This place was magnificent. We’ve never traveled with our(12#) dog before and besides multiple slip ups along the way the Inn was VERY understanding. We were here on our way to/from Chicago to Atlanta to watch our son play baseball in Atlanta. PERFECT stopping off point. We even bumped into a family from Fremd also traveling to Atlanta to do a GT visit. Anyway… I called Amy back in February. All booked up. Disappointment all around as this was«pet friendly» and beautiful. She says, «We have a wait list and we DO cal!» Ok. Sure. You’ll call me. Sure enough about 10 days out we get a call… one of the coveted Bunkies is open. I’LLTAKEIT! So we arrive. Wrong Bunkie. We’re in the regular not pet friendly. No problem. We will charge you, but let you stay the night(only one night passing through). All good. On our way back through Nashville we also stay here. Jared said there’d be possible 1pm check but alas.no. Room not ready so DRAT! We had to go have a few beers and listen to the live band at the café. We checked in at 3pm. Daughters showered and off we went to Broadway. Anyway… great great place. Fabulous breakfast. Pet friendly. Nothing can go wrong here. BOOKIT!!!

My husband and I stayed at this boutique luxury hotel as a treat for Easter weekend. The grounds are lovely, even at this time of year, and the room was fantastic. Impeccably clean with many gracious touches. The restaurant on the property was fantastic; it’s always nice to be able to walk to dinner and not worry about driving. Breakfast is custom made and the selection of entrees is large. Aaron made us breakfast and it was just fantastic. It’s nice that a tour of the Barbara Mandrell mansion at Fontanel is included for guests — nice touch as well.

My wife and I stay at luxury hotels often and all over. We were in one such hotel and I asked her«Which one has been your favorite?» Hands down, this was the place for both of us. This brand new inn is situated in the valley of the Fontanel Mansion, the former home of Barbara Mandel. There is a small village of sorts within walking distance that has a candy shop, a very good Italian restaurant and a small distillery with very good bourbon. I bought a bottle, it’s become one of my favorites. This small village really ads to the charm of the property and makes for a nice evening out. Take a stroll along the creek and then have dinner. Walk back through lightning bugs and stars. The Inn is gorgeous and very well appointed. Built to look like an old southern estate with wrap around porches adorned with swings and lanterns, it’s romantic and absolutely beautiful. We rented two rooms. Both were exquisite. Plush beds, beautiful décor, and spotless. We used the fitness center and it was very nice. Just look at the pictures online. Seriously, the place is a marvel. It’s stunning. Absolutely perfect for a honeymoon or special event. The customer service here is off the charts. Any request is taken care of. This is a boutique hotel so you’re one of just a handful of guests and your experience is meticulously maintained. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel had bikes and golf carts for your use. Yes, they gave us a golf cart. We jumped in and took a tour of the property. It was a blast! In the morning the wife and I did the mansion tour and requested breakfast to be delivered to the kid’s room while we were gone. They did this and really made our morning! I highly recommend this place. Just do it. And for what you pay you definitely get your money’s worth.
