Not that many arcade games and most of them were broken. They did have some booths in front of TV’s with consoles, which was good. Overall, just felt like a bar with a couple of video games, nothing much different than all the other bars on that street.

Cool ambiance, great local beer selection, average American style food. I got a basic chopped salad which wasn’t anything special. They have a random games at each table, which is a cool ice breaker. Seems like a cool hangout place to come with friends.

Atmosphere: We had a rather large group here during the day and parking can be a challenge if you’re looking for it on the street — otherwise be ready to pay at the lot. You walk in with a similar bar vibe as the rest of the bars in the area however you notice that you’re surrounded by arcade machines and board games. Service: We were late for our reservations(large group) but they didn’t seem to mind. I felt like our waitress was only one of two working but she did an excellent job. Food: N/A Drinks: They have a variety of beers and cocktails on the menu. I mostly stuck to the beers but they had a nice selection of local beers to choose from if that’s your thing. Overall: I definitely see myself coming back here. I’ll have to dig into the food next time!

We had a blast here. Drinks are good, service was good, atmosphere was loud but good. Food was decent but portion size was a bit small. Best part of this bar is all the fun things to do here. Free video games and table games really add to the fun atmosphere.

Really fun and cool bar with all the games you could ever want to play. Great place to have a first date. Service fast and friendly. Food is typical bar food but good bar food. Went for trivia night and it filled up pretty quickly.

Fried pickles are good. The games are a heap of fun. All old school. No quarters required. Great beer selection. I guess it is good for kids up until 9. They have X box, PS4 and Nintendo game cube at each booth

Max the bartender was awesome!!! Gave us out of towners a couple of tastings from local breweries. Wednesday afternoon and pretty slow at the bar because of the crappy weather. Would you like to know why the 2 star rating? The manager made quite the scene about the fact that we had brought in our service dog. Hey lady… We can’t sit on your patio because it’s raining. Don’t get us wrong, we are use to people saying no dogs but a.) she’s a service dog 2.) don’t be rude. Thanks Max for the awesome service and local recommendations!!! Thanks manager lady, for showing true Nashville southern hospitality. Just change the way you speak to your customers… sometimes sugar gets more than spice.

We grabbed brunch here one day. I enjoyed the hash, which includes plenty of vegetables and Gruyère cheese — yum! Their breakfast cocktails aren’t to be missed!

Awesome atmosphere with free games. You get to play kids games while you get drunk… What more could you ask for?! They also have bacon popcorn. I’m setting up a bed in the back and living here.

Ummmm. Only our 2nd stop in Nashville & holy hell. So. Good. I love me a video game bar… I realllly enjoy schooling my boyfriend at PacMan or any other 80s arcade game whenever possible. In Chicago, we have a huge video game bar in our ‘hood, but what they are lacking(amazing food, excellent beers, Michael Jackson circa 1979 music videos), Two Bits has. Popcorn. You need this in your life. It tastes like BBQ Frito’s. Fried Pickles. I’ve only ever had dill spears made like this… the chip-format that they have is so much better. Tater-tots-on-a-potato-skin. That’s right. Get that, too. We came. We saw. We drank. We ate. We Cards-Against-Humanity’d.

Walked in and got a booth. Never had a server show up, so we left after 15 minutes. I guess they expect you to turn around and break your neck to play games on the tv ABOVE your booth until they show up to take your order. Our group left without even being noticed — and it was moderately busy on a Friday night. Also as a «video game» bar, it was very unimpressive. Very few games, and some most of the arcade machines didn’t work. The whole TV being behind your booth also is a turn off. Good idea with poor execution.

Had a great time here because of the games. The margarita pitcher was not that great. I got a burger and the patty was bleeding. Waitress was great. Got me another one and didn’t charge for either burger. This place(and surrounding places) was rocking to get there early for a table. Overall, our group had a great time. The board games made it all worth it. Oh! And free video games!!! But they didn’t all work.

Went here to wait on a friend to go to a concert, so stop in get a drink at the bar. Wasn’t sure if i had time to eat, but i ordered a order of the tatter tats, They were AWESOME, YESAWESOME. They come inside a giant potatoe skin covered in goodnees and bacon. Can’t wait to go back and try the other food. Heard the lamb neck tacos rock. The atmosphere is cool seems like a good hang. Go try it out.

I went to Two Bits(Not to be confused by the similarly named«Two Boots» to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We showed up at 18h30 when it was not busy at all. Beer selection was plentiful. I love how they come in glasses that are shaped like beer cans. We ordered a full selection of their appetizers. I was fortunate to be able to try most of their apps and a few entrees as well! I ordered a rueben sandwich and another friend ordered fish and chips. Appetizers tried: Tempura Pickles Rock Shrimp Steam Buns Szechwan Wings Curry Cauliflower Entrees tried: Rueben Fish and chips Mac & Cheese Tempura Pickles: Taste like fried pickles — Its a Pickle spear thats been fried. Good taste Rock Shrimp Steam Buns: It looks like a pillowy soft taco with shrimp and other ingredients in it. Very good taste! Szechwan Wings: Really flavorful wings that are mildly spicy Curry Cauliflower: One of my favorite apps. Love the curry flavor. Looking for an online recipe. My Rueben was very good. Its always hit or miss with rueben. I like it when its sliced really thin. There was a little bit of spice in the sandwich which gave it a unique flavor. If you are not a fan of spice, do not get it. The menu does semi warn you about it — in the ingredient list. The Fish and chips: the fish was probably one of the best tasting fried fish I have ever eaten. And I’ve been to England. Twice. The Mac & cheese: Was delicious. My friends noted that it was a little«sandy». I guess it had a little too much cornmeal or whatever in it. All in all a wonderful dinner and lovely atmosphere. I never even tried the games but everyone looked like they were having fun. I asked if they had an original NES and the bartender said it was difficult to have that because of the rarity of it or something. But the games they do have are great. They even have a selection of board games! A fun night out. I recommend.

