BESTTURONINTHEWORLD! I am from San Jose Ca and was looking for a filipino restaurant in town because I didn’t feel like Chinese or Fast food. I stumbled upon a place called Lolas Happy Bakery! Great customer service and awesome chicken skin! Wish they had chicken skin like this in San Jose.

I ordered the biggest lechon, but it was a big disappointment. The taste is so bland. The skin is not crispy at all and the meat was over cooked and so dry. Nobody ate it so we had to make paksiw with the whole thing. Never again. $ 218 wasted.

Holy moley. How does this place have an «A» rating. Visually it’s disgusting. Anywho, go in with your eyes closed and get your fantastic pan de sol. At $ 2 a dozen its a great bargain.

I can only speak for the warm pan de sal that is available daily. If you can catch it when it is placed warm on the shelf, it’s very delicious. I am not Filipino so I can’t say whether the food served there has authentic flavor. I have never purchased it only because it always look like it has been sitting there a while and is far from fresh. I could be wrong though! Again, the pan de sal is my favorite.

I’m addicted to their yummy Ube Twist and Pan de Ube. Especially when its fresh from the oven.

although i’ve ordered here before, i’m certainly not going to repeat again. a week ago i ordered a tray of sisig na bangus for a party i was going to but when i came to pick up my order i was told that they forgot to make my order and if i can wait for 30 more minutes so they can make it. i didnt want to run late so i declined and just ordered a cake at red ribbon. just this afternoon i called to place another order for another party i was going to attend and upon giving my name, the person on the line with the most accusing tone said something to the effect of «so this is the person who ordered a tray last week and didnt pick up». i explained what happened and i guess the person i talked to the week prior denied that i came over to pick up my order. i was called a liar and more over the phone! these folks are so unprofessional and dont know anything about customer service. order your fiesta food somewhere else!

I was on the hunt for a lechon to celebrate a birthday and Happy Bakery was suggested by a friend. Price wise — excellent and the lechon was cooked perfect — nicely roasted whole pig, crispy skin(best part) and very tasty. Everyone at the party had a HAPPY tummy from Happy Bakery lechon!!! I recommend this place.

Hands down the best place to get pandesal. I’ve been to several different places for pandesal including the famous Valerios and Happy bakery is still the best.

Many people have told me that they have the best suman in the world, but I disagree. They were alright, but nothing to write home about. And if you’re Filipino, that probably means leaving a note on the kitchen counter. All I can say that is noteworthy is that their suman portion sizes are pretty big. They’re almost as big as those rolls of raw breakfast sausage meat you find in the meat section of your supermarket. Seriously.

I still remember when this bakery used to be called«Alice Cakeland» haha. Now, this bakery still makes some good ube cake and the best lechon(whole roast pig) I’ve tasted. I also recommend Gemmae for the ube cake. At Red Ribbon, stick with the mango cake.
