I was in a car accident a few months ago. I couldn’t cook, drive, clean, or play with my son. Now i am able to do it all thanks to Dr. Najera. He is amazing ! I highly recommend him !! :)

Over the years I’ve been adjusted by a lot of chiropractors. But Dr. Najera stands out from the rest. I found him to be a man of integrity and honesty. Not only does he give an amazing adjustment, he seems to be a chiropractor for the right reason… helping people. There’s not a lot of privacy and the office is small. But the doctor makes up for it with his friendliness and professionalism. The last time I saw him I was having terrible pain between my shoulder blades and it was affecting my ability to take a deep breath. It was so bad I was slightly hunched forward to avoid the pain. The worse part was I was starting to get used to it. Although he is far from where I live now, I had the chance to see him and I’m so glad I did! With one adjustment my pain went away and I could breath deeply again. Thank you Dr. Najera for helping me.

I was rear-ended in a car accident. I called San Ysidro Health Center(SYHC) to see a doctor, and they referred me to Dr. Najera in National City(I live in National City). I initially contacted SYHC because I know it’s a community clinic with lower prices since I have no medical insurance. Dr. Najera took me in and was very nice. He said to not worry about price and insisted on getting an attorney for my car accident. While at his office, he asked me to touch my toes and quickly sat me down to get muscle stimulation. He booked me for another appointment where he only gave me muscle stimulation, and AGAIN was very insistent that I get an attorney.(Both appointments were 20 min long) I didn’t feel comfortable with him because I felt like he was being too pushy with getting an attorney so he could bill the car insurance. Not including the fact that his office has no privacy. It’s like a gym. You are being treated while customers come in and out of the office. OH, and the attorney he recommended… yea I had actually hired him for an unemployment issue, so the attorney is probably new at disputing automobile accidents(Do your own research). I went with another chiropractor, and he did an extensive initial exam. He checked my balance, touched my neck, tested my reflexes, did X-rays, and did muscle stimulation. Work of an hour and a half and was charged $ 150.00 for all, and was not pushy about my insurance and attorneys paying him. I went to Dr. Najera to pay him the two 20min. appointments and he came out with a bill of $ 218.00.(in which he fixed to $ 205.00 because he added something he never did) I asked why so much? What did his initial exam entitle? Let me remind you the only thing he did for my initial exam was make me touch my toes. He never tested my reflexes, never checked my balance, NOTHING. Dr. Najera could not explain what his initial exam entitled and said he provided good customer service. He also made a comment to not worry because my insurance will pay for it. I told him I was paying out of pocket, I was not being treated in La Jolla, the car insurance is not paying for this, and he was aware that I am unemployed(YES, paying with a credit card), and that I had a much more extensive exam with another chiropractor. When asked to get my evaluation since he did a «very» expensive initial exam he responds, «Oh, you want that? I didn’t prepare it.» …Ummm, yes I want it if you are over charging, and shouldn’t you have it? Or are you going to make it up? I don’t mean to write an essay, but I don’t recommend anyone going to Dr. Najera. There is no privacy, he doesn’t do a detailed examination, he overcharges, and he cares about money ONLY. Not the patient, AGAIN, NOTTHEPATIENT. My mistake was getting treated without asking for his prices, but he doesn’t care because in his head, your insurance is paying for it. If you’ve been to another decent chiropractor you will easily notice the BIG difference of what a quality chiropractor is compared to this money-hungry mediocre chiropractor.

I have just recently started having back problems, and Dr. Najera has been fantastic! He has taken the time to explain to me what has gone out of whack so that I understand what is causing the problem, and he has some amazing tools to put me on the mend. His office is clean, and his system seems to move everyone along smoothly. Dr. Najera also has a great understanding of sports, and how to protect, maintain, and heal athletes. So, I will also be bringing my high school cross country runners to him. Thanks so much, Dr. Najera!

I’ve been going to the same Chiropractor for the past eight years, but when he retired from his practice, I decided it was time to scope out a new Chiropractor. Just a short drive from me is Otay Lakes road and Dr. Najera. I had a one-hour massage and one visit of chiropractic care with Dr. Najera. His receptionist was very friendly and my appointments were both on time(an uncommon occurrence in the medical field). The massage was very relaxing and comfortable, leaving me feeling refreshed and ready to go. The chiro visit was very informative and he didn’t make me feel like I was all out of alignment and in desperate need of his services. He aligned me and made me feel comfortable in returning… without the pressure of some chiropractors. I highly recommend him for massage or chiro care.
