I must admit that I have never eaten at any of the other Sylvan Parks, but if this one is any indication, I’m not sure why they have grown. It occupies where the Dinner Bell used to be located. The Dinner Bell was less expensive and way better food. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything redeeming about the meal I had. Everything from the meat to the beans to the cornbread was overcooked and dry. The coleslaw wasn’t good either. I could write this off to a singular bad experience except my wife has gone twice with co-workers and has stated it was bad both times. A friend has also gone and they too had a bad experience.

Sylvan Park has moved to The Crossings at 2278 Lebanon Pike in the former location of the Olé Dinner Bell. I was unpleasantly surprised upon my first dining experience at Sylvan Park this evening. The prices were compatible to Cracker Barrel but the portions were tiny. My Country Fried Steak was actually Baked Steak and Gravy. My wife’s dinner portion of Chicken & Dumplings was smaller than the side order portion at Cracker Barrel. The food was tasty — don’t get me wrong — but I left hungry after dropping nearly $ 20 between my wife’s meal and my own. And the servers were friendly and kept checking back. But I can’t honestly recommend this to anyone looking for a good meat and three.
