I called from out of town to order flowers for my friend’s Bridal shower. The place was recommended to me by the restaurant. I never got a chance to even place my order due to the worst customer service treatment I received over the phone. The person sounded snooty and did not want to talk about various arrangements they could offer me. She sounded offended that I even asked about difference price points. I was told this is «not how we do business»… «we are the best in business and do not need to advertise». I was also told If i did not know this, I should call some other place… Which I did. Where people were happy to take my money! Maybe my friend missed out on «the best flowers in Nashville»… But I certainly felt a lot better dealing with someone who still believed in little thing called customer service.

When u need an impressive and special arrangement this is who you call. They are pricey but you get what you pay for.

It’s funny… reading the other reviews. I’ve lived in Nashville since the early ‘90s, and whenever I’m situations with lots of different arrangements and I ask about the prettiest ones, it was always«They’re from the Tulip Tree.» So, that’s how I started using them. And over the years, they have been an unimpeachable source of good stems that don’t wild and flowers that last, tasteful arrangements, nice palettes of color(when I don’t get all white). Because they do a lot of «events,» it’s possible the person who saw all the red roses didn’t realize they were accounted for for something else. I’ve had it happen to me… and that’s the reality of a cooler out in the open. Over the years, I’ve received dreadful flowers from Emma’s and the like, lots of carnations swapped for what was ordered. the Tulip Tree never uses cheap replacements when they don’t have what’s used(it’s called the«stem rule,» and it’s an accepted floral industry practice of swapping a stem-for-a-stem when something is not available. Not to mention, they have the loveliest orchids in Nashville, which not only last a long time, but often rebloom. Maybe it’s a matter of some prefer subtle, some prefer outlandish. But, with a mother who spent years as a florist, I want quality, I like the beauty of the arrangement and flowers to not club me over the head and I know in almost 20 years they’ve never let me down.

I was in a pinch to get some beautiful flowers to my Mother-in-Law who lives in Nashville and so when I heard that The Tulip Tree was one of the nicer florists in the area, I thought PERFECT! Kenny was very friendly and helpful over the phone, but when I saw the photo of the arrangement later I thought it looked more like a $ 40 grocery store arrangement not one that I paid for $ 75 for. It’s too bad as I order flowers fairly often for all of the benchmark holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Just wanted to warn anyone else who may be considering using The Tulip Tree in the future.

I called and asked for a dozen red roses. The man who answered said they didn’t have red so I chose a different color. When I arrived there were buckets or red roses in the refrigerator. Not a good feeling to be lied to. Will not use them again. The
