If you love history, find a way to come see this place. An amazing private collection of World War II artifacts. Thousands of personal correspondents, as well as official military documents. Hundreds of military weapons and uniforms. Artifacts that were in the lives of the people who were closest to the war. Yes they have a Sherman tank too! It’s sensory overload until you talk to Richard Denning! A B-17 pilot. He talks about his experiences during the war and after. It was a highlight of my life! Hearing and talking with people like this is rare! Jump now!

This museum is hidden in Natick. It is the private collection of a man who has traveled through Europe and Asia buying relics and letters from World War II. It is by invitation only so if you would like to visit, you need to go to the web site and email the museum with a request to visit. Kids are not allowed although I did see a high school honors class in there with a teacher. I have visited this place twice now. It is amazing. I went with my 85 year old dad and we were there for 3 hours each time. There is an actual uniform from Hitler, multiple Enigma machines, many guns you can pick up and an actual Sherman tank. The exhibit takes you from World war I through the end of World War II. There is a small Holocaust section that is very moving. It is amazing to see the horror of what happened in WWII and the technologies that were advanced to fight this war. I definitely would recommend a visit if you are interested in this part of our history.
