California Cremation & Burial Chapel

The staff was very good (the man helping with the viewings and the man who drive the hurst) but Jeanette the one you have to speak to to make arrangements was horrible. At first she was warm and helpful but at a later meeting to finalize she made so many insensitive comments and kept making jokes about random stuff. People are in mourning, not at a comedy show. It’s better to say nothing at all if you don’t know how to keep conversation going without offending people. She should probably have someone else speak to the families and she handle the paperwork. No talking. She makes the others who work here look bad. She was kinda like a used car salesman, all about $. And she forgot to have the memory cards ready for the viewings and told us we should have reminded her. Ummmm… that’s your job. If you have to come here, ask for someone else.

This place is very small and the funeral director is very organized and difficult to deal with. But if you’re looking for a small venue that is not as expensive as Glen Abbey, this place will work. But don’t expect kind treatment and don’t expect them to go outside of the box on anything.
