I don’t know. maybe it’s me that thinks customer service is what makes a business grow… I know this store disagrees. I went in to this store on a Tuesday at 3:00. No one was in the store but three female employees putting on there own make up in the front of the store … No one said hello they just turned around and gave me a look like I was bothering them then continued to talk to each other and put on makr up … I left and went to Sephora. I made sure not to buy any MAC products there either … Really people, check out your staff. There are too many other stores and competition.

I don’t know why I always get the worst service here. I feel like MAC sales people/makeup artists are SO hit or miss. The one I spoke to most recently told me I should stick to opaque lipsticks and selected 3 lipsticks for me to try. They all couldn’t have been worse than the other. I was looking for a natural red or pink and she selected an electric purple, a baby pink that was lighter than my skintone, and a bozo pink. No consideration was given to my skin tone or the stuff makeup artists are supposed to do. I kind of knew all of them would look bad on me but I decided why not. Just bad… don’t try to get a nice makeover at this MAC. The Macy’s one is pretty hit or miss too depending on who you get but the service is usually slightly better. I went over to Bobbi Brown instead at Macys and had the best experience w/a makeup artist there who selected shades that were flattering on me that I could have never selected on my own.

So disappointed. I never thought that being dressed down in sweats would equal to BEINGIGNORED. I waited over 20 mins for someone to even acknowledge that I needed help and then waited another 15 mins until I finally had to ask for help. No consideration or apologies whatsoever. With over 6 people working and multiple people standing around just washing brushes or chitchatting, I couldn’t have been more dissatisfied with the customer service. Everyone was rude, snotty and snobby.

I love MAC product, however the customer service at the MAC store in the Natick Mall is absolutely terrible. The employees do not greet you upon entrance of the store nor do they approach you once you are looking at product. When I asked for a suggestion of a bold lip color for my complexion the employees response was«we’ll what color do you like?» I wanted suggestions of what I could wear not me do the work. Another example I was into buy a makeup brush but have been intrigued with new eyeshadow colors. I went to cash register after no one talked to me and proceeded to compliment the girl on her beautiful eye makeup. She responded with a rude«thanks» in which I then asked what colors she used interested in buying them myself. She said«I don’t know I never pay attention to what colors I use» in her rude tone of voice. Another sale lost. Another client lost. Will be going to Burlington mall location.

Beware! I had a consult at the Nordstrom Mac — I only wanted to find my right shade of foundation and powder but the girl insisted doing an entire makeover, now exactly seven days later I have a horrible stye in my lower lid. My doctor said its def from dirty/contaminated re-used makeup. Just because the use disposable applicators, they still stick it in contaminated mascara and use the eyeliner on everyone. While walking through the store the girl saw me and asked if I LOVED my makeover, when I told her about the stye she insisted there was NOWAY it was from that…

So. I waited a month to post this because of the PTSD. The DEMONBARBEROFFLEETSTREET… more like the Tiny Frosty Pink Pallet-Beserker of NATICK! Stay AWAYFROM this store MAC lovers — the Nordy’s counter is just a few feet away, there is no need to risk your life, your balls, or your complexion here. Indeed, I have a very sneaky suspicion that they keep the burnt dead shreaded bodies of customers that frosty pink eyeshadow lady beserked on in rusty mac palettes in the back of the store. If you want to live… GOTOTHENORDSTROMSMACCOUNTERINSTEAD. You have been warned. I was the only one in the store, wanted to look around, and a plump young petite asian-american ARTEEEST-AND-DONT-YOU-EVER-SAY-I-AINT freak fest with WAAAAY too much frosty pink shadow started to get crazy pushy on me, inserting herself between me and the samples set out for us to try and telling me what to do. A betty-page female mac saleslady with cat-eye glasses popped in but she went to stock stuff, ignoring my pleading looks. Left alone with scary pinky frosty frost face, who assumed total ignorance of mac products on my part,(which is ironic because I’ve been using them before she was born — shouldnt she have asked?) I was forced to submit LIQUID foundation all over my nose even though I asked to try the studio fix. Of course it streaked like crazy and highlighted every single tiny face hair… I could tell it wasnt working out. when I DARED to tell her it just wasnt up to my regular foundation(Face Atelier) not only had she never heard of the product(hunh? its a makeup artist fave) but she was pissed I could dare to contradict her mighty cosmetological opinion! It went this way the whole time — from the concealer she told me I was«putting on wrong» to the blush… oh yeah. I had to ask about 3 times to purchase the blush in the pan, without the container, and she asked me FIVE times(not kidding, it was psychotic) was I sure, and did I even have a Palette — «Are you SURE? Do you know its in a Pan? Do you have a palette, its like a METALTHING… do you have one? DO. YOU. HAVE. A. PALETTE???» I guess she thought that someone without stacks of frosted pink shadow on would not have a freakin clue what a plaette was). «BUTISIT A ** MAGNETIZED*** PALETTE, A PALETTE. APALETTEPALETEETAPALETTEPALETTE??? HUNHISIT??» OMG. WASSHETURNING *Red*?. «yes yes yes YES, I HAVE A PALETTE. I KNOWWHATAPALETTEIS… OMG please ppplease DONTEATME!!!» – omg ANYTHING to get away from her!(tho0ugh we know that blush already has magnets on it. I mean, fer seriuous peoples.). When she rang me up for one blush in the pan and one in the compact I stopped her and ONCEAGAIN asked for the both just in pans she shot back, «but i ASKEDYOU that a nd you TOLD me … you didnt wnat the PAN for this one… I.ASKED.YOU.AND.THATS.WHAT.YOU. SAID!!!» . She was YELLING… Aieeeeee! Seriously. I physically backed away from her and I had a good 2 feet over her — anyway I just said, of course honey, you are right Im wrong IM every so sorry… ANDSHECONTINUEDTOMUTTER and bitch at me. i got my stuff and I actually RANOUT. so. i got out alive. others may not be so lucky. AVOID at all costs. There is something just a little too Sweeny Todd about this place. THENORDYS Mac counter LADY was fun and wonderful, what a difference(see my review on the nordstrom page). Perhaps one day I will be able to go outside again, but I jjuust cccaaant take the rrrisk that ssccccarrrry pinkpushyfrostyface will be outside my door… waiting for me… with her rusty pallette and rusty face… with streaky foundation… and sparkles… MMmmommy…

I love MAC makeup. I am not a huge makeup person but I do like to wear it when I am not lazy. I had a makeover here some time ago that was done by a guy, who listened to what I wanted and gave me a natural look that I could play up for nighttime. He explained what he was doing and I ended up buying everything, including the brushes. Yes, it was expensive but I was starting from scratch. I have gone back to replace several things since then and they quickly find the stuff I need so I can be on my way. I did just learn about their recycling program where you bring in 5 or 6 empty containers and you get a free eyeshadow or lip gloss or maybe something else. That is actually quite nice for repeat customers. I will continue to go here for all my makeup needs.

I met my 16 year old cousin at the MAC Store in Natick to pick out some new make-up. The make-up artists were welcoming and though we didn’t need a lot of help, Jocelyn always checked in on us as we were picking out colors to make sure we could find everything we needed! The store was clean and the staff was great!
