especially those who bleach their hair and want that perfect platinum blonde!

Are there enough adjectives to describe how awesome this place is!!! Hanna did an amazing job on Abbi Scott’s hair for a downtown music event & April handled makeup. These ladies rocked it. You feel like you’ve stepped in a swanky little secret shop complete with gorgeous chandeliers.

Yes. YES. My co-​worker/​girlfriend recommended I go see Hannah. Thank you, Whitney! «She’s THE BEST and will listen and talk to you about what you want and what will work,» is what she said after I raved about her new hair and talked about my unhappiness with other salons in town. Every time I go somewhere, they tell me they won’t give me the cut I want or that it won’t look good. But I don’t want the boring cut you’re going to give me! Anywho, I called up Hannah and was already eager based on our phone conversation. When I went to the appointment, I was greeted by a super duper friendly and awesome Hannah, April, and special guest for the day, Addy the pup! I expressed all of my desires to Hannah, showed her some pictures and she did her thang. Yes. YES. I typically find myself in a salon where I feel rather insecure and don’t like to talk. Not here. I felt so at home and welcomed and all 3 of us chatted the entire 1.5 hours. I didn’t want to leave, except to be able to go show off my new, luxurious locks. I wish I had these girls as real life friends! As we went along with the cut, Hannah asked for my feedback and I felt so comfortable letting her know if I wanted change this or that, cut more here, there, everywhere. She was all about letting me make the calls and translating those into gorgeously cut hairs. I’ve never (never!) made a follow-​up appointment after a haircut, until now. I slotted in my next appointment and plan to do so for-​ev-​er. I’ve had several compliments on my hair and have already recommended her to friends. I should have done a before/​after, but you’re just going to have to trust me!

I’ve always been a groupon girl when it comes to haircuts. I was referred to Hannah by a friend and initially went because it was right next door to my work. I will never go to another hairstylist again so long as I live! Hannah does a great and attentive job with my hair every time! I’ve referred friends to her, and they all love her as well.

Hannah is the best! She always does such a great job and I really enjoy the time that I get to spend with her! I would definitely recommend her!

I went to Sculpted Edge last week, and I cannot give it enough praise. Hannah, the salon’s owner and stylist is extremely personable and really cares about giving you the style you want. I wanted to do something a little drastic with my hair (lightened color, shorter, with bangs), and she was coaching me every step of the way. She really took care to make sure that she knew what I wanted and that I would be comfortable with the final product. She even cut my bangs slightly long so that I could «get used to them» and then offered to cut them again once I felt I was sure of the decision.
Her demeanor is so refreshing. So often, you are herded in and out of a salon and then you end up looking in the mirror with something you aren’t 100% sure of. Hannah makes sure that doesn’t happen. She really takes time to get to know you and your style and communicate with you. Hands down, Sculpted Edge is the best hidden gem in Nashville. I’ll continue going for sure!

I am a fairly new transplant into town and needed to find a good stylist. I have thick, wavy hair and I was nervous about going to someone new. I was lucky to be referred to Hannah. She listened to my thoughts and made some suggestions. She put me at ease. She did a great job and I would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a new stylist. The shop is very cool and has a great relaxed vibe. Another plus is that Hannah is a very friendly person and I really enjoyed our conversation during my time there.

Recently moved to Nashville and was in need of a cut. I literally researched every place and also called for pricing/​comparison and luckily went with Sculpted Edge and Hannah. First off, the price was reasonable and definitely worth every cent. Hannah was super nice and a pleasure to interact with. Her space is comfortable and extremely relaxing. I have been trying without success to get a specific type of cut for the past 2 years and every other stylist was unable to deliver but Hannah more than nailed it and I will without question be going back to Hannah as soon as it is time for cut number two. Stoked about finding such a talent and Hannah is AMAZING!

Hannah is hands down my favorite stylist that I’ve visited. I’ve done the hop around to different salons because I’ve never been super excited about one particular cut, nor have I ever really clicked with someone that much. But I’ve found MY stylist in Hannah. She’s incredibly genuine and listens very attentively to what you’re looking for, making suggestions along the way that help broaden your perspective or add in new and cool ideas about stuff to do. She’s very knowledgeable and thorough. She’s great with curly hair and she’s always got awesome music playing in her salon. :)
I’ve ended up referring quite a few friends to her and each one has come back with a glowing review as well!

Hannah has been cutting my hair for about a year now and I am so so happy I have found her! I moved here from CA about three years ago and was going from stylist to stylist, each time, leaving disappointed. I’m really picky with my hair, and it’s a lot to handle. I went to Hannah, and I was the first time in a while I was able to leave a salon and not rush home to try and fix it! She is so sweet, talented, and awesome and consistent! Now she cuts my husbands hair too and it always looks fantastic! I would recommend her to anyone and I am so excited she now has her own salon!
