Hoy quede fascinada con lo rica que estaba la torta! Ojala y siempre estén así de ricas :)

Excellent food. I had multiple orders from the office and came very unorganized with everyone’s credit cards and cash. Elizabeth handled everything with ease even with the line out the door, pretty impressed. I even had to add on another two orders and everything came out about the same time. Everyone was able to enjoy a warm meal. Great customer service & great food.

Vieja mentirosa! Never again!

Went there, yesterday, July the 18th, with a gal pal to get some food. The girl working there was nice enough to let us enter and order, despite the fact that she was in the process of closing the restaurant. We both ordered a Carne Asad torta. The torta was delicious, and the bread was fresh and toasted to perfection. It is almost impossible to find a Mexican restaurant in San Diego that makes a torta this great, and the quality of the food is similar to that of the food south of the border, in quality and freshness. I would recommend trying this restaurant, even if you have to go out of your way to get there.

After shopping at everything a deal I thought it would be nice to get a drink with my daughter and my friend. Their chamango was not the best I had. It tasted watered down. The watermelon smoothie was more like a slush. It was just watermelon, ice and sugar blended. After drinking it half way, all that was left was pink ice. Although they gave good portions, it was not satisfying. Their prices are WAYY to expensive for the quality. I would rather go to neveria tocumbo for their mangoneadas and chamangos. The worker was really friendly. Customer service earned them an extra star.

Tortas are ok. Not my favorite. Could add a little more veggies and meat I’d say? The bread is decent. The smoothies are def a good choice! All real fruit so that’s a plus! I was kind of sad when I saw flys on the fruits that were cut up):

I always pass by this place every time I go to the plaza there and yesterday seem like a good time to try it out since we don’t have that much money on us. We ended ordering three tortas, including their Oasis special. It’s very compact and it seem sketchy to me. But from past experience, sketchy food places usually means great food. Needless to say, Oasis filled my expectations with their Oasis special. It’s not some high class food, but a torta is for on the go. I especially love the chipotle sauce with the shredded beef — just amazing. A definite go to for tortas.

This is the best place to get tortas. I absolutely love the flakiness of the bread and the ingredients compliment the sandwich. I usually get the turkey one with fruit smoothie if l make it in time for the special. Use the hot sauce too! The staff is so friendly!

Stopped in for a banana smoothie while I was walking around. The girl who made it was very nice and it was made very quickly. The smoothie it’s self was simply amazing! You can really tell the difference in cheap processes crap and a real natural smoothie. I will be back here for sure!

Tortas, nachos y agua natural de melon. The fresh made fruit juice was so good. I ordered two. My mom had a Milanese torta, descent torta minimal amount of meat. I asked for chipotle sauce on the side to give it more of a flavor. The carne asada torta had two thin slices of meat. The nachos had were tostitos chips, which few slices of jalapeños. Overall, I would return for the fresh fruit mix and options.

Went here a few weeks back, I had a ham torta & a mango smoothie. The price was decent. This is the closest fruit/torta shop to me & I will definitely return when my Spanish cravings kick in again. 3 stars from me. I love little places like these.

Had a milanesa torta & my bf had a limo Torta. They were large, the bread was toasted to perfection. They seemed very authentic, I could’ve been in a mercado jugeria in Mexico! So dont expect them to be piled with meat, as we are so accustomed sometimes. The horchata was authentic also, my mom makes it from scratch so I can easily tell when it is made from a syrup or from actual rice. I’m definitely going back to try the raspados!

Worst 20 dollars ever spent! People rave about this place so I had to check it out for myself, very disappointed. I order two tortas and nachos and a raspado, first off the bread was I little too toasted and black, the slice of milanesa was so thin, pretty much not worth the money I paid for it! also my son’s nachos were stale, he didn’t even feel like eating them, the only thing that was pleasant about this place was my strawberry raspado, plus it was a 20 – 30 min wait… I highly doubt I will ever return to the place!

Fresh, healthy and delicious! All their sandwiches and tortas are great. I usually order the mollete(bean and cheese) with avocado, the milanesa(breaded steak) and/or the veggie. Their veggie sandwich is the best, especially when they have panela cheese on hand. Avocados + Panela Cheese= creamy perfection. They have a bunch of yummy snacks too– fruit salads with granola, cottage cheese and honey. As well as bionicos– fruit salad topped with a cream fruit topping. Yum! And if you’re in the mood for a sweet and sour snack, their Tostilocos hit the spot. I have my co-workers hooked on this place too! :)

Not great, not bad… just there. I ordered the small fruit salad and ordered the steak torta and watermelon smoothie for my daughter. It took about 5 minutes for me to get my fruit salad and I thought I’d get everything at once but the lady looked at me like that was unheard of! It took another 5 minutes for my daughter’s torta and another 3 for the smoothie. I wonder if multi-tasking has occurred to them… I thought the torta was going to be carne asada as I didn’t order Milanesa, I ordered steak but they gave us Milanesa(Monet doesn’t know the difference so I didn’t say anything). The fruit salad had a great variety of fruit but was very soupy as you got towards the middle/end. Very soupy. Like, ½ cup of liquid in the container! A mixture of the fruit juices that were undrained and honey? Anyway, Monet approved of her steak and took that out of the bread to eat by itself. She said the smoothie was«too watermelony» but that means nothing except it probably wasn’t tasty enough — all watermelons aren’t the tastiest/sweetest. Besides the flies that wouldn’t leave us alone and ultimately made us hurry up and leave, we had a pleasant lunch.

This is actually a pretty good place, but I can’t give it a four-star rating simply because of the fly issue they seem to have inside. I hate always having to take my lunch back to work… I’m there enough during the day, I don’t have to take my breaks there too. However, it’s hard to eat with flies. Anyway, other than that, the tortas a crispy, yummy and filling and their jucies are fab. I like the one with beat and carrots. It rejuvinates you! If this place doesn’t get some sticky fly paper fast, I say order it to go.

This place was one of my favorite lunch spots. Reason I say«was» its because lately I’ve had some bad experience with their food. Used to be that their tortas was full of flavor especially their specialty torta«Oasis Especial» which is pulled pork with chiplote sauce, yea very good. The last time I ordered my Oasis especial, I guess the cook was being extra careful and hand washed my lettuce because it tasted like soap. Also before they use to dip the pork in the sauce making it explosively good, this time they just sprinkle some sauce on top. Also another downturn is that they take forever to make a torta, you will spend 10 minutes waiting for your torta even when its empty at 3 p.m. Overall this place is very disappointing, save yourself a buck or two and go to Carls Jr which is literally across the street.

One of my favorite things about working in the South Bay is all of the fruteria & torta places. Just had an AWSOME fruit salad from here! Had a small salad but it can easily be shared w/someone… lots of fruit… fresh papaya, watermelon, apple, pineapple, banana, melon(u can specify what fruits u want)…topped w/cottage cheese, granola & a drizzle of honey… YUM! I can eat this every day! Also reasonably priced at $ 4.30. Sure beats going to the grocery store & cutting up a bunch of fruit. Oh yeah, they also sell tortas which are large & tasty. My fave is the vegetarian w/avocado & queso panela(a delicious mexican cheese). They also have great smoothies, natural fruit juices, horchata & jamaica. It is a small hole in the wall in a strip mall, kind of hard to find. I just pick up to go.
