Buyer Beware! This business has terrible business practices and horrible customer service. I bought a pair of $ 120 ballroom shoes from them. One of the shoes buckles underfoot. The first time I went to return them, I waited 10 minutes for the staff to emerge from the back room. The second time, I spoke with the owner and showed her how the shoes buckle. I left the shoes with her to check with the manufacturer on replacement. She«lost my number.» Neither Spells or the manufacturer would replace the shoe. So now I am out $ 120 and I have no dance shoes. Dancers warned me not to buy from them and I did not listen. I learned a very hard and expensive lesson. Don’t waste your hard earned money at this store.

I went here looking to buy ballroom dance shoes. They are hard to find, but gave me directions when I called. There is a sign on the front door saying there will be a $ 15 fitting fee if you buy your shoes online. Not a great first impression; seems like a better approach would be «We will price match online prices with an additional fitting fee.». The clerk that helped me was OK, not particularly friendly, and seemed to be dismissive of me before we even started. The shoes I tried on seemed to be frequently tried on and showed signs of wear, and those are the shoes one would be buying. She claimed that they don’t make dance shoes in wide width, she didn’t even ask about it or see if she could order them.(Amazon has wide sizes in the same brand/style, so it seems it is possible). I try to shop local but this place fell short. On the upside, the store seems to have a nice selection of dance clothing and shoes. They were over staffed for a weekday afternoon — three staff members to me as the only shopper, so you are sure to get individual attention.
