They wanted to charge me $ 169 just to come out and give an estimate on my hot tub repairs! Since when does a company charge for an estimate? The woman was rude and said that they weren’t like a paint company that gave free estimates. Uhhh… I always get free estimates, from contractors, carpet cleaners, and even an orthodontist, so wow, talk about being snotty. She said they’d waive the estimate fee if we just hired them outright to do the work, though. That’s SO big of them.

I’ve got to say convincing my husband to agree to a spa was not so difficult once he met David Parkhurst and was shown all of the options. Then came the«try it» in their back sunset corner and he was sold. David was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and just plain friendly. There was no pressure and we appreciated that immensely. Delivery and set-up went without a hitch and we have been enjoying our spa. One service call to just check on a few things(there were no real problems) was handled so well too. Joel Torres showed up full of smiles and did a full check-up to make sure everything was ok. Great experience. Expensive but worth every penny!

I’m checking back in with New England Spas to purchase my THIRD spa from them(for a third home), and wouldn’t look elsewhere. They have the best quality products, knowledgable sales people, great customer service, and their service team also gets 5 stars. I’ve also purchased an infrared sauna from them. I’ve been a happy customer for over 12 years.

Excellent experience with their field service techs. Isaiah Crowell quickly diagnosed the simple issue with my new Jacuzzi and gave me a nice class on the basics of chemicals and its operation. Happy that nothing was wrong with my new Jacuzzi simple water level issue and very pleased with my tech support!

I never write reviews on anything but I just had to for these guys. I just bought my first hot tub from David Hagopian at New England Spas in Natick. He was an outstanding salesperson. I had a million questions that he answered for me in person and on the phone. He followed up with me and let me take my time in making a decision. He also gave me a very fair price. I shopped around a lot before purchasing and he was by far the best. Everyone else was pushy and not informative. I haven’t received the spa yet so i’ll post more once I do. Hope this helps everyone!

Don’t bother trying these people out. We paid for an installation and removal service for a spa cover and received nothing but headaches. We were given excuses for why each time the removal of our old cover was not done. The second time they came to remove the cover they left the remaining bar and trash on our front lawn. We only asked for the respect of what we paid for and this is how this company respects you. They don’t care. They offered NOTHING in return for their late and poor customer service. OHWELL, nothing we can do about it; don’t inconvenience us again is their attitude. Stay far, far away from these people. They feel they are the only company around. Do your homework. New England Spas is the worst company out there, PERIOD!

We just bought our first hot tub at NE Spas. David Parkhurst was in assisting us with the purchase, installation and service of the hot tub. I am a particularly difficult customer, especially when it comes to sales people being either not attentive enough or too pushy. David was great. He was extremely polite, just as attentive as needed and very knowledgeable about the products. He explained to us the differences in models and what would work best for our needs. In addition, the suppliers he recommended for installation of the concrete pad for the hot tub to sit(Jason L.) and the electrician(Brian B.) were great. They were polite, executed the job well and were reasonable in cost. It is hard to find good customer service these days, let alone one that handles the entire process from sale through installation and using the service/product. David followed up with us to make sure we were happy with everything and we were on schedule. Definitely recommend!

Excellent experience! I saw David Parkhurst, who worked with my wife and I to get us exactly what we were looking for, at the price we were looking to spend. He listened, worked with us, and showed great customer service. And he was also really helpful teaching us how to use the spa once we got it. The delivery guys were very professional and worked creatively to get the spa into our backyard. Only knock, if I had to have one, was that David exaggerated the savings I’d get from the electrical panel that came with the spa. David estimated that this would save me $ 300 – 400 since I’d otherwise have to have the electrician purchase it. My electrician balked at that, saying those things cost closer to $ 50. But despite this exaggeration, David was very accommodating and gave us a great price on the spa. I was debating buying a nice used spa. I’m glad I spent the extra money to get a new one. Based on the customer service, I have no doubt they’d have my back if I have a problem with the spa. It’s got a good warranty, and I’ve got experts I can call with questions. I bought the Hot Spot Relay. It’s fantastic! I’m glad I went to NE Spas.

We had a great experience with New England Spas, our sales person David Parkhurst(really much more of a project manager than a salesman– in a good way!), the electrician they recommended(Brian Bradley) and the installation. Just a great experience overall.

