I launched my boat at Knight and Carver after shipping cross country, previously having recommissioned at Marine Group Boatworks and not being impressed with their customer service. The folks at Knight and Carver were professional and highly supportive. I worked with Alan from their project management team and he got us in and out of the yard with minimum hassle. The carpenter, Sal, took great care when replacing a rotted area in the foot of my mast and he made the joins fair and smooth. I highly recommend Knight and Carver.

Really friendly service, they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy with their projects. Nancy was super gracious the entire time and let us know about all the options as we underwent our repair. They have a wide variety of vessels around so you know they’re well known in San Diego’s boating community. We will definitely be back.

When I trucked my 41′ Sailboat from the East Coast I knew I would be in good hands with Knight & Carver from previous experiences. Not only did they block, rerig, repaint and splash at a very reasonable cost — as important was the way they treated us with respect and kindness with ALL the questions my 80 year old father could muster. I’m seriously thinking of doing a complete overhaul on this 45 year old beauty and K&C is at the top of the list. They may refit a lot of Mega Yachts here but they never treated us any different with our little baby. Thanks!

Money hungry, over priced, disconnected, extremely rude, run and go somewhere else. March 2012, beware of BK they are looking for outside investors lost about half their employees.