This place is so rad! Video games/card games while you drink and eat? YESPLEASE! I’ve been here a few times to grab some beers and dinner with friends. The food is pretty good(we usually order burgers or tacos). Service is kinda slow. However, it’s a great atmosphere and probably one of the most unique bars I’ve been to. I can assure you that you will never get bored while at Two BIts — there’s just too many games to choose from!

Came here one Sunday because the Dawg House was packed!(My hubs is a Browns fan & that’s the Browns backers bar) It wasn’t very crowded and the game was on one of the two TV’s they had in the bar. Ordered regular breakfast drinks, mimosas and bloody Mary’s. They were not good. Tasted like straight OJ and tomato juice. Service was really painfully slow considering how not busy the place was. We ordered some food and it was just mediocre. The best thing were the tater tots! Seriously amazing. Decent beer selection but way I’ve priced cocktails. Bottom line: I would come back here if friends wanted to, but would not come on my own.

The concept of this bar is perfect, and direly needed. 90s jamz and music videos playing overhead? Check. Wide selection of beer? check. Board games aplenty? check. AWESOME90SVIDEOGAMECONSOLES? oh yes, sweet check. We went on a Friday night. Unfortunately, things are pretty crowded and a little disorganized. While it was absolutely awesome to be able to play NFL Blitz and some equivalent of Big Buck Hunter ad nauseum, there were controllers missing from the N64 so we were neutered from that. I think they’ve got the idea down pat here; they just need to finesse things a bit more and this place will be great. I will definitely be back.

I love the idea of this place. I’m honestly surprised that there aren’t a lot of places around like this. Who doesn’t love drinking & playing old board games & video games?! I attended a Nashville Food Bloggers event here on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were able to try some of the cocktails & different menu items. We also were able to meet the chef & the general manager, both of whom were warm & friendly. The atmosphere is really nice in this place. Not«fancy» nice or «trying too hard» nice, it is just a very comfortable & welcoming place to stop in & have a drink & meet up with friends. It doesn’t have a really bar feel, even though it has a bar, weird I know. Along with the bar, they have high top tables with comfortable bar stools with padded backs. They also have booths that overlook TVs, TVs that are hooked up to different gaming systems. The food, we tried the mini doughnuts, fruity pebbles French toast, sweet country sausage and grits served with an egg Sunnyside up. I really enjoyed the mini donuts, they were very crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. I liked the sauce on the fruity pebble French toast, but I found the French toast itself to be just okay. The country sausage was made with sage, crushed red pepper and honey, and it was amazing. I know it seems weird to eat country sausage at a bar but you must try it. I’m not a huge fan of grits, but these grits aptly named«a Grit Idea» we’re seasoned & kind of spicy with a sunny side up egg on top. It was SO good. I really was surprised with how good the food was. The drinks. The drinks are good. Ranging in price from 6 – 9 bucks, you’ll find one you like & you’ll enjoy it. You might think 9 bucks is a lot for the size of the drink, but the drinks are strong. Not strong in a «omg I cannot drink this» but strong in a «omg this is good, I probably should only have 3» kind of strong. I had a Manhattan, Old Fashioned & a Sazerac, all were great. If you’re looking for a new place to try & feeling a little peckish and want a good drink, you need to try Two Bits. You won’t be sorry, unless you’re playing the board game SORRY!

Video Games & French Fries! SITREP I love this place just from the sheer audicity that«YES!» you can have a business plan that incorporates video game culture AND actually video games to play! And air shuffle board! THESETUP Located on Demonbreun Street(just above that headache of a «roundabout»(I hate those things), Two Bits is an excellent bar for some great brews as well as for some tasty food, including some nice vegan options. THEMENU Not crazy extensive, but enough of a variety to please many different people in a large group. French frieds, tator tots, sandwiches(hot & cold), middle eastern, etc. etc. GAMES They have the electronic video game versions you can actually play from original Sega hand units(and some others I think), from your booth, following the games on monitors above the booths. BREWBUS Two Bits is also a great start & stop off point for the BrewBus Tours which we were able to enjoy one afternoon. The tour usually takes a few hours and gives you an indepth look into 4 local microbreweries. At the end of the tour, it was fun coming back to Two Bits for some more video gaming fun and burger decompression time! THELOWDOWN A great burger & video game joint in Downtown Nashville!