Worst company to deal with! I have had several problems with my hot tub and the service repair man was very rude they actually charge you to sit in the driveway while they write up repairs they have done which tacks on an additional 30 min but charge for an extra hour. I have never heard of a business that charges you to write up the bill. Do not use them for repairs. RIPOFF

I am an information-gatherer and like to do lots of research before a purchase. Luckily David Parkhurst of New England Spas understands people like me and he has infinite patience! It took me about six months to make my purchase but David patiently educated me and listened to me and matched me with exactly what I wanted. Delivery and set-up were seamless. Bruce and Sandy were friendly and helpful, too. These people know how to work as a team!

Wow. I just read the reviews and couldn’t withhold commentary. I just purchased a Sundance Hot Tub from New England Spas — Rt. 9 Natick. The person who helped me was David Parkhurst. He was great. As another reviewer said, he really struck the balance between letting me look and answering SCORES of questions I rattled off one after the next. Extremely honest and straight-forward. I’m fortunate I can«read» someone quickly and I did just that. He is great. Period. Now a couple of things about the«1-star» reviews: 1) I just signed a contract… so I know what I’m talking about. ELECTRICAL is **MY** responsibility. It says so in BLACK and WHITE. David referred me to a great electrician and I also have my own. Either way it’s on me – so the person giving the 1-star review complaining that New England Spas«installed» the hot tub — check your FACTS. YOU, my son were supposed to provide proper electrical… So you can take your 1-star review and throw it in the garbage. The 1-star is on YOU for not even knowing how to get your electrical situation set up. 2) As far as the girl with mice running around her house… First of all, clean up YOUR act. I don’t live with rodents. If YOU do, that’s your problem and they OBVIOUSLY gravitate towards the warmest spots they can access. I guess that is your hot tub. So now you have a rodent-infested property and they are trying to survive the winter by enjoying the heat you put out for them and then New England Spa is supposed to come over for FREE and exterminate your property and fix your rodent-eaten hot tub??? Wow. Not smart. I’m going to say the same thing. The 1-star is on YOU. Sorry if I’m too blunt, but it’s maddening to see a great business bashed by clueless people. The reason I’m saying this is that I didn’t even look at Unilocal before signing the contract. But then a friend of mine went and«WARNED» me that there are bad reviews on this company. Yes, there are 2 bad(1-star reviews) and in my humble opinion they are completely unwarranted. If anyone would like to contact me regarding a REAL experience with New England Spa and the entire sales and service process, I will be happy to oblige. Just message me. They get 5-stars all the way. Done for now… going to go hop in my hot tub! :-)

Just bought our second Sundance Optima tub from NESpas. Worked with new salesman David P., he was friendly, not pushy, and great with following up on everything he said he would(installation coordination, payment details, etc.) With the volume these guys do(one of the biggest tub dealers in the state), I wish they worked hard to keep prices down on both tubs and chemicals. But they stock premium brands and the premium price was worth it for our last tub, and I suspect it will be for this one!

Run away! We bought our spa about from New England Spa and have nothing but problems. The tech came over our house last time and charged us $ 170 just to say when we put the spa in we should have used a higher amp circuit. Problem: NEWENGLANDSPA installed the hot tub!!! I am now fighting with my credit card as no one will now answer my phone calls. I so don’t mind paying for a service call, but this is ridculous. I I am now using their competitor and am very happy. Their rate is less than ½ of New England Spa.

My spa that I bought from New England Spas is now less than two years old and I have had nothing but problems with it. When it was less than a year old the vents on the bottom of my Sundance Denali hot tub started to come apart underneath. This created holes where mice and other rodents could get in and eat my insulation. I called up New England Spas and they told me that it would take at least two weeks to get somebody to come out and look at it. They then wanted to charge me a fee. I ended up having to replace all the vents and seal them with caulking. I couldn’t wait two weeks for the mice to cause more damage to my tub and I was worried that they would start chewing on my wires. The vents falling out is a definite design flaw and New England Spas should have come out right away to make sure the mice didn’t cause any internal damage to my new hot tub. I called up Sundance to report the problem and they told me that it was the responsibility of the dealer I bought it from. New England Spas has horrible customer service and don’t seem to care about their customers. I spend several thousand dollars purchasing my tub from them and they didn’t care when I had a problem with it. The tub was less than a year old and should not have had any issues. I would NEVER buy another product from them!
