El Toyon Elementary School

First off, El Toyon Elementary is NOT located on N Avenue in National City. The address listed here is wrong.
Anyway, regarding this school, do yourself a favor and don’t send your kids to El Toyon School. Not because of the teachers, but because of the extremely rude administrative staff both at this school and their district office on N Avenue. I called here and visited the office a few times (both last year and this year)… they were no help at all. Very rude. Very curt. For further details, do a search here on Unilocal,look up «National City Elementary School District’ and read the reviews there because because El Toyon falls under that district. It’s on the bottom, click on ‘filtered’. I guess they filtered my review but don’t know why because it’s the truth. I don’t feel like re-​writing my original review, but you can get further information on my own personal experience there.
Don’t settle. Send your kids to a school (and district) that treats you with respect. Best of luck.
