Chan Dong Supermarket

Love coming here for my Asian goods!
Small and crowded store but whenever I go here I usually get what I need.
They also do mini sales every now and then and it gets pretty cheap! Sometimes the prices are a bit higher than seafood city for example but you can find other foods for a good price.
I come here when I need phở noodles and phở ingredients! I also like to buy Asian snacks here too.
The customer service is good. The owner is a sweet old lady who wants to come to work everyday and owns her little Asian market and is proud of it.
I don’t come here very often, but when I do I always get a good experience.
I tend to stay away from the meats and veggies because there were a few times where I saw mold in the veggies… Ekkk! Not a plus.
I stick to the snacks and quick stuff.

The horrible customer service trumps the charm of this long standing supermarket that houses a lot of Asian goods. The female owner is very, VERY rude. She harasses the paying customers. This is a small supermarket and can’t really live up to neighboring asian markets, the least it can have is some decent customer interactions. Never coming back here and they can be sure that everyone I know will hear about this. On the bright side, the daughter is the complete opposite and interacts very well with their customers.

This is a pretty small store which usually means higher prices – and that is true of this location. Not a huge selection of fresh produce but they do have a large-​ish selection of bulk rice bags.
Ok to stop and get one or two things. Probably not the best place to do ALL of your shopping at.
Very cute location. There’s a lot of Asian stores in this one lot – in fact they’re all Asian – but the architecture is very European.

I called asking if they had 10×25 pound bags of Super Lucky Elephant jasmine rice and the young lady on the phone said they did and would even help load it into my car. Now that’s customer service!
