Recently purchased two items from this store and the entire experience was incredibly enjoy. Nothing but positive things to say from price to purchase to delivery. Will definitely be back.

Very friendly family owned business. My mom and I came in a few weeks ago and got some great deals on some furniture. The mother and son helped us and gave us a great deal. I highly recommend this thrift store.

Not a bad-looking shop though slightly disorganized, and the worker/manager there seemed excited we were there… almost too excited. The items were antique store priced, about double to triple what similar items go for at any of the thrift stores my wife and I stopped in on our visit to Nashville. I like random pieces of china, older books and other collectibles, but even a lover of vintage or hard to find goodies, I can do better buying off ebay(including shipping), hitting other stores, or just simply doing without. If you’re hitting the store shops along Charlotte, avoid this location. Kind of feel bad for the owner, jacking the prices higher and higher to make up for lost transactions, but if one wishes to dig their own hole, then so be it. Regarding the 4 and 5 star ratings here, I have no clue if they’re clueless about the second/third-hand market, or if they’re employees. If you doubt my review, stop in yourself.

I wasn’t impressed with this shop. It was large but cluttered. but hey this is a Thrift Shop. so that is expected. but it was just way too high. the prices was too high… it was like they thought they were selling NEW stuff or antiques and this was and is NEITHER… I would rather wait for yard sale season… I can buy the same things but much more reasonably priced…$ 12 for a scratched used skillet??? $ 15 for rag blanket someone put together for $ 15 because it has Coca Cola on it. it was neither new or antique. just expensive. I have been here before but now I know why it was like 2 yrs ago… too expensive!!! Not my type of stuff…

I love a good thrift store and I have NEVER had a pleasant experience here. I spotted in here today because I was just going to wander down Charlotte. It is definitely a big store. Every time I have entered NOONE has acknowledged me, but other patrons get acknowledged. Today it was the same thing. Two women entered right ahead of me and an employee rushed over to help them and they didn’t need help. A group of 3 came in after me and she rushed over to help them. Me? Just browsing and obviously not in need of assistance. Prices. Wow. For a thrift store they are high. I have heard that they will work with you on prices but when they don’t acknowledge you, that makes it hard to work on prices. The items seem to cover everything. I was checking out the glass at the front of the store and it is REALLY overpriced for what it is. I imagine they have factored in «wiggle room» but again, when they don’t acknowledge you that kind of goes out of the window. I did see a kitchenware in the back marked for more than what the item is at Target which was funny as it is was older than the current stock but not«vintage» not that vintage would have given it any more value. I will continue to stop there when I am making my way down thrift stores on Charlotte on the off chance there is something I want at a fair price. I just won’t expect help.

Owner offering discounts on everything, nicer items than Goodwill, cheaper than its neighbor Southern Thrift.

Today, all of the clothing was on sale 60% off. Grabbed a few good pieces. The lady working was super nice.

Unique Thrift Store is EXACTLY what a thrift store should be, and more. 1) they have everything you could imagine, from clothing to kitchenware, to light fixtures, and furniture. Cheap furniture, barely used furniture, china sets, blenders, etc. So yes, the store is «cluttered,» but in the best way possible. There are so many gems! 2) they bargain with you! I can’t tell you how many«thrift stores» I’ve been to that are stubbornly set on price. If you really want something and maybe can’t afford it, please, name a price. They will be fair. 3) they constantly have new inventory. You can go there at least once a week and find many new things. They are working hard in finding unique thrift items for the Nashville community. I love this place! Ps-I have come here many times before and have always recommended it to friends. I could not believe the poor reviews that this store had gotten. Trust me, they do not reflect the excellent customer service and the thrift store characteristics that Unique Thrift Store has!

When did New Life Thrift Store become Unique Thrift Store, Inc and is there a complete separation of owners/management between the New Life Thrift(owned by the New Life Resources, LLC and related to Tennessee Right to Life) and the current Unique Thrift Stores? New Life Thrift still yet has a 1,004 page Amazon online catalog of these items, so exactly where is the physical location of all of these items that have been donated to the New Life Thrift store inventory?

I’m not sure why all the hate in the only other review here… it’s a thrift store guys. And one that is VERY reasonable priced(cheap really). I found some lovely champagne glasses for like 4 bucks that are seriously some of my favorites. I’ve also purchased some odds and ends. The last time I stopped in they gave me a list of «specials» ie. the entire store was 10% off, clothing 30, etc. But they added on that«everything is negotiable.» But seriously, everything is pretty darn cheap here in my experience. You’ve got to dig to find the good stuff, but those pieces are worth it!
