Nick’s Pizza House

I had been here years ago and it was okay. Ordered a small cheese pizza today (the benchmark of quality, if a they can’t do a cheese pizza that tastes good…). When I got there the place was filthy and no one was there to help. I had to wait five minutes before the surly, I presume owner lurked out fron the back room and grunted at me in disaproval. I knew then I would be lucky if the pizza was edible. I opened the box to apply hot pepper flakes and was momentarily pleasantly surprised to find a pizza that looked appetizing; well looks deceive. Upon biting into a slice I was met with the unnatractive flavor of rancid grease and burnt pan drippings. Beyond that there was no flavor whatsoever. Mozzarella, robust sauce, a well crafted crust: nope, none of these flavors that make pizza my favorite food were present. Just rancid grease. I was starving and forced myself to finish a slice to my own personal disappointment. Imagine the worst pizza place you’ve been to on a late night desperately hungry, and all they have is disgusting slices to offer that have been reheated multiple times over a week due to their unpopularity: that is what Nick’s fresh pizza reminded me of. Even dousing it with salt was not enough to eke out a scintilla of taste. I’m sorry I wasted my time, money and appetite on this swill. I have no idea how they stay in business. If you have taste buds avoid this place at all costs. I’m always amazed to find a place that can’t make a halfway decent pizza, I mean where is the pride in making something so simple inedible? If there are pizza places in hell, they would resemble Nick’s. Get a frozen pizza instead, itwill be better than this.

Used to order their food all the time. But one day they screwed up the order blamed me and didn’t offer any recompense. I would have been fine if they either remade some of the order or worked something out, but was consistently told that I ordered it wrong.
Decent food, but if you do not have a good customer service then I will just go find someone else that does.

I’ve ordered delivery from Nick’s through
twice to my Natick office.
The food has arrived earlier than estimated (tasty surprise) & it’s always warm.
The steak and cheese salad is delicious.
I’ve also had the mozzarella sticks & BLT sub — both good.
I recommend giving Nick’s a shot when you’re in the Natick area looking for a quick tasty lunch.

A little off the beaten path, but the sandwiches are very tasty, and the price is right for lunch!
Haven’t tried the pizza here, yet, but it looks like that might be next on the list, based on previous reviews. Glad I found this diamond in the rough!

This place doesn’t get enough love! Good food, surprisingly not greasy pizza at all! Thin crust, fresh veggies and friendly serving. Quick delivery And reasonably priced. I read another review about canned mushrooms. That would be a huge deal breaker for me so I steered clear but really enjoyed our food and I am a pretty snobby pizza eater so this says something. We would definitely order from here again and recommend you try it out!

The pizza has no flavor. The recipe needs to be changed so that the pizza does not resemble cardboard. We ordered 2 large pizzas and ended up throwing them away after one slice cause it was so bad. I’m not about to waft precious calories on bad pizza.

The Boyfriend and I picked up food here twice in the last 8 days because we just moved into our new apartment and things are crazy. The first time we got subs; Italian Cold Cuts and a Meatball Sub. Both were very good and an okay price.
Tonight we picked up a pizza which we didn’t a large was 18″, which is gigantic. We ordered pepperoni, tomatoes, mushrooms and fresh garlic. The crust was tasty and overall it was better than average and definitely better than the chain pizza places.
We will definitely pick up from here again.

Ordered pizza from here for the first time. We usually order from Natalie’s but decided to try something new for a change. They used canned mushrooms on the pizza which is something I absolutely can’t stand. Other than that the pizza was pretty average. We will definitely go back to ordering from Natalie’s.

The gyros here are very good. I also really enjoy their steak and cheese sub. Cheese pizza is average/​run of the mill. The calzones are large but about average taste. Definitely worth a try if you live in the area.
