Snaps to the ladies of the Med Center for holding their own and performing the much needed service of cutting off the crusty old hair of crazy professors and doctors wandering the halls of Vanderbilt. They are OLD school. And you really, really better have an appointment and better not talk. As a female, this place is seriously NOT for me. The ladies cuts are pretty 1970 bouffant with a bit of mullet thrown in for good measure, but the guys styles is where they excel. Close to both undergrad campus and in the middle of medical campus, it is going to get you way further than super cuts. On the minus side, everyone you work with will see you getting your hair cut. On the plus side, you may be side to side with the Dean of Something Important. But he also won’t be talking. Because they don’t do that there.

So convenient and so inexpensive! This place is perfect for busy medical students, faculty, staff, and even lowly undergrads to get their hair (actually several hairs) cut.
I know very little about how I like my hair cut, but these ladies certainly do. They always just sit me down, shut me up, and stylishly conceal my Med-​School-​Induced receding hairline.
Open 8 – 4 on weekdays. Student cuts are 14 bucks! Where else can you get that (and not wind up butchered)?
