Sally Beauty Supply

My co-​worker had a DIY hair color on this brand named «Argan oil» and it looks great! So I’m trying this and hopefully I will be saving lots of money not going to the hair salon. Will see! This store has friendly CS and was able to help me with my needs. I’m coming back here pretty soon to check out their other hair and make up stuff.

I always have a tough time finding decent products for my hair, which is naturally curly and tends to be dry. The Sally’s on Sweetwater Road is my Go-​To store for products meant for curly hair. They always have several brands and types (spray or gel) to choose from.
It’s sort of a ritual when I walk in. .. I am greeted, and I immediately say «curly hair» while pointing to the back of the store where the products I need are located. It always elicits a smile from whoever is on duty at the register. I’m very happy with the prices here, in addition to the variety of products available.
My wife is licensed and also buys products and supplies from this store. From time to time she finds interesting products in the mark-​down bin, located at the front of the store. I’m still amazed at the range of nail polish colors available, even including metallic.
We’re both fans !

This place is great. Came here once for a thick foam placemat and they did not have it in stock but the manager sold me the display one for a discounted price. She also showed me other placemats that they sell just to make sure I was getting exactly what I was asking for. They also have great monthly deals if you carry the red card. One item in particular was going to go on sale the very next day and the manager notified me so I came back the next day for the purchase. This place is great. They really take there time to help customers out. Thanks

Horrible customer service. All the employees are rude. They dont even try to help you. They have personal conversations and arguments in front of customers. I tried getting help with an item and one of the ladies left me mid-​conversation to listen in on a personal call with another employee. Theyve hassled be about returns on new unopened items that were purchased just days ago, as per the receipt. I ask for an item and they dont even try to help me find it. Instead she told me «we dont carry that». I looked for myself and found it in their store. Horrible. Id give negative stars if I could.

I like this sallys! It always has everything and It’s super close to home. They always have deals on everything and if you are a sallys card holder you do get 15−20% off coupons in mail:)
The staff is awesome maribel is so nice :) she always helps me find the perfect dye that I need she’s greeat. The store is always clean too and never packed :)

I received excellent customer service today and they had all the items I was looking for in stock. On top of that, I received a free flat iron with my purchase! Definitely recommended.

Came in with a hair emergency & needed it fixed in time for a dinner date. Great thanks to Maribel M. for all of her help and advice. My hair nightmare was repaired & the evening was saved! Thanks so much!!! :)

My mom always goes here. I like their selections of brushes lol… quick and easy stop for hair supplies… its like a liquor store for hair supplies.

I’ve been in this store a few times, on those few times, the staff members are ALWAYS arguing openly and in front of the customers. I kid you not! There is no work ethic or professionalism in this place. Forget about «hello, how may i help you?» nope, not here. The customer has to find the items on her own! Basically, the customers are invisible and if you dare to ask the workers something, they put this face as in «oh no, what now?!» These women working here NEED a makeover on personality and graciousness ASAP! should be called Sally’s crappy supply!

Great prices and product but they have one staff member who is a bitch! Excuse my language but Everytime I go in she is their and from day one she gave me serious additude. It was so bad that I would ask for her help and she would not want to remove her self from the register and give smart mouth remarks. I refuse for her to help me. And it’s sad because I am a regular their and I’m not the only one who has noticed her bad customer service. She is the heavy set Hispanic lady, dark skin, short boy hair cut, and I think she the manager??? But beware of her, everyone else that works their is very nice.

An employees job is to answer the customers questions about products that they would like to buy or what to know about. at this specific location they make it seem like a hassle to help you out. if you dont like your job then work somewhere. nothing aganist the store but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE the times i have been there

This location receives two stars from me only for the fact that they carry a decent selection of beauty supplies for relatively fair prices. The service rating should be written in scientific notation, it was that awful. Is there any way to give the rude women who work here a star to the negative 5^th power?
I’ll take my business elsewhere in the future.

I can always find what I need for a great deal! :) Staff is really friendly & pretty knowledgeable. & I love how its just a couple blocks from my house.

this is a very convenient place to go to rather than making the hike to armstrong. they have pretty good stuff (not superior)…and the prices are reasonable… i am gonna go buy more pumice stones today… and foot scrub!

My friends and family go to Sally’s whenever they need supplies for cutting and grooming hair. The staff are always friendly, parking is easy, and the prices are competitive. I just wish that it were in Chula Vista and closer to home.
