Fast and easy check in. As everywhere these days the doctors are over booked and you will spend some time in the waiting room, however their waiting room is very clean & comfortable, at Vanderbilt they always offer Free Wifi.

Having previously only had my eyes checked at Lenscrafters or the like, The Vanderbilt Eye Clinic was a nice change of pace. However, it is BUSY with a capital BUSY. It has computerized check in which is fast, but you are still almost sure to have to wait, so bring something to entertain you. At least until they dilate your eyes and you suddenly can only see blurs in front of you.
Which segues to my only complaint. I was unaware of the fact that the dilating had this effect, and I was not warned, which caused me to freak out a bit when it did happen. They do have a nice big TV on the wall, which I was able to see, but it was tuned to sports which I have no interest in. Still moving pictures are better than nothing!
Dr. Felch was very friendly and never made me feel foolish about any of the questions I had.
