This place treated me like gold. I don’t think I have ever had a better experience with a car repair facility and they definitely went above and beyond normal customer services I definitely recommend them and can’t say enough good things about them. Leon went way above and beyond in getting my car repaired super fast.

Just stopped in this Saturday for some minor exhaust work. I told the guys what I was looking for and they gave me a few professional options. Once I decided on one, they went ahead and took care of the work. I was in and out in about an hour. Thank guys!

What everyone says is true. He comes off as a nice guy at first and gives you a good bargain then makes you sit around for four hours when your vehicle just sits in the parking lot, wasting your valuable time away from work and losing money as you got to spend money to get your car repaired.
Bottom line poor communication to customers on actual wait time!

Jerauld’s is a great place to take your car i brought in a old 1966 buick electra very long car they reccomended what i needed. I got a great price and quality work. I drop it off before they closed on a thursday and it was done next day picked it up on my lunch break. car also was misfiring timing was off they also topped off all fluids and tighten up power steering belt all at no charge, car had been sitting for a long time. bought off a navy guy who was on deployment for 6 months

they overcharge and take advantage of you! Dont go here unless you’re related to them!

Short version:
I am a woman they tried to sell an unneeded catalytic converter to. STAY AWAY.
Long version:
I was in a collision at the beginning of January so when my truck started making noises that sounded like a helicopter, I went back to the my insurance company’s site and met with a mechanic from the collision center (A&G Collision) hoping it would be related and covered by insurance.
Well no it was not related, so the mechanic refereed me to this shop, after telling me it was my catalytic converter.
So I head down here and they look it over, confirming that I do need a new cat and that it was falling apart, and pieces were stuck in my muffler, and if they couldn’t get it out they would have to replace that, too.
Having my suspicions I went to another shop, where they put it on the lift and showed me how the the noise was coming from nowhere near the cat, and I would have to pay for a full diagnostic.
So I called Jerauld’s back and asked what kind of test they did. They told me «We OPENED the cat and it was smoking.» Well ladies and gentleman you can’t open a cat so they either think I am dumb, or they are just dumb themselves.
So my friend told me to talk to Miguel at Tunes, Lube, and Smog and he looked at it for five minutes and told me the exhaust manifold had come loose. Nice, guy, will be having him fix it on Monday.
So I saved $ 400 bucks by not going to Jerauld’s!

Had to return for limited-​slip differential additive after another mechanic in Kearny Mesa said shuddering noise caused by failing to add this for a rear-​end fluid change. My previous RV had exhaust leak and they took several days because of stuck bolt, then said they didn’t want to risk breaking it. So I took it to Hansens muffler shop that got them out and fixed it. They have experienced people; but I’m not sure about their intelligence. They added the additive at no charge, but I lost some time off work.
