The Flats at Taylor Place

The staff has been so great and easy to work with while my boyfriend and I tried to find an apartment to move into. We worked mainly with Shannon and she was so helpful in answering all our questions and showing us many options of floor plans available! She would very easy to get a hold of or to schedule time with. The application process was very quick and easy and they kept you up to date the whole time. We are so excited to move here in a few weeks! Thanks again!

Five Stars hand’s down! My husband and I have been so impressed with the on-​site team (Sarah, Kendal, Jessi, Josh, Erik, Lisa and Nelson!), the design and amenities of the community, and of course, the location. Also, our neighbors are the best! We couldn’t be happier — The Flats at Taylor Place is absolutely THE place to live in Nashville!

First I believed everything was nice and some things are such as the lounge and outdoors but… Until we started waking up to Fire Alarm at 3am and it wasn’t just once… It happened about 3 times this winter and we had to wait outside for 20 – 30 mins…
Second, We experienced a horrible experience in out apartment… water falling from our ceiling. We called maintenance about the leak when it first started. He said it will be okay and wait til tomorrow and they will come to fix it… ehh well we woke up at 4am and the whole hall way was pouring and in our living room side =(… It was not pretty and I was very upset… We called many times about this leak and then finally they came around 8am. They said we can stay at another apartment for 5 days until they finished fixing our studio. When they said we could come back everything was a mess and paint dust everywhere and on our sofa. They said everything was going to be cleaned and that was not done.
Third, We decided to move to a 1bd apt and wanted to move on the 30^th before my family came so they can stay for the night and have more space. They would not let us move on the 30^th. only on May 1^st. which is only one day and they have been holding the room for us since April 21^st! they said if we move in on the 30^th they will charge us double rent for our studio and the new apt… not only that… we have to pay $ 500 fee for transfer fee. After all the crap we been through here… This place is so hungry for money… They really don’t care about the residents here in the building. We never complained about the leak or the mess… we cleaned it ourselves. and moved on but this is so ridiculous… They are rude… I cant wait til our lease is over…

When I moved to The Flats of Taylor Place, I was expecting a nice place to live in a cool neighborhood that is conveniently located close to all that Nashville has to offer. Thanks to the wonderful staff, residents and amenities, my experience has been even better than I could’ve imagined.
I can’t say enough about the FTP staff. They keep they place in great shape, hired a wonderful CARES team in the Benefields’ to throw great social events and go the extra mile by providing people and dog treats, coffee and a lot of friendly greetings on a daily basis. Lisa, Josh, Eric, Jessie, Sarah and the awesome newest member of the staff make up an all star team.
I’ve made some amazing friends at FTP. From day one, FTP made meeting new buds easy by organizing social events through it’s CARES team. Unlike rather lame events that I’ve experienced at other places, these involved local bars, restaurants and even gyms. For example, we enjoyed wine and cupcakes from the cupcake collection, did a happy hour down the street at the picnic tap and a crossfit place came and gave us a free workout. If you’re a single lady in town, you should know that Nashville’s most eligible bachelor, Jonathan Chu resides on the 4^th floor. He’s a talented and charming lad that cooks, entertains, holds a black belt for safety purposes only and he can be found in the flats gym regularly.
The amenities are the best in town. We have a gym that is so nice it will make you drop your membership, a clubroom that everyone uses for it’s great kitchen, living room and pool table. The pool is going to be unbelievable when it is finished with the next month. Free wifi in clubroom. Free treats for dogs and humans in the lobby. Free coffee machine that is really nice with options for espresso and cappuccino. If you’re hung up on price, know that these amenities end up saving money when you don’t need to buy coffee or have a gym membership. It’s also a money saver when you can stay in and have fun in the club room instead of going out.
As for the review from Rob about the fire alarms at night. I was there for both that went off. Both were false alarms that were set off during the night. Unfortunately these types of things happen and when they do happen, you have no way of knowing if there is an actual danger. Would you rather not have proper equipment and sleep through a real fire, Rob?
FTP is a great place that I would proudly recommend to anyone.

Love this place and the area so far! I can’t wait for the pool to be finished so we aren’t staring at a hole in the ground, but staff is so sweet and kind. & the gym is the best I’ve seen out of any apartment we have lived in so far.
